1:38

you're putting cues in for question.

1:41

Make sure you're posting your,

1:41

your non scale victories.

1:44

And, uh, without any further, I think,

1:44

I guess I'll pass it over to Larry.

1:48

Go ahead and introduce yourself. Hey, uh, Larry, I'm the carnivore

1:51

soldier from Austin, Texas.

1:54

I've been carnivore since March 22nd.

1:57

So today is, I think 179 for me and

1:57

I've been lion diet for 49 days.

2:02

Now, uh, I've come down from

2:02

280 pounds to 236 feel awesome.

2:09

Healed up a bunch of stuff, no allergies. Just rocking and rolling.

2:12

If you want to get to my site,

2:12

just go to carnivoresoldier.

2:15

com. It's got all my links and you

2:15

can check me out on YouTube.

2:18

Follow, like, and subscribe, please. All right, Brian.

2:27

All right. My name is Brian. I have, uh, the Wiccos carnivore YouTube

2:29

channel, and I've been carnivore for

2:34

a little over 14 months now, and I've

2:34

lost, um, Over 75 pounds in that time

2:40

period, actually closing in at 80 now

2:40

and, um, healed a lot of different

2:46

things, uh, lowered my blood pressure.

2:49

I haven't had any AFib episodes

2:49

in over a year and I used to get

2:53

a couple a week before carnivore.

2:55

Um, arthritis, joint pain, uh, mild

2:55

depression, all that stuff is gone.

3:02

So carnivore has been a lifesaver for me.

3:07

Outstanding. Outstanding. All right, JT.

3:11

Hey, what's up guys. I'm JT from the Poco Moonshine family.

3:14

Um, I had bad IBS and sleep apnea, and

3:14

I had three discs in my back that were

3:20

out of alignment from a car accident. But, uh, thanks to Carnivore, all

3:22

those issues are completely gone.

3:26

I don't suffer from any

3:26

of that stuff no more.

3:28

I have tons of energy. Um, my max weight was 254 pounds.

3:34

But I, uh, I did start

3:34

carnivore at 194, 195.

3:38

I lost weight before carnivore

3:38

just from cutting out beer and

3:41

soda, but I was still, um, still

3:41

had IBS and still had sleep apnea.

3:46

So, um, all, all that did was just

3:46

help me lose some weight, but getting

3:51

on carnivore helped me actually

3:51

kick the IBS, kick the sleep apnea

3:55

and all that stuff to the curb. So. Uh, that's my story and I'm here

3:57

to keep on spreading the good news.

4:02

Outstanding. All right.

4:05

So the conversation today is non scale

4:05

victories and, um, you know, I've had

4:10

some non scale victories and know all you

4:10

guys have had some non scale victories.

4:14

So we're going to share those and

4:14

we're going to talk about them.

4:17

Um, You know, whether they're, uh,

4:17

they're immediate or they've been out

4:21

after some time on carnivore, um, some

4:21

of them may be, uh, um, you know, maybe

4:26

embarrassing, but, you know, we're

4:26

going to have some conversations here.

4:29

Um, one of the big non scale

4:29

victories for me is my blood pressure.

4:35

And I did a video on this, um, but my

4:35

blood pressure has always been high.

4:41

And, um, when I was a kid and a

4:41

teenager, I would go in, you know,

4:45

to the doctor and be like, Oh, your

4:45

blood pressure is kind of high.

4:49

And we lost larry there, oh i'm still

4:49

here, okay, I just my camera just I

4:53

reset my camera that's all sorry Uh,

4:53

I get used to my internet bumping so I

4:57

see things like that and it throws me

4:57

off Sorry about that Anyways, my blood

5:00

pressure would be high even when I was

5:00

a teenager And then when I hit my 20s

5:04

and we were getting ready to adopt A

5:04

couple of kids that were my cousins.

5:09

Um, I had to get a Physical done and I

5:09

got diagnosed with high blood pressure

5:14

officially and got put on the medication

5:14

that I'm was still taking till today.

5:18

Um, so this was 20, 24 years ago, I guess,

5:18

um, anyways, even on medicine, my blood

5:28

pressure still ran in the high zone. It wasn't ever perfect, but it was within

5:30

manageable range for the doctor and,

5:35

um, that's been going on for, for years.

5:38

Um, I did a huge weight loss push

5:38

back in 2012, 2013 and got down

5:47

to a little lower than I am now. And, um, my blood pressure was

5:49

still high then, you know, even on

5:52

medication, it didn't come down. I was still, I was still

5:54

running high blood pressure. And so, uh, I just figured I'm always

5:57

going to have high blood pressure.

6:02

But the cool thing about carnivore is,

6:02

is since I started carnivore and you

6:06

can watch my video and see the, the,

6:06

the, the picture I put up, but I've

6:10

been keeping my blood pressure check

6:10

and it's steadily has reduced and come

6:14

down every single month that I've been

6:14

on carnivore and, um, As of today, I am

6:21

down to just one of my benzoyl pills,

6:21

and I'm probably going to be kicking that

6:26

hopefully here in the next month or two. Um, and my blood pressure

6:27

is still averaging 127 over

6:33

78, which is phenomenal.

6:36

You know, and that's after getting

6:36

rid of 1 4th or getting rid of 3

6:40

4ths of my medication that I've

6:40

been taking for a long time.

6:43

So. That's one big non scale victory for

6:44

me that I'm absolutely happy with and

6:48

I've done some research and your body

6:48

functions better and your heart functions

6:52

better on carnivore and on ketones.

6:56

So, you know, keep an eye on it,

6:56

especially if you're carnivore and

7:00

you do have high blood pressure. You definitely want to keep an eye on

7:01

your blood pressure because, you know,

7:03

it can get so low that you have issues

7:03

like I was having at one point where I

7:07

started bending over and getting dizzy. Larry, what do you got to say?

7:15

Uh, yeah. So for me, it was a combination.

7:17

I mean, losing weight was huge because,

7:17

uh, that was, you know, well, it's

7:24

holding me back a lot, but it really

7:24

was motivation and energy to do things.

7:28

So I found myself at a point in

7:28

when I was really heavy that I

7:34

had no motivation to do anything. Uh, you'd get off the couch.

7:37

I mean, everything was a chore. Walking my dog was a chore.

7:40

I mean, just any little thing Was it

7:40

was hard to do in a pain and then after

7:45

two weeks on this, I had so much energy.

7:48

I was looking for things to do. I'd start cleaning up the house.

7:50

I start doing chores around.

7:53

I'd start weeding. I hate weeding. I started weeding. I loved it.

7:55

Um, I started not just walking

7:55

my dog, but taking him for hikes

7:59

doing, you know, uh, it's, it's, it,

7:59

it was transformational for sure.

8:05

So, um, sorry, my camera's

8:05

glitching a little bit, but,

8:08

uh, you can hear me fine though. Right? The audio should be good.

8:11

Yeah, your audio's good. Yeah.

8:14

So I think that was, that was

8:14

really transformational because that

8:17

motivation thing drove me forward and

8:17

encouraged me so much that my whole

8:22

attitude towards every aspect of my

8:22

life started getting more positive.

8:27

And again, uh, I'm, Brian talked about

8:27

depression and, uh, mental health

8:32

issues, you know, uh, I'm a veteran,

8:32

retired army, and, you know, we're

8:35

known for our , our mental health

8:35

issues for, uh, thanks for serving, bud.

8:39

Hey, no problem. I, it's, I'm retired now.

8:41

It was a good, it was a good ride,

8:41

but, um, You know, it's, it's the

8:45

mental health issues are huge. And I think I, I, I didn't even notice

8:46

this till later, but I did notice that

8:51

I had less stress, less anxiety, and

8:51

my depression just basically went away.

8:57

Um, which I used to have like days

8:57

that were bad and I haven't had

9:00

a bad day and I can't remember

9:00

how long now it's, it's amazing.

9:04

So those are the big victories

9:04

I had, I think, initially.

9:10

Excellent. You know, and I had a lot of that too. I'm sure, I'm sure Brian and JT can

9:12

confirm the, the, the brain fog,

9:19

the, the lack of energy, all that

9:19

stuff is just, you know, as you get

9:24

older, you start thinking, Hey, you

9:24

know, I guess I'm getting older.

9:27

That's just part of life. But, and then when you get on carnivore

9:28

and you've been on it for a short period

9:31

of time, you're like, wait a minute here,

9:31

I feel better than I did when I was 20.

9:34

You know, what, what's the story here. So then you really started

9:36

delving in and realizing, and.

9:39

Um, no, I shouldn't feel this way.

9:41

This is just because I haven't been

9:41

providing my body the proper nutrition.

9:46

Um, Brian, what do you got going on

9:46

today or what do you want to talk about?

9:49

Sorry. So I've had a lot of non scale

9:51

victories, uh, in the last year or so.

9:57

Um, the one I'm going to talk about

9:57

here probably has been the biggest

10:01

life changing one for me is AFIB.

10:03

It stands for Atrial Fibrillation and

10:03

it's a It's an issue with, uh, electronic

10:10

signals for your heart for heart beating.

10:13

So what happens is when you go into an

10:13

episode, you know, your, your heart's

10:17

beating at like a normal rhythm, right? And then what happens is it starts

10:19

speeding up like this and then it goes

10:22

back to normal and then it starts speeding

10:22

up like this again Um, and it causes your

10:27

heart rate to go up because your blood

10:27

pressure to go up and you know Likelihood

10:31

of stroke and that kind of stuff. So I was diagnosed with that in 2018

10:33

and it slowly got worse and worse.

10:40

The cardiologist said it

10:40

would be get worse and worse.

10:42

Um, at one point I had to go into

10:42

the hospital, couldn't get out of

10:46

the episode I was having and they had

10:46

to shock my heart back into rhythm.

10:51

Um, and they were starting to talk about,

10:51

um, potentially doing a surgical procedure

10:56

to, um, To essentially freeze certain

10:56

areas of your heart so that the signals

11:03

didn't get messed up in those areas. And, um, that's about when I started.

11:08

I actually started keto first,

11:08

didn't really make a difference, but

11:13

I did lose a little bit of weight

11:13

and then I went into carnivore.

11:16

And really quickly within

11:16

carnivore, I noticed the difference.

11:19

So before I had started

11:19

carnivore, I was having about

11:23

two episodes a week, probably. Um, anytime I did like strenuous

11:25

weightlifting, I could, I could

11:30

cause enough stress to my heart

11:30

that I would go into an episode.

11:34

And, um, Probably within the first month

11:34

or so, I noticed I wasn't having episodes

11:40

again, and it's now been pretty much close

11:40

to 14 months since I've had an episode.

11:46

Um, and I can, I can lift heavier

11:46

weights than what I was before

11:51

when I was causing it to happen. And for a longer period of time,

11:53

and I, I have not gone back into it.

11:58

Um, I recently had a situation where I

11:58

kind of got dehydrated and my electrolytes

12:03

got a little off balance and, um, I had

12:03

a few skipped heartbeats, but I never

12:08

went into a fib or anything from it.

12:11

So that was very encouraging. Um, cause in the past, if

12:13

there was anything like that,

12:15

I would have gone into a fib. So I'm pretty convinced.

12:19

And I've asked other people from

12:19

my channel that have had a fib and.

12:23

If they're convinced to that, if you go

12:23

to carnivore, you pretty much, if you

12:29

don't get rid of a fib completely, you

12:29

get, you know, mostly like you hardly

12:33

ever have episodes anymore or anything. So that's been huge for me.

