Illich Mujica is a Venezuelan born, New York City-bred DJ who plays uplifting melodic tunes blended with dark and mysterious beats. A commanding stage presence who always connects on an emotional level with the crowd, he understands a DJ performance as a communal experience, in which he guides the listeners on a profound musical ride.

With over a decade of experience playing in New York City’s top clubs (Output, House of Yes, Cielo), international hotel and resort rooftops and lounges (Public Hotels,The Standard , Habitas NYC, La Granja), exclusive parties (Caravan Gitane, Woomoon closing afterparty Ibiza, Lightning Society Burlesquerade ), festivals (Mysteryland, Member’s Only, Burning Man) and private events, he can dig deep into his vast musical library to craft the perfect set for almost any setting.

His fan-favorite sets, however, are ones of transition: musical journeys that bring the crowd from a sunny day to a sensuous night; driving, dark beats to a joyous sunrise; and meditative global sounds to jazzy piano riffs.
