I always do my best to make my emails as personal and as natural as possible. You need to establish that connection or nurture relationship with people and not simply consider them as part of your long list. In my emails, I start with a compelling subject line, an intro with my recipient’s name, a body, some links, a closing line and my signature. Just the way you write your normal letters. There are some other things to consider when sending emails such as minimal images and HTML’s to avoid being flagged. Also consider to have about 65 characters per line since email software might not wrap your text, making it harder for people receiving your email to read them. Remember that, you don’t want to be yelling out with your subject line (all caps subject lines) because this is a sure-fired way to be flagged as SPAM especially if you start blasting out to hundreds and thousands of recipients in your list.