12:37

It's been completely life changing

12:37

because before, you know, I was

12:41

constantly worrying if I was

12:41

going to go into an episode and

12:44

how long I was going to be in it. And if. You know, my heart rate would

12:46

get high enough that I could potentially have a stroke or if

12:48

there was blood clotting at my heart.

12:52

So that was huge for me just getting

12:52

away from all those episodes.

12:56

I was having outstanding,

12:56

outstanding, um, and I'll put this

13:01

out for you, put in the comments. If you started on keto and went carnivore,

13:02

I'm just curious how many people out

13:06

there started keto and went carnivore.

13:08

Now, me personally, I went from the

13:08

sad diet to carnivore in a week.

13:14

You know, I started March 1st

13:14

and by the end of that week, I

13:16

was completely off, off carbs. I know some people have

13:18

stepped into it slowly.

13:20

Some people went keto, then

13:20

carnivore, um, I don't think you can

13:24

go vegan, then carnivore very well. I've seen some people try that and

13:26

end up crashing because your body

13:29

just can't handle that far of a jump. Um, but I put it in the comments.

13:33

If you went keto or if you started

13:33

keto and went carnivore and, uh,

13:37

let's move it over here to JT and,

13:37

uh, JT, what's your biggest victory?

13:41

I know Carrie went from keto to carnivore.

13:43

Uh, I watched ke Kari do keto

13:43

and I just, uh, nothing against

13:47

him or his, his progress. It's just keto didn't impress

13:48

me when anybody did it.

13:51

So, but carnivore man,

13:51

I saw those results.

13:54

I was like, holy crap, I want in. It was another level for me, but,

13:57

um, uh, non-skilled victories, man.

14:01

I got a couple of. Most recently, I'm finally in

14:02

a medium shirt for the first

14:05

time in my life as an adult. I don't think I've worn a medium

14:08

shirt since I was probably like nine.

14:11

I've always been a fat

14:11

kid, so uh, that was wild.

14:14

I still can't believe I'm

14:14

wearing a medium shirt right now.

14:16

Just, just doesn't feel,

14:16

uh, feel real, but it is.

14:21

Um, yeah, I feel too.

14:23

I was just reading, like, I feel like... I don't know if I'm either

14:25

reading faster or just soaking

14:30

in what I'm reading better. You know what I'm saying?

14:32

So not, I don't know one of the

14:32

two, but I think I'm reading better.

14:36

Um, and I'm retaining the, the

14:36

info that I'm reading a lot better.

14:41

Uh, sorry about that guys. Um, yeah, and I did my first pull

14:44

up in years at Carrie's place.

14:49

A reason is that I don't have a place

14:49

at my house here to do a pull up.

14:52

Like, and if I do them on like the, the

14:52

door frames or something, I have a feeling

14:56

I'm going to pull the boards off the wall. So. But, uh, so that was fun.

15:00

Did the, um, I had bad depression

15:00

and, uh, anxiety tax before carnivore.

15:06

That's all gone. Um, thank goodness, man.

15:09

I had some bad thoughts and,

15:09

uh, I'm glad I never acted

15:12

on any of those bad thoughts. And I suggest if anybody else is out

15:13

there having negative thoughts that, uh.

15:18

Please do not act on them, you know,

15:18

uh, give yourself a chance to feel

15:22

better because you will so, um, I

15:22

also recently I just found a farmer.

15:27

I'm going to be buying my

15:27

meat from so it's going to go

15:29

meet, uh, from farm to table. So that's cool.

15:32

I'm trying to go to like to pick

15:32

and save in the Walmarts less.

15:36

Um, nothing wrong with if

15:36

you do that, do do that.

15:39

But, um, I just feel like we should

15:39

support our farmers a little bit more.

15:43

So, um, also to on carnivore, I

15:43

stopped smoking pot, uh, 27 days in.

15:49

Um, I just, and I haven't

15:49

smoked since I'm on day 81 now.

15:53

Um, of carnivore. So yeah, I have no, it was weird.

15:57

I saw Carrie post a short and it said,

15:57

uh, carnivores get high on stakes.

16:02

And I laughed. I said, man, this guy's crazy.

16:05

But then there's truth in that joke, man.

16:07

Like, uh, round days at 27, I

16:07

literally started feeling so good.

16:11

I was, I literally felt like

16:11

a natural high on stakes.

16:14

And I was like, this is better than pot, man. So I quit smoking pot.

16:17

So that was cool. Um, the sleep apnea, I had sleep

16:18

apnea, which almost killed me.

16:23

Um, and at night, like, uh, I

16:23

couldn't breathe without, um.

16:27

just hearing all sorts of wheeziness

16:27

and sounds and um, just feeling every

16:32

breath go through the smallest airway. So that I don't feel anymore.

16:35

No more sleep apnea, no more wheezy. IBS is gone.

16:39

Uh, I don't obsess over

16:39

knowing where a bathroom is.

16:42

So, um, yeah, that's, that's

16:42

the couple right there.

16:45

And I think that's very important because

16:45

it's so liberating, man, that I don't

16:48

have to worry about using the bathroom

16:48

or knowing where a bathroom is, or if I'm

16:53

going to have a problem and need the bath. It just, I hate bathrooms, man.

16:56

And I really don't need them much anymore. So it's awesome.

17:01

It's, it is awesome. You, you, you can go a day or more in

17:02

between bathrooms other than, you know,

17:07

obviously other than using the urinal,

17:07

but, uh, it is absolutely amazing.

17:12

We are up to 31 people in here,

17:12

which is too high for my lives.

17:17

I don't know about your guys's, but, uh,

17:17

I appreciate each and every one of you.

17:21

If you could hit the like button. On whatever channel you're watching

17:23

this from and hit this, you know, and

17:27

hit the share button and share it to

17:27

your social media and get the word out.

17:31

And we'll get more people in here and

17:31

we can share more of this lifestyle.

17:35

Um, to the world, all the better.

17:37

Um, I'm going to take a break from the,

17:37

from, uh, these guys and we'll just

17:41

kind of go through here and say hi to

17:41

a few people that are popped in here.

17:44

Um, we got, we got Don's, uh, I'm not

17:44

going to try to pronounce the last name.

17:49

I'm sorry. All right.

17:55

Somebody answered this question. He says stream element bot running.

17:58

What is the stream element bot? Uh, I'm not sure what that is.

18:03

the bottom? Is that, is that a problem where

18:06

it's listing out all our channels?

18:09

If I need to, I can take that down,

18:09

but I'm not sure what you mean.

18:12

So let me know. Paulette says happy Sunday, gentlemen.

18:17

Hey, Paulette. We got Richard in here from Copper Hill.

18:23

Hello, Richard. How you doing today? Big supporter, man.

18:27

We got Bold Carnivore. Hello, Carnivore friends.

18:32

There's Poco Moonshine family. I know that guy.

18:35

Yay! We got, we got Carnivore Transformer.

18:40

Hello, bud. What's up, Graham? South Africa, in the house.

18:45

South Africa in the house. He's doing a lot of great work

18:47

on the carnivore diet movie.

18:50

Hey, Renee, Renee says, Hey guys, I

18:50

thought I was going to miss this one,

18:53

but I got lunch pushed back two hours. Well, well, that's better.

18:56

Just push that lunch back. You don't need it anyways. Yeah, you'll, you'll be, uh,

18:58

cooking that meat up in no time.

19:01

I guarantee you're going to finish the whole thing. Now you pushed it back two hours.

19:09

Primal Mike, how you doing

19:09

bud carnivore family.

19:16

Yep. Both carnivores is I'm down 89 kilograms.

19:20

That's 196 pounds. Now I was 110 kilograms, 242 pounds.

19:26

It's like damn near two people. He lost. Yeah.

19:30

You're one 96. And I was trying to do the math on that.

19:32

I was like, man, they don't add up, but I understand the question. I'm better.

19:34

I had to reread it. That's still, that's phenomenal.

19:38

So, you know, congratulations

19:38

on that weight loss.

19:44

All right. Uh, Laney. Hi from Western Australia.

19:47

It's Monday morning here. Hey, fry up them kangaroos.

19:51

Let's go. We're sorry that it's, we're sorry

19:52

that it's Monday for you, but

19:55

it'll be Monday for us tomorrow. They get to Friday faster though.

19:59

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. They will get to Friday faster than us.

20:07

All right. Let's see here. Non skilled victory.

20:10

I'm not sure. Yeah. Let us know. If you ain't shy, you're not, you're

20:12

not shy of talking, not shy to talk

20:17

about, I have non scale victory.

20:20

I'm not shy to talk about it. Yeah. Put it out here.

20:22

We'll talk about it. I got, I got, I got one that's

20:23

a personal, but I'm going to

20:27

share it here after a bit. Hello, Nicole.

20:32

Hold on a sec.

20:36

Wait a minute. We've got the man, the

20:36

myth, the legend in here. What's up?

20:43

Y'all doing all right? You feel good? We're doing Don.

20:45

How are you doing, man? I can't complain.

20:47

Sorry I'm late. . Oh, you're fine, sir.

20:50

We're, we're just getting going here. Uh, we got, uh, 36 in here right now.

20:55

NICE's. What's up? What's up, patrol? How y'all doing?

20:59

We're doing good. Awesome. Jt.

21:01

What's up man? How you doing? How y'all All Y'all good?

21:05

Where transfer says same

21:05

as blood pressures down.

21:09

All right. Let's take a break here, Sean. Thanks for joining us.

21:12

Um, so we just kind of did a round

21:12

of talking about our own personal

21:17

victories are our big one, you

21:17

know, the big victory that we found

21:20

in the carnivore diet outside of

21:20

outside of obviously weight loss.

21:24

Um, so what would be your big victory?

21:29

on carnivore outside of weight loss. I think they're all big man.

21:32

But, uh, the biggest one, I mean,

21:32

obviously for me, you know, is the

21:38

depression, the mental, the mental

21:38

clarity and getting rid of the depression.

21:42

That was the most debilitating thing

21:42

I've ever dealt with in my life.

21:46

I would trade. I would trade life.

21:49

You know, I would trade almost

21:49

all the other victories for

21:52

the depression being gone. Honestly, I mean, that was

21:54

that was crippling, man.

21:58

I agree. I, this is my personal view on it.

22:01

When I started carnivore and I'm sure

22:01

all of you there at the same point,

22:05

you simply wanted to lose weight. You're like, man, I'm overweight.

22:08

I need to lose. I need to lose some weight. And you hear about this diet and you

22:10

scratch your head and you're like,

22:13

I can't believe that I can eat beef,

22:13

butter, bacon, eggs, and lose weight.

22:17

But, you know, I've been doing that all

22:17

my life and here I am as fat as I was.

22:21

Um, but you get on the diet, you

22:21

cut the carbs and then a weekend

22:26

or so you start, you're like, man,

22:26

I'm starting to feel really good.

22:30

You know, then you're

22:30

two, three, four weeks in.

22:32

You're like, wow, I'm really feeling good.

22:34

And he's in my, my anxiety has gone away.

22:37

I mean, they both froze on us.

22:46

You're still here, guys. Don't worry. Their internet lagged for a half a second.

22:50

They'll be back in a half a second. You know, you start feeling

22:52

like, you know, or you start

22:55

realizing, wait a minute, this,

22:55

this is more than weight loss.

22:58

And then suddenly the, the health becomes

22:58

more important than the weight loss.

