RATING
Best and only free to play video game rating podcast around. Jeff, Scott and Elliot do what they do well and stay in their niche. Extra Episodes with interviews keep things interesting.
Free-to-play games tend to be hit or miss (often miss), and the guys take the hit to let you know the latest and not-always-the-greatest ones. They picked up a great niche for a podcast and do it well, and have a great dynamic with each other - even though some of us lament the loss of Cody #buttbiscuits.
“It took me about an hour of playing but I had every single woman impregnated by this time.” Suffice to say, every lady in the vault was happy. This podcast covers free to play games and tells you all the details you need to know, such as how long it takes to get a vault full of females pregnant. At the end of the episode, you get a thumbs up or thumbs down on the game. Or a minus star rating if the game is really poop. ?Informative show with a lighthearted feel - if you’re in to (or considering) gaming give it a go.
I've now listened to a bunch of episodes for this show, and find myself see-sawing between it being a must-listen podcast in my queue, and a show that I skip immediately. For that reason, I'm giving it a neutral rating.PROS: What a fantastic concept. I have limited budget for video gaming and hearing about F2P games and honest opinions about them is a great way for me to add new ones to my queue. The hosts are engaging and knowledgable and really give me a good sense of the game.CONS: The audio quality is all over the map. Additionally it feels like a lot of things get said 5-10 times, which extends the length of an episode for unknown reasons. It's hard for me to connect with the show because I'm often noticing serious audio miscues that feel like they could be easily covered given just how talented this team obviously is when they get it right.
I dont like video games enough to spend much money on them. This show is perfect for people like me, to get some insight on the coolest free games, and find out which ones to avoid. Great personalities involved, and likes Jules Winnfield says, personality goes a long way.
It isn't 14 minutes and 7 seconds but I'll give it 5 stars anyway just to be nice.Cage Mark
