In this solo episode of Calm Is The New Black, Annebelle shares her recent experience of a panic attack that took her by surprise, offering some insights into this common condition and how to support yourself, or someone else through it.
This podcast episode was scheduled to be released to support Mental Health Awareness month, which is April. But given the recent widespread panic and fear sweeping across our world, we have moved it forward. Please do share it with anyone you are concerned about. Panic attacks are, sadly, going to become much more common as we get used to the new normal. Isolation. Uncertainty. Fear. And loss. It may be helpful for you to at least know how to support the people you love when they are experiencing a panic attack, or support yourself through it.
If this episode raises concerns for you please contact your doctor or mental health support organization.