23:02

I tell people all the time, I don't

23:02

care if I lose another pound, you

23:05

know, if I stay right here where I'm

23:05

at for the rest of my life, the way I

23:09

feel and the health improvements that

23:09

it's given me is worth everything.

23:14

On this diet. And I can't emphasize that enough.

23:17

It is worth everything on this diet.

23:22

And that's why I like this, this

23:22

conversation day, non scale victories,

23:25

because there's, there's, there's

23:25

so much, there's so many things that

23:28

have happened to change in your,

23:28

you know, in all of us being on this

23:32

diet, that's not related to the scale.

23:35

Um, that's amazing. So that's a great, you know, a great thing

23:36

about this diet is, is truly not a diet.

23:40

It is a lifestyle change and it's a

23:40

lifestyle that's easy to maintain.

23:46

It's not, you know, people say,

23:46

well, that's not sustainable.

23:49

Yes, it is. It's absolutely sustainable.

23:52

Yes. This is the easiest thing

23:53

I've ever done in my life.

23:55

The other way, you know. Yeah, this is the easiest thing

23:57

I've ever done in my life.

24:00

So, uh, Sean, you got

24:00

anything more to say?

24:03

Oh man, I could talk forever about

24:03

the non scale victories, man.

24:07

I mean, honestly, there's so much

24:07

that you don't realize is happening.

24:10

Even, even those of us who seems like

24:10

we talk about it nonstop all day, every

24:15

day, YouTube about it, blog about it,

24:15

post about it, interview about it,

24:20

research it, think, you know, all that. stuff, man.

24:23

It's like we're consumed with,

24:23

you know, the whole idea there.

24:27

Even me, like it was a year over a year

24:27

after I was sitting on a Friday night in

24:33

my weekly Friday show with chafee and,

24:33

and, uh, carnivore quest and carnivore

24:38

Kip and, and no, no carb life with Dave.

24:41

Matt, we were all just

24:41

sitting there having a normal

24:44

conversation as we always do. And they got to talking about hernias.

24:49

And, you know, you can see if you go

24:49

back and watch and I don't remember

24:52

which episode or what day it was,

24:52

but like, they were talking about

24:56

it and all of a sudden it hit me. I was like, oh my gosh, I never even

24:57

realized I used to have this softball

25:04

size like hernia above my diaphragm.

25:08

Right here, like a hiatal hernia. It used to poke out when I lay

25:10

down, I could actually do like I'm

25:13

doing a sit up and it would poke

25:13

out the size of a softball, bro.

25:18

It stopped my, it impeded

25:18

my breathing somewhat.

25:22

And I asked, I even went to the

25:22

doctor about it and he was like,

25:25

you know, there's, you know, most of

25:25

the time it doesn't require surgery.

25:28

We'll just keep an eye on it. If it causes any other medical

25:30

issues, then we'll deal with it.

25:33

Well, as time rocked on,

25:33

I'm over here curing the non

25:37

alcoholic fatty liver disease. I'm dropping weight.

25:39

Like it's, it's astonishing to me. I'm in disbelief.

25:43

Like I'm reversing the type two diabetes.

25:45

My sleep apnea is getting better. I'm coming off my blood pressure.

25:48

It's like so many things are happening. The mental health is gone.

25:52

Um, you know, all those

25:52

things are happening.

25:56

And like, I just never thought about

25:56

the hernia, like, I just, it just didn't

26:00

occur to me to even think about it

26:00

until we were having that conversation.

26:05

And we're talking to almost a year

26:05

and a half later, they're talking

26:08

about it and you can just see it. I'm like, you know, I just grab it.

26:12

Like, oh my gosh, I didn't, I've been

26:12

talking about this all this time.

26:16

And I never even realized, you know,

26:16

So there's so much you're going to

26:21

experience and see that, you know,

26:21

it's, it's amazing, especially for those

26:27

like myself who had so many different

26:27

issues that needed to be worked on.

26:32

Yeah, the weight loss is great. It's phenomenal.

26:36

Some people experience it slower

26:36

than others, but I can assure you

26:40

beyond a shadow of a doubt, 100

26:40

percent facts, the weight loss.

26:45

Is will become the secondary issue

26:45

at some point if you stick with it.

26:52

Yeah, I, I had the same thing happen.

26:54

I got to watching Dave Mack and he

26:54

started talking about plantar fasciitis

26:59

and that was the first time I had

26:59

realized it in that video when he was

27:02

talking about, I was like, wait a minute. I've had this for years and I

27:04

realized it's just gone away and I,

27:08

and I didn't miss it because it was,

27:08

it was horrible and not having, it

27:12

was great, but I just, I just was

27:12

astonished that I no longer had it.

27:17

And I didn't realize it until

27:17

somebody brought it, you know, until

27:19

Dave Mack brought it up in a video. And I was like, wait a minute. Yeah.

27:22

Where did my plantar fasciitis go? That's how my back pain was.

27:25

People were talking about, I was

27:25

like, yeah, no, I think about it.

27:27

I haven't, uh, used my

27:27

foam roller or had, uh.

27:31

Use a tens unit on my back

27:31

in months since I started.

27:36

And how much is that worth? What kind of prostate

27:39

can you put on that, bro?

27:41

Man. Cause, uh, every day, you know,

27:42

if it wasn't my IBS or my sleep

27:45

apnea, it was, it was my back then.

27:47

So what little energy I did

27:47

have, it was being drained.

27:51

Like I compared to like someone putting a

27:51

little tap in the tree for, uh, for syrup.

27:56

And it just, it may not be a lot,

27:56

but it, that, that energy drip,

28:00

it just affects you after a while. And I feel like with carnivore, uh,

28:01

even like a floaty, I've, I've sealed

28:06

the hole back up and now it's starting

28:06

to fill back up the way it should.

28:09

And I'm not always constantly

28:09

losing this drip of energy.

28:15

Yeah, I think that, um, In

28:15

addition to having motivation,

28:19

like I was talking about getting

28:19

my motivation back in my drive.

28:22

Now, when I go out in the yard,

28:22

I was thinking post holes.

28:24

I was talking about this last week

28:24

and using a post hole digger, which

28:27

is a lot of work and a pickaxe

28:27

because I'm in Texas and four inches

28:30

down, you're in bedrock, right? You're in a limestone.

28:33

And the next day I would have been wiped

28:33

out if I did that, I did one post hole.

28:38

The next day I'd be on that couch for

28:38

six hours, just wiped out next day.

28:41

I popped up ready to do another one. I had no soreness.

28:44

It's amazing. I mean, that's. I mean, all my life I've been an

28:46

athlete and I've always had soreness

28:50

and I had to work through my

28:50

delayed onset of, you know, my DOMS.

28:53

And now it's just like,

28:53

it's like a cheat code.

28:56

It's like I'm playing Mario with a cheat code now. It's amazing.

29:00

That's right. What about you, Brian?

29:05

Um, so, you know, kind of piggybacking

29:05

on what Larry was saying, the whole thing

29:10

with doing something and feeling sore.

29:13

Um, I used to work out quite a bit

29:13

and I was, that guy was in the gym

29:18

that had like the ankle braces,

29:18

the knee braces, wrist braces, you

29:23

know, just, I looked ridiculous.

29:25

Right. And, and I had to do that

29:26

because I was always sore.

29:29

It, I was sore doing the weights and

29:29

I was sore the next day and so forth.

29:33

Now I don't wear any type

29:33

of braces and I'm not sore.

29:38

I, I'm not sore an hour

29:38

afterwards or anything.

29:42

Like I used to be not alone the next day.

29:45

Um, there's, there's just,

29:45

I'm not sore anymore.

29:47

It's crazy. And I'm, and I'm a person that

29:48

had a lot of joint pain and I had

29:53

arthritis in my big toes and so forth.

29:55

And And none of that happens.

29:58

It's incredible. Yeah, brian, I actually had a

30:00

service disability and my whole left

30:05

leg was jacked up from an injury. And I was out doing wind sprints

30:07

last week up a hill at 57 years

30:14

old and just like getting after

30:14

it like I used to in high school.

30:18

I, I, so not only is it not getting

30:18

sore, but I have like, I can do

30:21

things physically I couldn't do. I'm sure your lifting

30:22

must be the same, right? Are you lifting differently

30:24

or better than you used to?

30:28

Yeah, I, I mean, and it's funny

30:28

because actually I haven't lifted

30:31

in about a month, so I should really

30:31

be talking about lifting, but, but,

30:34

um, I lift less now than I used

30:34

to, so maybe a couple times a week.

30:40

And before I was like three,

30:40

four times a week and I can

30:44

lift a lot more than I used to. I can go longer than I used to with it.

30:49

Right. And again, there,

30:49

there's just no soreness.

30:54

Outstanding. Outstanding. Well, let's, uh, let's pop a few

30:56

more of these comments in here.

30:59

Um, I'm on the carnivore lifestyle

30:59

for over four months now.

31:02

My weight is going up, which is

31:02

great, but most important, my

31:05

hormones start to work better. Uh, recent, uh, non scale vitreous

31:07

improvement in electrolyte or

31:13

erectile dysfunction, excuse me. Well, that's outstanding.

31:17

You know, there's that's, that's,

31:17

that's, you know, one of the things that

31:21

probably won't be talked about a lot on

31:21

carnivore, you know, channels, but that's

31:24

true, that's one of those things that

31:24

it definitely is going to help with, you

31:28

know, it improves your, your electric,

31:28

your, your, uh, uh, erectile dysfunction,

31:32

but also improves your T levels. I think, uh, I think when you get on

31:34

carnivore to, uh, my wife, she, she,

31:38

she, before she even went on it, man, she

31:38

couldn't stay off me the first two weeks.

31:42

So, uh, The effect travels real

31:42

fast when you get on carnivore.

31:47

Trust me. But I actually woke up with morning

31:50

wood after about 57 is amazing.

31:56

I mean, that's like never, you know what I'm saying? I'm just telling you.

31:59

That's a fact. Yeah. You start giving your body the correct

32:03

nutrients to produce the correct

32:07

level and consistency of the hormones

32:07

that it takes to run your body.

32:11

I mean, it's gotta improve. It's good to see you, Mike.

32:15

Appreciate you, buddy. All right.

32:18

Uh, thank you. Nonscale victory for me.

32:21

I can do a full squat

32:21

without hurting my knees.

32:24

Oh yeah, let's go. Yeah, absolutely.

32:27

That's great. You know, I used to, you know, get in,

32:28

you know, be in the pulling parts off a

32:31

back counter at my work and, and you'd

32:31

squat down to get lower and then you just

32:35

trying to get back up was everything. And now I don't have those issues.

32:38

Man, let's see here.

32:43

I was washing cars this past week and

32:43

I watched, you know, I got a spare car.

32:48

Basically, it's a beater. It's be all the pieces, but, um,

32:49

you know, it's a four cylinder, so

32:53

I'm gonna drive it to the wheels

32:53

fall off, but I'll still watch it

32:56

because you take care of what you got. Right. Um, so I was washing, washing my two cars.

33:01

Then my wife ran to this Walmart to

33:01

pick up some waters and, you know,

33:04

some different things and got a flat.

33:06

So about the time I get done washing the

33:06

cars, I'm about to, it's hot outside.

33:10

I've been out there for a couple of hours. I'm getting ready to jump in the shower.

33:14

Get, Hey, I got a flat tire. I need you to come get me.

33:17

Okay. Well, man, so I'm

33:17

throwing tools in the car.

33:21

I'd take off up the, up the road. It's, you know, about 10 minutes or

33:22

so there's a storm coming, like it's

33:27

still smoking hot outside, you know.

