From  a Telly-Award winning show host, to beginning my journey as an entrepreneur, THIS is my story. I have a decade-long relationship with production and presenting on-camera. This is how my storytelling journey began, and how it's shaped me into the Podcast Host and Entrepreneur I am today.

What you may not know about me is that the deep drive behind my love of video, is really a passion for storytelling. Empowering others to tell their own unique story is one of my fundamental missions at Camera Brave. I believe confidence is the first step in owning your story. And while it can be difficult to embrace that it's our turn to tell it (hello, how has it taken me 44 episodes to tell my own story?!), the truth is that it isn't about you. It's about the impact your story will have on someone else. 

In this episode, I dive into how I first became an impactful storyteller. My first major project was creating a short film on American Sign Language (ASL) Poetry, which went on to air on a local PBS Station. Later in college, I had the opportunity to discover and tell the inspiring history of how my family journeyed from Cuba to America. Telling these stories lit a fire in me.

I love all things video because it allows to to connect deeper. Stories have the impact to encourage, inspire and change lives. That's why I HAD to start my own Podcast. Not because I thought I was so amazing that people had to listen to my voice, but because I knew it would create a platform and opportunities to tell meaningful stories.

So, friend, it's time to get comfortable with telling your own story. Don't let it take you 44 weeks to tell your story! It isn't about you, it's about the people you have the power to effect. Your strength, resilience, and achievements can inspire more people than you can imagine.
