Born and raised in Richmond, VA, the middle child of five children with two loving parents who taught her the value of a great work ethic and strength of character. After graduating 5th in my high school class, I went on to earn a bachelor of science degree in Civil & Environmental engineering from Virginia Tech. I started a position with a specialty contracting company in project management where I developed leadership skills and was challenged to grow and allow my gifts to make room for me.In the 15 years I’ve worked in that industry, I was also introduced to the financial services industry, where I not only got licensed, but became more educated about how money works and how to get it to work better for me.