33:30

It's right in the middle of everything

33:30

in Walmart, the busiest part of town.

33:34

People's all around is aggravating.

33:37

What do you do? The bet one of the other non scale

33:39

victors I have to praise is the ability

33:44

to just take hard stuff on and quit

33:44

making excuses and go freaking do it.

33:49

That's one of the biggest things

33:49

that I feel like has changed.

33:52

Used to like, I ain't gonna lie, man. I made excuses.

33:55

I'd find an excuse to put something off

33:55

that I needed to do around the house.

34:00

And like, for whatever reason, man,

34:00

when you get fed up and you get enough

34:04

and you start feeling good and start

34:04

getting the contentment that you can

34:07

get by giving your body what it needs,

34:07

you'll start really seeing changes

34:12

and you'll want to change everything. Like, so you just start with one

34:14

thing, you fix that, you move to the

34:18

next thing and so on and so forth. Well, you know, it's, it's like, for

34:20

whatever reason, man, I promise you

34:25

like attacking the hard stuff first.

34:28

Is like one of the best things I've

34:28

ever tried to practice in doing and I

34:34

think that that's something that I'm

34:34

seeing as a common theme with a lot of

34:38

different people in this space recently

34:38

is just if you want to be successful

34:43

and see some of the non scale victories

34:43

along with the scale victories, learn

34:47

to gravitate to the hard stuff and

34:47

knock it out because once you get that

34:51

done is downhill from there, right?

34:54

Yeah, you should have the easy

34:54

stuff left over then, right?

34:59

Absolutely. Yeah. I just wanted to say, uh, Sean, last time

35:00

you were on, uh, my wife was telling me

35:05

on the comments on Friday that there was a

35:05

troll in there, a couple of them, and they

35:08

were, uh, saying some things about you. And I apologize.

35:11

I didn't see that. It's so hard to see the comments and

35:12

stuff, you know, and I just want to say

35:15

it for people watching the live streams. Um, it happened twice now to Brett

35:17

and, and, and it happened to you.

35:21

I don't mind when people say things about

35:21

me, really doesn't bother me, but, Uh,

35:24

when they start saying things about my

35:24

friends, that's that kind of annoys me.

35:28

So I did want to apologize for that I

35:28

would I didn't know that there I just I

35:32

didn't know there were those comments but

35:32

if people are watching and your goal is

35:36

to follow these carnivore live streams

35:36

to Try to tear us down or you don't like

35:40

the fact that we study god That's on you.

35:44

And I just I just had one thing for

35:44

those people that uh do have a bad

35:48

attitude Towards god and carnivore.

35:51

Uh, I just read this morning this book

35:51

Oh The richest man who ever lived.

35:57

And there's a part in here. I just, just real short here.

35:59

Uh, it says there are 31 days in the month

35:59

and there are 31 chapters in the biblical

36:04

book of Proverbs every day at the start

36:04

of each day, read the chapter in Proverbs

36:09

that corresponds to that particular date. Read two chapters on the last day

36:11

of the month that have only 30 days.

36:15

Do that every day for

36:15

a month after a month.

36:17

I will guarantee you within two years,

36:17

you'll be smarter than all your bosses.

36:21

You guys. Read the Bible and your attitudes

36:22

and stop trying to tear people down.

36:27

You know what I'm saying? So, and I apologize that I didn't

36:28

see that troll in the comments, Sean.

36:31

I just wanted to bring it up. Hey man, I don't hold it against you, man.

36:33

Cause I didn't, I don't see him either, man. There's always somebody with something

36:35

negative to say, but I got receipts.

36:39

You know, I don't, I got

36:39

receipts for what I did.

36:42

My health is the best

36:42

it's ever been in my life.

36:45

My, I'm, you know, seeing success

36:45

like I've never seen it before.

36:49

And my focus is on one God to stay in

36:49

on track to get to where I want to go in

36:54

life and using his power to get there.

36:56

So you don't have to agree with me. That's cool. I'm not going to force my beliefs

36:58

on you, but at the same time,

37:01

I don't see the trolls either. Because usually the people

37:03

talking the loudest are the ones who ain't doing anything.

37:06

So, yeah, yeah. And we're and don't expect us to censor

37:07

our, uh, our feelings, our beliefs,

37:11

whether it's towards carnivore or

37:11

God, man, don't expect us to censor

37:14

ourselves, um, for the people who do

37:14

want to hear that message because it's

37:18

not worth toning down, um, the message

37:18

for people who are jerks for the people

37:24

who aren't jerks and want the message. So. Just keep being ourselves, guys.

37:28

Keep, keep doing. I'm I'm not, the other thing we

37:30

can do to support other channels

37:34

is, is help do some moderation. We can help, you know,

37:35

go in there and say that.

37:37

I think, uh, chatting with

37:37

carnivores is getting to the point.

37:40

Now I'm going to need a moderator cause

37:40

it's happened now a couple of times.

37:43

Like we get these little hate raids

37:43

and they try to come in there and,

37:46

uh, tell us to eat goat nuts and shit,

37:46

and it's just not, uh, not cool, man.

37:50

I don't go on vegan, you know, really when

37:50

you love yourself and you, you find that

37:55

mental clarity and that peace with God.

37:57

You have no darkness in

37:57

you to spread, you know?

38:01

So I feel like, you know, the closer you

38:01

get to the light, the more you're going

38:05

to feel, uh, the love inside you to spread

38:05

love and you won't be in people's comments

38:09

trying to tear them down because you, you

38:09

actually don't like your life, you know?

38:12

And you, you hate the fact

38:12

that we enjoy ours, you know?

38:15

Absolutely. And I, and I, like I've said this before,

38:16

man, you know, I've not met at the vegans.

38:20

Well, I wish you all the best

38:20

if you're if you're happy with

38:23

what's going on with your life. That's your decision.

38:25

You got to decide. I'm not 100 percent right on everything.

38:28

I don't claim to be, you know,

38:28

but I'm also, you know, I'm not

38:32

getting so riled up about a certain

38:32

issue or somebody else's belief.

38:35

I'm out here making videos about him

38:35

and trying to tear him down either.

38:39

More power to you. You believe what you want to believe.

38:41

I believe what I want to believe

38:41

and let people judge for herself.

38:44

And if you want what I got

38:44

more than happy, jump in.

38:46

I'll be more than happy to tell you about it. Yeah. Not cool.

38:49

Let's keep doing our thing. I just interviewed Sue yesterday and she

38:51

wasn't, she's an ex vegan, so there's

38:55

no reason to fight with vegans because

38:55

more than likely they'll probably,

38:59

um, share our beliefs one day once

38:59

they get rid of their own beliefs.

39:03

So I just want to say in the meantime,

39:03

though, while we have different

39:06

beliefs, there's no reason to tear

39:06

each other down, especially for

39:09

someone, um, You know, being a God

39:09

fearing person, that's just, uh, it's

39:13

just not going to fly on my watch. If I see it again, the

39:15

next person gets banned.

39:17

And if there is anybody out there who

39:17

wants to help John and Sean, everybody

39:21

else be a moderator, um, just to

39:21

keep things, you know, uh, friendly,

39:26

then, um, reach out to everybody. Absolutely.

39:29

I appreciate that, man. But I agree.

39:33

I agree. You know, whether you're doing

39:34

carnivore, you're doing keto war,

39:38

if you're doing keto or paleo or,

39:38

or whatever it is, this is an open

39:42

community and we're here to hear it. Now, if you're going to get, you're

39:44

going to get stupid in the chat and

39:46

get ridiculous, you know, then you'll

39:46

find your way to the door, you know, by

39:50

yourself or, you know, or forcefully. Um, and that's true in life.

39:53

You know, there's too many people that can hide behind screens and try to talk garbage.

39:58

But you know, none of

39:58

us have time for that.

40:00

And none of us wanted

40:00

to have to endure that.

40:02

So you can count me in to come

40:02

help you on your, on your chats.

40:07

You know, if I'm available, I'll

40:07

jump in there and help moderate

40:10

your chats, you know, and, and

40:10

be looking for stuff like that.

40:12

And we will, uh, we

40:12

will show them the door.

40:18

I don't mind constructive criticism. If somebody, if somebody wants to

40:19

challenge what I'm saying and wants

40:23

to have constructive criticism

40:23

with me outstanding, let's get

40:26

in here and we'll talk about it. But if you're just going to be a

40:27

troll and spread crap and talk, you

40:31

know, encouraged and be garbage. Out the door you go.

40:34

I got no time for that. Yeah. And I really don't mind

40:36

people saying it to me, man.

40:38

But when you say it to my guests

40:38

and my friends, I'm like, dude,

40:41

you just crossed the line. My guy, I'm not going to stand for that.

40:44

I've always been the guy who when

40:44

I see kids get bullied in school,

40:47

I've always stepped up and I say,

40:47

you really looking for a fight?

40:50

Because I I'm looking, man, I'm itching.

40:52

I've been looking for a guy like you

40:52

who's just running your damn mouth

40:55

and not them trying to fight them. But I'm just saying in high

40:56

school, I never liked a bully.

40:58

I always wanted to stand up to a bully.

41:00

And help other people who are being

41:00

bullied and uh, every time I never

41:04

had to fight one of those bullies

41:04

because they weren't actually a bully.

41:07

They were just a big, big jaw flapper

41:07

and uh, that's usually what they are.

41:13

Most of the time. Uh, let's, let's get some of

41:14

these comments knocked out here.

41:17

We got, uh, a meeting wellness says,

41:17

Hey JT, nice to see you on a live.

41:21

How you doing? Nice to see you too.

41:24

Um, Bypass Carnivore. Happy Sunday everyone.

41:27

Bypass Carnivore's got a, got a channel.

41:30

She's starting. She's been struggling

41:30

with getting it going. If you guys get a chance, you

41:32

should definitely, uh, um, you

41:36

know, check out her channel. Uh, you know, Bypass Carnivore.

41:39

Go ahead and put your link in the comments here. Anybody that's got a, a Carnivore

41:41

channel, Please list it in here.

41:44

I, I know some of you got carnivore

41:44

names on your, on your thing, but

41:47

I don't know if you actually have a

41:47

channel or if you just go in by that.

41:50

So if you actually have a YouTube

41:50

channel that you're actively doing

41:53

on, please put a link in here and

41:53

we'll give you a shout out if we can.

41:57

Um, and then of course, questions,

41:57

put a cue before because we're

42:00

going to be looking for that and

42:00

then, you know, non scale victory.

42:03

A carnivore. Charlotte's got a question with

42:04

no cue, but it's a good question.

42:07

It is. Where is it at? What's the time? 1141.

42:10

Near the bottom, yeah.

42:14

Charlotte Osgood. Did I miss it?

42:18

Charlotte Osgood is... Facebook.

42:22

Oh, it's Facebook. I wonder if you... You can still bring it up, right?

42:24

Yep. Oh, it's on Facebook. Yeah, it should be towards the bottom of

42:26

the list, like the second last comment.

42:29

John. Oh, well, you can see it now.

42:33

All right. So, Charlotte is my daughter, is

42:33

my wife's daughter, by the way.

42:36

So, oh, okay. What is, what is the Carver diet?

42:40

How do you eat to this diet to

42:40

get the best results for weight

42:43

loss and better your life overall?

42:46

Well, Charlotte, you can definitely

42:46

reach out to your mom or me and we

42:49

can, we can definitely talk about that. Um, but just to give you a, uh,

42:51

a brief on it, it is eating meat

42:56

based, um, high protein, high fat.

