How the movie has aged


Steve- i feel about 70% of the movie has aged well, the music has the 90’s vibe and the tech involved is what drives the percentage down. Otherwise works well now.


I feel like the use of cgi in this film didn't ask for too much. Most of it is used to create solid non-elastic objects (buildings, cars, ships) [not characters] which is way easier to render. When they rebuilt Leelo from her hand, the cgi didn't have to move, and when they got to the harder parts to create, like her skin and hair, they cover her and then reveal with the live actor on the other side.
