I've listened to a lot of true crime podcasts and this is my favorite. The host is fantastic. Great storytelling, wonderful humor and a voice that you can't get enough of. I'm addicted. "Cheerio"
What can I say that others haven't already? When ever I have a spare 5 minutes to myself I always pop on an episode of British Murders. Each episode is well researched and presented in a factual and concise manner. Stuart's sense of humour is right up my street. Can't wait for the next one. Vickie-Jay
Amazing podcast with an amazing friendly host!
I've been catching up on all the old episodes and I'm so very hooked. I never listened to podcasts before, I'd very easily get bored so well done stu for keeping me interested. It's great for when I'm delivering in my van at work. Plus I love all the ice breakers and your waffling on that you do, never change!
Love this show. Binged the entire catalogue in one day. Short and disturbing and very revealing about your chances of getting stabbed or melted or fed to hedgehogs in the British Isles. Makes Canadian murders seem so pedestrian and disinteresting. The host is also a great guy.
I love this podcast! Stuart has a fab voice and is engaging and interesting. I always learn something. I’ve recommended to my daughter and she’s loving it too!
Stuart is brilliant, straight to the point no rambling. I listen when I am in the office and makes my day go so quickly. Thank you for being you!
Another favorite true crime podcast. Each episode is packed with information about the crime, everything leading up to it and aftermath. Stuart has a very soothing voice and puts a lot of detail into this series. A+
Love this podcast. I'm a community carer and listen to this while I'm on my rounds. Easy to dip in and out of and has interesting stories I haven't really heard about. Nice accent as well and one of few hosts who never annoys me!
I really want to enjoy this podcast, but I can’t get past the host’s constant focus on cracking jokes instead of truly engaging with the subject matter. The repeated wisecracks feel out of place, especially for a True Crime podcast, where the stories deserve more respect and depth. It often comes off as dismissive to the seriousness of the cases being discussed. What’s even more concerning is that the host’s child is featured on the show. Given the nature of the content, I don’t think this is something children should be exposed to. It’s a hard listen for adults, let alone little ones. A more thoughtful approach to both the content and the audience would make a huge difference.
Well researched and well presented.
Love listening to podcasts. As i write this review i am working my way through all episodes. Love the dad facts and your narration of each case. Well done and keep up the good work.
It's supposed to be called British Murders yet this pom can't even speak English properly. Pronounce the Ts you whacker!
So many cases I have never heard of until I started listening to British murders. So much detail in every case keep up the good work. Liam
Found the show three weeks ago and have throughly enjoyed binging my way through every season!! Looking forward to future episodes!!
As. Yorkshireman myself, I really appreciate Stuart's dry wit and humour which breaks the well researched and factual content. I like you stu are fascinated on how these people get to the point of murder and the story that leads to it. I am also interested in why these people think they can try and get away with it. Keep up with the great work stu 🙂