43:02

Internet drop. The devil's at work in this thing today.

43:08

Yeah. So he has the worst time.

43:14

Anyways, we're all eating. You're only meeting meat.

43:16

We're not eating vegetables. We've cut the bread. We cut the pasta.

43:19

We cut the rice. We've cut seed oils.

43:22

Um, I've lost 70 pounds in

43:22

the last, uh, seven months.

43:27

Um, your mom is down. What are you down 30 pounds, Leanne?

43:33

No, she's enormous. Got her ear buds in. Um, she's down like 30 pounds right now.

43:37

So, you know, things

43:37

are good on this diet.

43:41

Definitely, uh, just shoot me a message

43:41

on messenger and we'll talk more.

43:45

Yeah, that's cool. I love the family involved.

43:48

My brother, the curiosity, right?

43:52

Yeah. My sister, my brother in

43:52

law, they've all lost weight.

43:54

They're all on board now. My neighbors. I mean, that's why I started

43:56

a YouTube channel because I had I saw the ripple effect.

43:59

I'm like, man, I'm affecting people. I don't know, just from telling

44:01

them about it and them seeing

44:04

results and them starting it. What do you do?

44:06

It's all right. I can't get a single person in

44:07

my family to not only try it.

44:10

They think they literally like

44:10

lecture me on not eating vegetables.

44:14

They'd send me comments about how skinny

44:14

you like, literally my family is so

44:19

negative towards the carnivore diet. And I just, I don't understand

44:21

how moose tracks, ice cream.

44:25

is the way to go and a steak isn't man.

44:27

I just don't understand. So what am I doing wrong guys?

44:33

Any other questions you guys

44:33

have noticed that I missed?

44:35

Um, I haven't seen any questions that you

44:35

missed, but that's, that's the other thing

44:40

I wanted to touch on what you, what, uh,

44:40

what Larry mentioned a while ago as well.

44:44

Um, you know, that's another reason not to

44:44

kick a dead horse or even rehash it, but

44:50

the people that are so negative and got

44:50

bad things to say and, and, and whatever.

44:54

That's the other reason why I don't get tired. I try my best not to get tied up

44:56

in all that junk because there's

45:01

so many people who are hurting. There's so many people

45:03

who are without hope. There's so many people looking for

45:05

the same answers that everybody on

45:08

this panel right here finally found

45:08

that are hurting that need help and

45:13

they don't need to wait to get it. They need it now.

45:16

That's the reason why we

45:16

don't get all focused.

45:19

We don't get off track. Um, you know, because this is the answer

45:20

that people spend a lot of time and a

45:25

lot of years in their life searching

45:25

for and paying good money from doc to

45:29

doctors trying to find and doing all

45:29

kinds of things and it's so simple.

45:34

It's so in it and it doesn't cost you

45:34

a dime more than what you're already

45:38

paying, but to switch your food. So, you know, trying to stay focused on

45:39

on those things is, is, is worth it, man.

45:45

And I'm seeing that. You would not believe the people.

45:47

There are people that subscribe to

45:47

the channel that are in the Facebook

45:51

group that I commuted, uh, community

45:51

that I created that are finding these

45:56

answers, finding help, not only finding

45:56

it, but they're really putting, finding

46:00

meaningful change in their life. Uh, Brian's in there.

46:04

He's seen it. John's in there. Some of you guys are

46:06

welcome to come as well. It's just, it's not a, you know.

46:10

It's not a place for promotion. It's not a place for anything

46:11

other than helping other

46:14

carnivores, Ketovor, support group.

46:17

Yeah. It's not about YouTube because in

46:18

all honesty, this YouTube is great.

46:22

It's a great platform. But at the end of the day,

46:23

it's where the rubber meets the

46:26

road, where real life happens. You can really communicate with

46:27

real people to bring real change.

46:31

And that's what it's all about. That's where I've stumbled into and

46:33

found, you know, Facebook group called

46:37

Sean, uh, carnivorous community.

46:39

Carnivorous community. I thought it'd be like intentional,

46:44

uh, uh, thoughts or something

46:48

like, uh, intentional

46:48

connections or something, right?

46:52

I got a question for you guys, because

46:52

for me, I never ever of my whole life

46:57

until last month, decide, thought

46:57

about starting a YouTube channel.

47:00

And the only reason I did is because of this. Now I know you JT, you had one,

47:02

but I mean, the rest of you guys,

47:05

were you ever considering doing

47:05

YouTube before or any kind of

47:09

social media as a influencer before?

47:16

Yes, I actually, I had a channel

47:16

that was around sports and I did some

47:22

sports related videos and so forth.

47:26

I actually had a little bit

47:26

of a podcast going with that.

47:29

Um, but then when I kind of got more into

47:29

carnivore and I was like, I think it's

47:34

time to start promoting the carnivore diet

47:34

and you know, what benefits I've seen.

47:40

I just kind of scrapped that and

47:40

I haven't really done anything

47:44

with that channel at all anymore. So I started at the

47:46

carnivore channel brand new.

47:51

Hey, John, there was

47:51

a question going back.

47:54

Um, 12 38 p. m.

47:56

from peachy, Pam, there's a

47:56

question for JT about the book.

48:01

One sec. I'm looking for it here

48:01

while you look for that.

48:04

I'll answer the question. No, I did carnivore for over almost a

48:05

complete year and had seen what right

48:12

at 200 pounds of weight loss before

48:12

I ever started a YouTube and I was,

48:17

I was, I was perfectly fine with.

48:20

Just, uh, just doing what I was doing

48:20

because I was, I was being able to

48:24

reach people and help people that way. YouTube just offered a bigger

48:26

platform and a different way to do it.

48:30

And I do like talking with people. I do like, um, the setting of being

48:31

able to get on here and create

48:35

content and make videos, which

48:35

I haven't been doing a lot of.

48:38

Um, so I think it opens the platform

48:38

up, gives me a wider base audience.

48:43

I can reach all around the world,

48:43

you know, and talk and whatnot.

48:49

So, but no, I didn't, I didn't plan

48:49

on starting a YouTube and honestly,

48:53

it's not even, I love it, but it's

48:53

not even my mind, my main focus.

48:57

Now I love it. I want to see it grow.

48:59

I want to see it get bigger. I want to see it do well, but

49:00

my main focus is seeing real

49:04

people make real change 100%. And that's what it's all about for me.

49:08

And I make a lot of

49:08

decisions based on that.

49:11

Yep. The Lord blessed us with, you know,

49:13

just to keep spreading the message.

49:16

Didn't mean to cut you off, Larry. Sorry. Oh, it's okay, man. I actually have reached like veterans

49:18

all over the world from different armies

49:23

and navies and air forces and they're

49:23

reaching out to me because they're, you

49:26

know, each one of us has a unique set of.

49:29

skills and personality to, um,

49:29

link with other people, right?

49:33

Like, uh, you guys can relate to other

49:33

people that I can't, and I can relate to

49:37

people you guys can't, and I think it's,

49:37

you know, we're part of a global front

49:42

and by all of us activating that we would

49:42

come like, like a military force, kind

49:46

of like we're going to change the world. Uh, so I mean, I would never have met

49:48

these people or influenced them or, you

49:52

know, heard their stories or, you know,

49:52

shared their victories and their failures.

49:56

And this is so amazing that

49:56

this allows us to do that.

49:59

It's a, it's an amazing thing to me.

50:01

So it's been a life

50:01

changing in just a month.

50:04

It really is. And thank you for your service too, man.

50:07

I do want to say that too. Oh, and no problem, man.

50:10

I'm retired now. I'm done. But I have a new mission now.

50:14

That's right. Mission Carnivore. Carnivore.

50:16

That's it. Yeah, let's go. Yeah, that's what I call this interview.

50:20

Mission Carnivore, man. My brother's retired.

50:24

My brother was retired 18 Delta. He's, he's, uh, so he, he was in the

50:26

military medically retired now as well.

50:33

Yeah, he was, he was a green braid. He was, he was, he was something,

50:35

he was a tough little dude, man.

50:38

He's always been like that. Um, so there's a lot of those guys that

50:39

I've come to know and get fellowship

50:43

with and, and I appreciate you guys, man.

50:46

And, and the work that y'all put

50:46

in, same thing with EMS for me, man.

50:50

I actually was talking to somebody

50:50

yesterday that was a medic that was on

50:53

the channel, um, you know, commenting.

50:56

And I just appreciate those people putting

50:56

in that work, putting in the service to

50:59

our country and in the service in the

50:59

streets, man, the fire, fire, you know,

51:04

police and law enforcement, uh, excuse

51:04

me, EMS fire and law enforcement on

51:10

the streets here putting in work, man. That's these people are going

51:12

through stuff like most people

51:15

would never even dream about. So I, I get my hats off to all of you.

51:20

The book is called, um, the

51:20

richest man who ever lived.

51:24

If you're wondering, then we can

51:24

move on to the next question there.

51:27

Great book. Uh, Carrie just bought it for me and, uh,

51:27

he said it's his favorite book to read.

51:31

And I said, if he likes it, it's also

51:31

one of the books my coach recommends.

51:34

So it was cool that, uh, I got one of

51:34

those books on my coach's list too.

51:39

So I said, if it's good for Carrie

51:39

and my coach, I'm all about it.

51:44

Primal Mike here says he needs,

51:44

he basically needs a dating

51:47

service to meet other carnivores. I think there's actually a group for

51:49

that on, I think there's actually

51:51

a group for that on Facebook. I was searching groups on, for

51:53

carnivore the other day and I'm

51:56

pretty sure I saw a Facebook group

51:56

that was based around dating.

51:59

So you might look into that. It's the meeting place.

52:02

I'm on it. Cause I'm single. So everyone, your partner,

52:03

Virginia, you know, it's like,

52:08

okay, that's not going to do me. I'm in Texas, you know, and

52:09

even if you're in Texas, that

52:12

can be four or five hours away. So, yeah.

52:15

Hey, if she's a sugar mama, man,

52:15

and she wants to spend that plane

52:17

money, tell her, come on down. Price is right.

52:21

I'll cook a steak. Yes. Right.

52:24

He did. I'll get the grill going. And that probably won't work.

52:29

Yeah, this, this whole panel and

52:29

everybody on here, this stream, like,

52:33

God has brought us all together for

52:33

a reason to, to mingle, to share

52:36

information, to connect, to subscribe,

52:36

to comment, to like, to share.

52:40

Like, we're here for a reason, folks. Mm hmm.

52:43

Absolutely. Good night. Get them, get them.

52:46

Good night, Boulder Carnivore. Yeah, take care.

52:48

We might have missed him. He might have already left,

52:50

but we're, I'm way back in the

52:53

chat here trying to go through. It goes quick when you're doing that's

52:55

how you miss some of the trolls.

52:58

Sometimes it's just so damn loaded

52:58

with comments Yeah, it's all good.

53:05

Actually That's what's up What kind

53:05

what kind of goals you guys got like

53:12

what do you guys see this thing going

53:12

for y'all in the next five years?

53:15

Because this is a non scale victory for

53:15

us, too I don't know if you guys catch on

53:19

to that being able like, you know, some

53:19

of you had youtube channels, whatever

53:23

like For after starting this after

53:23

carnivore and talking about carnivore,

53:27

which is what we're all sitting here

53:27

doing now, this is a non scale victory

53:31

because it took us getting on carnivore. And this is a result from that.

