I have to say, I really love listening to these two. Their banter and back and forth barbs are a lot of fun. You have to check out "these two characters."Ok, so let's get into it, the best 80s movies endings . . . I didn't TOTALLY agree with ALL their choices. But they made some great arguments for each one that I didn't agree with. There are just so many terrific endings to choose from the eighties. As you know, my favorite decade for films. It was hilarious listening to Max both defend his picks for best eighties endings and yet say the eighties struggled with how to end movies. Wait, what? But, I do understand his point. I don't want to give away any of their picks here, because I think you should listen to the episode yourself!I will tell you my favorite ending (or at least one of them, I hate choosing my FAVORITE anything). Has to be "A Christmas Story" - Ralphie gets his most treasured gift of all time, a rifle. What is more eighties than that? Also, he realizes how much his dad cares for him in his own way and we learn to appreciate family. Closely followed up by . . . "The Neverending Story" while it doesn't give us any closure with Bastian and his father, and it undoes the entire film, it is just a fun ending that reminds us to believe in something, to have faith, to have confidence, and to stick it to your bullies!I love this podcast for their energy and their commitment to the craft.