53:34

Because I can assure you if carnivore

53:34

had no work that we wouldn't

53:39

be on here talking about it. Right? So what do you guys see this

53:40

going for y'all in 5 years?

53:45

To the moon, to the moon, man.

53:49

I honestly, I, um, for me, um, I,

53:49

uh, I was in a different niche.

53:54

I was in the family niche and, um, I,

53:54

for me, like, uh, it, there's no money in

54:01

carnivore, so I've taken a lot of like,

54:01

uh, downward hit, you know, since I went

54:06

to the carnivore, um, scene, like, uh,

54:06

my, my old subscribers didn't, they don't

54:11

really like the content and that's okay. Cause, um, we can always have

54:13

fun, but this is too important.

54:18

To, uh, to not beat the drum. And I was, I honestly, man, five years,

54:20

10 years, 20, the rest of our life.

54:24

I think this is a lifelong mission

54:24

and making this documentary.

54:29

And then once it's out, I mean, then the

54:29

info is going to be out there and that's

54:34

when we actually need to go harder. There's going to be more people

54:35

to organize more people to, to

54:38

help join the movement and we

54:38

can keep pushing this further.

54:41

So I, the next five years, man,

54:41

I see all of us extremely busy.

54:47

Being filled with a lot of

54:47

positivity, having a lot of

54:50

good friends in our life, man. I see just, I see the documentary getting

54:51

out there and helping change this culture.

54:56

I see farmers getting more

54:56

action than Walmart parking lots.

55:01

You know what I'm saying? Like I see a lot of good things for,

55:01

for the rest of our life, actually.

55:06

Yeah. For me, uh, I mean, the, the,

55:09

the veteran mental health crisis.

55:15

is terrible. Yes. And I t diet greatly contributes

55:16

that my mental health imp so rapidly.

55:25

I mean, we're not months, so rapidly

55:25

th know, 22 veterans a day t America.

55:32

We've all heard I think I

55:32

want to make a dent on that.

55:36

I want to get this out and I'm getting

55:36

out to active duty and veterans right now.

55:39

And that's my mission. That's mission carnivore for me.

55:42

So I think the next five, 10 years, man,

55:42

if I save one person's life by sharing

55:45

this to them, that's that's painful, but

55:45

I guarantee you'll be more than that.

55:49

It'll be more than one life. So that's my mission.

55:52

That's why that's what I'm all about. Let's get that number down to zero.

55:56

Yeah, I'd love it. No, seriously, man. Nothing, nothing's impossible out here.

55:59

It's nothing hard to believe, but I

55:59

mean, I did 20 years and I've lost.

56:04

more friends and associates to suicide

56:04

than combat, even in all the wars.

56:08

It's just, that's just the way I think

56:08

most people will tell you that unless

56:11

they're on a real, you know, frontline,

56:11

like maybe the 18 series lose more.

56:15

In combat, but I didn't. And, uh, my experience is

56:16

suicide was way more common.

56:20

Even in, even as a first responder in EMS,

56:20

man, the last year that I was a medic,

56:24

two of the, my coworkers, I think it was

56:24

two that I think it was in the same year.

56:29

I know for a fact, two of

56:29

them committed suicide.

56:32

And so it's, it's the

56:32

first responders too, man.

56:35

And, and, you know, I hear,

56:35

I hear the stories about it.

56:38

I've seen it. Um, you know, and, and, and like you

56:39

said, the mental health, not just with

56:43

the, the military, which is absolutely,

56:43

uh, uh, a pressing big issue, man.

56:49

But with home on the streets here too.

56:52

And I think it's sad that of all the

56:52

people that need help in this country.

56:57

You know, the people who are on the

56:57

front lines, defendant, the military,

57:00

the fire, the EMS, you know, whatever,

57:00

um, the, like they need real change,

57:07

real help in every program that I saw

57:07

when I was on the street as a medic

57:11

come through from administration

57:11

down was a big freaking joke.

57:14

It was, it was a big CYA event

57:14

where I got a question for you.

57:19

When you help most people as a first

57:19

responder, was a lot of them, uh, drug

57:23

overdoses more than actual accidents?

57:26

Like someone accidentally sticking

57:26

their heart, their hand in

57:29

something or getting hit by a car? Was most of them drug?

57:32

There was a lot of drugs, man. There was a lot of overdoses, but

57:33

there was also a lot of accidents too.

57:37

Yeah. Nowadays. Yeah. There's a lot of drugs,

57:39

man, but it's the addiction.

57:42

It's the, it's the depression, man. And then you.

57:44

Because I had a friend and she said when

57:44

she went on to be a first responder,

57:48

she said she thought she was going to be

57:48

helping all these people and she mostly

57:51

was just trying to get people, um, to

57:51

come back to life from being overdosed.

57:57

And she's like, it's just not the job she

57:57

thought she was signing up for, you know,

58:02

and it's just, there's so this, this diet

58:02

can even help help me stop smoking pot.

58:07

So I'm sure it can help someone get off of. drugs.

58:10

It can help someone not have those. I had the negative thoughts too

58:12

of not being here and I'm glad

58:15

I didn't act on any of them. So I think we should get that number

58:16

to zero, uh, for, for military and

58:21

every is, is best we can, man, you

58:21

know, it's, it's a great cause.

58:29

So we got a question here. It says, since y'all have been

58:30

on carnivore, have any of you

58:33

had an incident where you had

58:33

have gained some weight back?

58:37

I've been carnivore since

58:37

January 22nd of 2023.

58:41

I've lost 88 pounds. I was once, uh, oh, mad until last week.

58:45

And then he says, I've gained

58:45

seven pounds since I went to mad.

58:49

I gained some weight back. Muscle weight, baby.

58:52

Yeah. . Yeah.

58:54

I, I am, I gained about five

58:54

pounds back at one point.

59:01

Everybody show gun. So, yeah, we guys, we have been in all

59:05

full disclosure, , welcome to the Gun

59:11

Show, . So, Uh, that brings up the point

59:11

is, is it's not all about the weight loss.

59:18

And so you're getting

59:18

healthier and fat, right?

59:20

So you, we wanna lose

59:20

body fat, not muscle guys.

59:23

So when you just say losing

59:23

weight on the scale, you don't

59:25

wanna just lose weight, man. If you're losing muscle weight,

59:26

you wanna lose body fat.

59:29

Ce fat you wanna lose.

59:31

Yeah. Visceral fat. Yeah, exactly. And if you're gaining muscle

59:33

and burning fat, who cares?

59:35

If the scale goes up,

59:35

man, you're in beast mode.

59:38

The other thing that you gain and

59:38

a lot of people don't take into

59:41

consideration is bone density. A lot of us, because of the lack of

59:43

nutrients in our diet, our bones were

59:47

actually not very dense and very brittle.

59:50

And by being on this diet, you

59:50

know, over six months, your

59:53

bone density has increased. So yeah, you're going to

59:55

have a stop in weight loss.

59:57

You may even have a little bit

59:57

of a creep up in weight loss.

1:00:01

But then once I was there

1:00:01

for a couple of weeks.

1:00:04

I shot back down and now

1:00:04

I'm five pounds below that.

1:00:07

So, I mean, don't ever get discouraged

1:00:07

by the scale because the scale's a liar.

1:00:11

Um, yeah, it's not giving you a true

1:00:11

reflection of your overall health.

1:00:15

Did Steve say that he was a

1:00:15

lion diet or just carnivore?

1:00:19

I didn't see that it's, 'cause

1:00:19

here's one thing that happened to me.

1:00:21

I got to a stopping point where

1:00:21

I hit 250 pounds and level.

1:00:24

I went from two 80 to two 50 and I was

1:00:24

there for, uh, probably four weeks.

1:00:28

I was still losing some fat. My weight waistline was getting smaller.

1:00:32

I had to throw another belt away. But then I decided, well, I'm going

1:00:33

to, I was there for a month and I'm

1:00:37

like, I'm going to try lion diet for.

1:00:40

Uh, just to see what it does. And as soon as I did that in three

1:00:41

weeks, I was down 14 more pounds.

1:00:44

It just melted off. So removing dairy and alcohol, I think

1:00:45

was the thing that did it for me.

1:00:49

So something else you could

1:00:49

look at tweaking your diet once

1:00:52

you've been on for a while. Not right away, but once you've

1:00:54

been on for a while, yeah.

1:00:56

Drop the booze, it's just

1:00:56

going to lose for sure.

1:01:01

Dairy can definitely cause a weight

1:01:01

stall or a weight gain as well.

1:01:05

So we're the only species that drinks milk

1:01:05

after their, their, uh, infants are born.

1:01:11

You know, it's like, I never heard that before. And I was like, wow, really?

1:01:14

Like we're the only species that

1:01:14

drinks another species milk.

1:01:18

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Think about that one.

1:01:22

You know, you never see anybody,

1:01:22

you know, break it into the barn.

1:01:25

You don't get a fox break it into

1:01:25

the barn to go suckle off off the

1:01:28

cow because that doesn't happen. Yeah. Yeah.

1:01:32

No, that's very true. It's it's the more you

1:01:33

look at all this stuff.

1:01:35

It's wild. Like I just learned to like they're

1:01:36

bleaching the eggs at the store.

1:01:40

That's why they don't taste as

1:01:40

good as the farm fresh eggs.

1:01:42

They're bleaching them. What the shoot is, you know, when

1:01:43

you actually learn about all this

1:01:46

stuff, you think how unbalanced

1:01:46

we are in our food system.

1:01:51

It's, there's a lot of

1:01:51

work to be done guys.

1:01:54

Yeah. I think guys real quick, if you've got

1:01:55

a sec guys, if you've got a question,

1:01:59

please put a cue in front of it. It's gonna make it easier for me to find.

1:02:02

We got a lot of comments in here. I'm, we're not going to be able to get

1:02:03

to every single one of the comments.

1:02:06

Uh, so if you got a question you want

1:02:06

answered, please put a Q in front of it.

1:02:10

And, um, you know, if I miss

1:02:10

you in here, I do apologize.

1:02:13

I'm trying to pull out stuff. Um, so we appreciate all you guys.

1:02:17

We got 47 in the chat right

1:02:17

now, which is awesome.

1:02:20

Make sure you hit the like button, hit

1:02:20

the subscribe button on whatever channel

1:02:24

you're on and then flip over and hit

1:02:24

all the ones, the rest of us later.

1:02:27

If you can, um, we appreciate it. Um, I personally just hit 500

1:02:29

subscribers yesterday and I

1:02:34

picked up a whole bunch today. Um, and these guys all, you

1:02:35

know, need the love too.

1:02:38

So make sure you're out there helping them out. And, uh, we got, uh, Crypto

1:02:40

Carnivore, some experience for me.

1:02:45

They were discussing carpal

1:02:45

tunnel resolution and I

1:02:48

realized mine was gone too. Um, yeah, and I'm looking at this

1:02:50

brings it up and you're like, holy shit.

1:02:55

They're right. Yeah. I got something to say about,

1:02:58

uh, liking and subscribing too.

1:03:01

So I don't know how you all were

1:03:01

introduced to this diet, but I was just

1:03:05

on YouTube and I was not doing any diet. Wasn't searching for diet.

1:03:09

And, and Dante Fragno's 120 day lion

1:03:09

diet video popped up and I followed that.

1:03:15

And that's what took me down the

1:03:15

rabbit hole and changed my life.

1:03:18

The only reason that video popped up

1:03:18

is because someone liked and subscribed

1:03:22

to someone stranger out there. I'll never meet that. I wish I could thank because

1:03:24

they changed my life.

1:03:26

So. If you're not going to become a

1:03:27

YouTube content creator, that's fine.

1:03:30

But do you do get this video

1:03:30

in front of the people?

1:03:33

And the way you do that is

1:03:33

liking, subscribing, gets it

1:03:35

picked up by the algorithm. So you can get into the fight.

1:03:38

You can be part of this battle without

1:03:38

actually being a content creator.

1:03:41

So if you don't regularly like and

1:03:41

subscribe videos, make it a new habit.

1:03:45

It makes a big difference in

1:03:45

someone else's life down the road.

1:03:47

Pay it forward. Yeah. It doesn't cost any money to subscribe

1:03:49

to all of our, all, all five of our

1:03:52

channels and even more channels. And then you get, look at subscribing as

1:03:54

like linking up with a friend and you get

1:03:58

to keep up on their updates and then go in

1:03:58

the comments and then ask them for help.

1:04:03

If you're having a bad day,

1:04:03

like you guys were people.

1:04:06

Okay. Like, uh, if you're having a bad day

1:04:06

too, Put it in one of our comments.

1:04:09

I'm sure, you know, if we see it, we're

1:04:09

going to, uh, hit you back and, and

1:04:13

try to help you out as best we can. Like you take advantage of this, you

1:04:14

know, like subscribe, it's all free, man.

1:04:18

Talk, it's all free. And share it on social media with your

1:04:20

friends, because then there's going to

1:04:24

be a snowball effect and they're going to

1:04:24

watch it and then they're going to like

1:04:27

it and subscribe and share and so forth.

1:04:29

Yeah, people keep talking about the algorithm. Dude, we are the algorithm.

1:04:33

Like, when we like a video, share it. The computer responds to that.

1:04:36

We are the algorithm. The computer doesn't like

1:04:37

and watch and subscribe.

1:04:40

We do that, guys. We are the algorithm, so.

1:04:43

Push it out. Carrie, my dude.

1:04:47

So I guess we all missed the invite

1:04:47

for the, for the, uh, the brisket

1:04:51

stew, but, uh, well, maybe you'll

1:04:51

get us on the next one there.

1:04:57

I'll take you out for some

1:04:57

barbecue or I'll make some

1:04:59

smoke reverse seared steaks. I make some good one.

1:05:02

You know, uh, I am. I'm taking off. I'm taking off Friday the 22nd and I'm

1:05:06

headed to South Carolina to do a meetup

1:05:11

with Sean and a carnival carnivore quest.

1:05:14

And who else is going to be there? Sean? Oh, man.

1:05:16

It's going to be carnivore quest. It's going to be me.

1:05:20

It's going to be, uh, uh, carnivore Kip.

1:05:24

I think it's going to be there. Um, Man, I don't know.

1:05:27

There's supposed to be

1:05:27

possibly ready, sick keto.

1:05:30

I don't know if they're still going to make it or not. Um, carnivore pastor is going to be there.

1:05:36

Um, man, southern key

1:05:36

divorce is going to be there.

1:05:40

I believe it's going to

1:05:40

be a bunch of us, man.

1:05:42

If everybody can make it

1:05:42

and everything goes on.

1:05:45

So hopefully so it's on the schedule.

1:05:48

Now I'll be there. All right.

1:05:51

Carrie sent you a donation, John. Yeah.

1:05:57

I usually prioritize the, uh, super chats.

1:06:01

I didn't know anybody could, I

1:06:01

don't think you, I didn't know

1:06:03

I could get a super chat yet. Oh, okay.

1:06:06

You sure that's for me or that's, that

1:06:06

might be for somebody else's chat.

1:06:08

Might be someone else on it, yeah. Regardless, uh, we appreciate you,

1:06:10

Carrie, for sending, and he put

1:06:13

a question with his 10 bucks, so. Uh, where's that ad in here?

1:06:18

I see that. Uh, it's at 12.

1:06:21

05 p. m. Rick is talking about juicing an iguana.

1:06:29

I love that dude. He does not play around, dude.

1:06:32

That's full carnivore, dude. I'll be impressed if

1:06:35

he drinks iguana milk. Hey, you know, yeah, try the,

1:06:37

tell the vegans you got a new

1:06:40

juice, juicing fast for them. Tell them it's, don't, don't tell them

1:06:42

it's iguana milk after they try it.

1:06:49

I love you, vegans. I know. I'm, I'm just, don't, don't

1:06:50

send me hate mail tonight.

1:06:52

He says at 12. 05. I don't... What is that?

1:06:56

Homestead how? 12. 05. Yeah, I'm not seeing it.

1:07:02

I can see the question. It's gonna be in the starred.

1:07:06

Yeah, go to starred. It's under starred.

1:07:09

Yeah, it'll be in the starred. Super chat automatically go to starred.

1:07:12

Yeah, going to visit. Oh, there we go.

1:07:15

All right, guys. All right. All right. Newbie here.

1:07:17

Sorry. You're all good. All right. Going to visit dad.

1:07:19

We'll catch up later. Love y'all on the path to better health.

1:07:23

Both mind body matters. What's one wisdom nugget you shared

1:07:25

for those consider considering what is

1:07:31

what's one wisdom nugget you'd share for

1:07:31

those considering the carnivore diet.

1:07:36

All right. We'll we'll just do a workaround here.

1:07:38

Larry, we'll start with you. Oh, okay.

1:07:41

Um, one wisdom nugget I would say

1:07:41

is just do it and do it today.

1:07:47

Don't plan. I mean, don't don't sit there and

1:07:48

invest over investigate, overanalyze.

1:07:51

Don't think you have to have all the

1:07:51

answers because really it's so simple.

1:07:55

I mean, we've already said everyone here said it's simple. The easiest thing you could ever do.

1:07:59

Is just eat meat with

1:07:59

salt and drink water.

1:08:03

And if you can handle that thing right

1:08:03

there, you've got 99 just start it.

1:08:09

That's all I got to say. That's the, that's the wisdom I'd say. Just start it, make it simple and

1:08:11

don't try to overcomplicate it.

1:08:13

Don't do macros. Don't do fasting.

1:08:15

Just. Start eating water, salt and meat.

1:08:21

Yeah. Sometimes things aren't easy though.

1:08:24

You know, they're simple, but

1:08:24

they, uh, they're not easy to you.

1:08:27

Do I, my, my, uh, wisdom nugget for,

1:08:27

uh, someone, um, considering the

1:08:32

carnivore diet, uh, consider loving

1:08:32

yourself, consider loving yourself more

1:08:38

than the stuff you're addicted to, you

1:08:38

know, consider loving your mind more

1:08:42

than you love watching mindless TV,

1:08:42

you know, read a book, uh, consider.

1:08:46

Loving your body by drinking water instead

1:08:46

of soda, you know, or, uh, drinking

1:08:51

water instead of booze, just consider

1:08:51

loving yourself and experiencing how

1:08:56

good, uh, loving yourself can feel and

1:08:56

how much, uh, blessings there are for

1:09:02

you to receive when you do love yourself

1:09:02

and love yourself by the decisions you

1:09:06

make, you know, make a good decision.

1:09:08

And like I said, love to learn to

1:09:08

love yourself more than you love an

1:09:11

addiction, honestly, because that

1:09:11

addiction doesn't love you, but.

1:09:15

Um, you love yourself. Yourself. I love you back.

1:09:18

It'll feel good. Sean, my turn.

1:09:24

Ready? Set. Go. No, passion.

1:09:28

Lots of fire. Purpose keeps the fire lit.

1:09:30

Get yourself a purpose. Get yourself a lot.

1:09:33

Get yourself some

1:09:33

direction and get on track.

1:09:37

There's never going to be a good time

1:09:37

to make it, make a change in your life.

1:09:40

You're never going to

1:09:40

get to the motivation.

1:09:42

You're you know, To the point where today's the

1:09:46

day the, you know, the change

1:09:49

is just going to be easy.

1:09:52

It's always going to be hard. You're always going to struggle.

1:09:54

It's always going to suck, but you embrace

1:09:54

it and you move forward because what

1:10:00

you're going to understand is the purpose

1:10:00

for something that's bigger than you.

1:10:04

Is going to be the thing that

1:10:04

gives you the motivation.

1:10:06

You're going to start seeing the changes

1:10:06

and then you're going to, you're going

1:10:09

to be engaged and then you're going to

1:10:09

realize how much bigger it is than you.

1:10:13

And I guess to the extent that you can.

1:10:16

Um, so yeah, a hundred percent,

1:10:16

I'd say, what have you got to lose?

1:10:20

Are you going to like, I

1:10:20

always reference it, man.

1:10:23

And I'm not going to digress forever,

1:10:23

but I do want to mention this.

1:10:27

There was a story in the

1:10:27

Bible where they talk about.

1:10:30

Guys that were sitting outside the

1:10:30

gate is the, uh, uh, uh, foreign

1:10:34

invaders were coming to take over

1:10:34

their cities, but there was a famine

1:10:38

in the city in the inside the gate.

1:10:40

So they were saying to each other,

1:10:40

they said, if we go in here,

1:10:43

we're going to starve to death. And if we sit here, the, the

1:10:45

foreign invaders that are

1:10:48

coming are going to kill us. So.

1:10:51

What do we do? Do we sit here until we die?

1:10:54

And they got up and they took off

1:10:54

a different direction because they

1:10:57

knew that if they just sit here

1:10:57

stagnant, they're just gonna die.

1:11:01

And that's the lesson principle for us.

1:11:03

Don't sit here until you die. Don't sit there thinking about

1:11:05

change or planning for a change

1:11:10

or daydreaming about a change.

1:11:13

Start putting the baby steps in, the

1:11:13

crawling steps in, whatever you gotta do.

1:11:18

One second, one little step

1:11:18

at a time until you see those

1:11:22

changes start being fulfilled. You can 100 percent do it.

1:11:26

You absolutely can do this, but you,

1:11:26

you're never going to do it if you just

1:11:31

sit there without taking any action. Take that step.

1:11:34

Crawl if you got to. Yeah, go, go that other direction, right?

1:11:38

Take that other path and

1:11:38

get the hell out of there.

1:11:41

It doesn't have to be perfect. You just gotta keep doing it.

1:11:44

Consistency is key. Absolutely.

1:11:47

Absolutely. Brian, you got something

1:11:48

you want to throw in there? What you got Brian?

1:11:51

Yeah. So this is a little bit different,

1:11:51

but I feel like it's really,

1:11:54

really important because most

1:11:54

people that quit the carnivore

1:11:58

diet is in the first 30 days or so.

1:12:01

So I would.

1:12:04

Recommend slowly easing

1:12:04

into the carnivore diet.

1:12:07

Don't just jump in on day one, especially

1:12:07

if you are on a very high carb diet right

1:12:13

now, if you eat a lot of carbs and that

1:12:13

is just because what happens when you just

1:12:19

jump in is you have all kinds of issues.

1:12:22

You know, the term, the keto flu, right?

1:12:25

That's a real thing

1:12:25

because of, you know, the.

1:12:28

The organisms in your gut and so forth

1:12:28

and, and when you make a huge change, it

1:12:34

is just very, it's, it basically, you've

1:12:34

got 2 different types of organisms in your

1:12:39

gut and they are going to start fighting

1:12:39

for the type of food that you're eating.

1:12:45

So it is very important to

1:12:45

take three, four weeks to ease

1:12:48

into doing the carnivore diet. So slowly get off of the things

1:12:49

that you've been eating, right?

1:12:54

Try and cut out the sugar as

1:12:54

much as you can right away, but

1:12:57

some of the other carbs slowly

1:12:57

ease into it over a few weeks.

1:13:01

And also if, as you're going, a lot

1:13:01

of people have problems with very

1:13:05

loose stools, problems going to the

1:13:05

bathroom, like crazy for a few weeks.

1:13:10

One thing you can do there as well

1:13:10

is maybe down on the amount of fat,

1:13:17

particularly, um, the liquid fat

1:13:17

that, that you're taking in until

1:13:22

that gets better and then slowly,

1:13:22

um, you know, slowly bring up

1:13:26

more amount of fat into your diet. And that, that's just,

1:13:29

that, that's a huge thing.

1:13:31

I think less people are going to

1:13:31

have problems going into it and

1:13:35

then less people are going to

1:13:35

be quitting the carnivore diet.

1:13:38

And once you get to that 30, 60 days,

1:13:38

that's when you really start to see a

1:13:41

lot of the benefits that we're seeing. And now you're not going to change.

1:13:45

You're, you're not going to go

1:13:45

back and quit because you're

1:13:47

seeing all those benefits. So you're just going

1:13:48

to keep going forward. Just to piggyback on what he said, I

1:13:51

interviewed Rick, uh, 40 year carnivore.

1:13:55

He's been doing carnivore for 40 years,

1:13:55

and he suggests, um, to try keto first.

1:14:00

And then if you like that, go

1:14:00

keto vor and then try carnivore.

1:14:02

But even Rick, uh, at 40 years

1:14:02

carnivore, he does not suggest

1:14:06

going full, full blown right into

1:14:06

carnivore if you're interested in it.

1:14:10

Give your, especially if you've been like

1:14:10

a vegetarian or a vegan or something,

1:14:14

like maybe definitely try keto then.

1:14:16

So that's a, that's a good one, Brian. Excellent.

1:14:21

Excellent. My thoughts on it is, is one,

1:14:22

you know, keep it simple.

1:14:26

You don't need to make this complicated. The great thing about

1:14:28

carnivore is its simplicity.

1:14:32

You're going to eat beef, butter,

1:14:32

bacon, eggs, repeat, and you're just

1:14:36

going to do this and you will learn

1:14:36

what you can do outside of that.

1:14:40

You can, you can learn to add fish. You can learn to add chicken.

1:14:43

You can learn to add other stuff

1:14:43

into your diet, but keep it simple.

1:14:47

Start with the basics. Do your research.

1:14:50

You know, there's a ton of information. You got five great channels

1:14:52

in this chat right now.

1:14:55

They all have great information from

1:14:55

different perspectives and views

1:14:58

on the carnivore diet, but they all

1:14:58

provide, you know, vital information.

1:15:02

And, uh, there's other great channels on there. There's Homestead Howe.

1:15:05

There's Dr. Barry's channel. There's Dr. Baker's channel.

1:15:07

Um, uh, Anthony Chafee's channel.

1:15:10

You know, um, there's, there's, there's

1:15:10

lots of channels out there and they're

1:15:14

all providing a lot of information that it

1:15:14

will help you dial this in for yourself.

1:15:19

And you really got to just immerse

1:15:19

yourself in carnivore and learn so that

1:15:25

as you go through this, you can start. Understanding, you know, the benefits and

1:15:27

how this, how it affects your body and

1:15:32

how the nutrition is important and you,

1:15:32

you, you'll get to a point where you stop

1:15:37

worrying about the weight loss and you

1:15:37

just start focusing on the improved health

1:15:40

and the weight loss is the added benefit. So that would be my little nugget.

1:15:45

Keep it simple. And make sure you do your research so

1:15:47

that you know what you're dealing with.

1:15:49

So you can talk to other people because you're going to have to talk to other people eventually about it.

1:15:52

A lot of us try to avoid the

1:15:52

conversation with, with people.

1:15:56

Um, and that's fine too, but you're

1:15:56

going to talk to your doctor.

1:15:58

You're going to go to your doctor one day and he's going to be like, Hey, how'd you lose 50 pounds?

1:16:02

What have you been doing over the last year? Well, you're going to have to

1:16:04

have that conversation with them and you need to be prepared.

1:16:08

For that conversation so that you can

1:16:08

explain what you're doing and hopefully

1:16:12

sway them to understand it better than

1:16:12

just to have an opinion, like, Oh my

1:16:16

God, you're going to kill yourself. So that would be my, my nugget for this.

1:16:21

Thoughts, research,

1:16:21

definitely do your research.

1:16:24

Yeah. Continue power, man. You there, Larry?

1:16:32

Yeah. Can you hear me? Yeah.

1:16:34

You're just frozen. Oh, I'm actually just sitting still.

1:16:41

Oh, she's been like the guy from,

1:16:41

uh, uh, still, you didn't know, man.

1:16:47

Didn't see it. I'm a, I'm going to put my, my,

1:16:49

uh, my dish up another 10 feet.

1:16:52

Hopefully that'll resolve

1:16:52

my, my internet bumps.

1:16:54

I'm I apologize, but. You know, I do live off

1:16:56

grid, so it is what it is.

1:16:59

Yeah, you're getting your energy

1:16:59

off the, uh, the panels and

1:17:01

stuff, man, so you're doing good. Yeah, well, right now the generator's

1:17:03

running because it's overcasting, cloudy,

1:17:07

and raining out there, and I ain't

1:17:07

making no sun power, so I got, I got

1:17:10

the little generator running out there

1:17:10

providing power to the house today.

1:17:14

Um, let's see, uh, twin maples here

1:17:14

says, uh, feel like I need coaching

1:17:17

on doing an introduction video. Wife and I are both doing car war since

1:17:19

march 6th Just tell you know, you can

1:17:24

reach out you can reach out to any one

1:17:24

of us Uh jt does uh does interviews I do

1:17:29

interviews Um, I know sean does interviews

1:17:29

Larry, are you doing interviews?

1:17:35

Yeah. You mean like coaching stuff? Yeah, just really getting people on

1:17:38

talking about, you know, and stuff.

1:17:41

Actually, I'm starting that I've

1:17:41

only done two live streams and it was

1:17:44

my first two were just solo, but I

1:17:44

want to start bringing you guys on.

1:17:46

So I'd like to reach out to all you guys

1:17:46

and invite you to come to my Wednesday.

1:17:50

Meetup, um, hump Day

1:17:50

meetup sometime for sure.

1:17:53

So I will be doing interviews. Absolutely. Gimme an invite.

1:17:56

And Brian, I think you're doing

1:17:56

some interviews too, aren't you?

1:17:59

Yeah. So you can reach out to us and you can

1:18:00

get interviewed and, and you'll get

1:18:05

some inspiration on, on how to do your

1:18:05

introduction, you know, and stuff.

1:18:08

Uh, and we can have conversations,

1:18:08

you know, just back and forth in

1:18:11

the live, you know, off screen and,

1:18:11

you know, and live to talk about it.

1:18:14

So, you know, feel free

1:18:14

to reach out to any of us.

1:18:17

Um, you can reach me at. Instagram, you can reach me

1:18:18

at Facebook, or you can just

1:18:21

email me at Carnivore Backwoods. Gmail at gmail.

1:18:25

com. Um, and these guys all have, you

1:18:26

know, ways to reach out to them.

1:18:28

So definitely, um, we're

1:18:28

here to help you, buddy.

1:18:32

That's why I started chatting

1:18:32

with carnivores to share stories.

1:18:34

Cause, uh, like Carrie says,

1:18:34

uh, rising tide lifts all ships.

1:18:37

I really believe that. So the more we help other people get

1:18:38

subscribers and get their platform

1:18:42

built, the bigger, all of our

1:18:42

platforms are going to be charging.

1:18:48

Mopar says, who still watches TV?

1:18:50

Where do you find time? I don't watch television. I watch YouTube.

1:18:54

I'm all YouTube, I'm all social media.

1:18:56

My cable's been cut for years. I might check the Packers game out,

1:18:58

but, uh, for a couple minutes, but...

1:19:02

I actually do carnivore movie, uh,

1:19:02

reviews on my YouTube channel though,

1:19:07

so if you guys are looking for a

1:19:07

good documentary, all the reviews are

1:19:10

documentaries that are carnivore related. And they're all free.

1:19:13

I put links to the movies in

1:19:13

the reviews, so you can watch

1:19:16

them whenever you want, so... That's cool.

1:19:20

It's a great service here. I can't wait to do the

1:19:21

carnivore documentary.

1:19:24

For Carrie's. Mm-hmm. . Oh man, it's gonna be great.

1:19:27

I hopefully we call it hope. Oh, I did.

1:19:30

Uh, I did, I did. Tell him that you, I, I said, dude,

1:19:31

I think Sean named the, the doc man.

1:19:34

Like, and he, he man carrie's

1:19:34

words where he said, man, he says,

1:19:39

bro, I've heard 150 suggestions. He's like, that one's by far the best one.

1:19:42

Hope. I was like, yeah, dude, I see

1:19:42

it just flashing in my mind.

1:19:45

So I, man, Sean, I think you

1:19:45

might have just nailed it, man.

1:19:49

That's what's up, man. So good on you. I'm glad I asked that damn

1:19:50

question, you know, like we got it.

1:19:54

That's why it's so important

1:19:54

to get these together, man.

1:19:56

Just who would have thought a Friday

1:19:56

night chat, um, would have got that

1:20:00

golden nugget out of Sean like that,

1:20:00

you know, every once in a while.

1:20:06

So we got a Facebook, we got

1:20:06

a We got a Facebook user here

1:20:09

throwing some love at Sean. He says, uh, uh, you're all great.

1:20:12

Yes. Intentional carver. Sean White has a purpose every single day.

1:20:17

He is definitely intentional

1:20:17

and everything he does.

1:20:20

And, uh, you know, we love Sean. I love you guys too, man.

1:20:24

Glory to God for that, man. Honestly, when I have you on my

1:20:26

interview, anybody talks smack, they're

1:20:29

getting the boot right away, dude. Don't mess with Sean, man.

1:20:33

I'll give you the boot. That's right.

1:20:38

We, we got things to do, man. It's all, I appreciate the comment.

1:20:41

Somebody said, how do I send stars? I have no idea.

1:20:44

I don't know how to do that stuff. I'm trying to figure all that out.

1:20:47

Like I usually don't do the

1:20:47

Facebook streaming, but I was

1:20:51

like, I'm going to do the stream. It would only let me link one and I

1:20:52

already had it hooked up or whatever.

1:20:55

So I don't know how you do it. Um, maybe one day I'll

1:20:57

figure out that stuff.

1:21:00

It is, you know, it does help, but I

1:21:00

appreciate the thought, but hopefully

1:21:03

I'll get it figured out one of these days. We're literally building

1:21:04

the ship as we go.

1:21:07

I think some of us, you know, like

1:21:07

it depends, I guess it depends on

1:21:11

what channel you're watching from. So for the channels that are

1:21:12

monetized, you can send a super chat,

1:21:16

which comes up as a stark comment.

1:21:19

Um, so some of the channels may have that.

1:21:22

I don't currently, I know. So that, that would be, you know,

1:21:24

send a super chat and, and that

1:21:29

comes up as a start comment. Subscribe to the channel.

1:21:31

Let's get them monetized guys, everybody.

1:21:34

It was somebody in the Facebook

1:21:34

group talking about the stars

1:21:38

that you can send from Facebook. Cause I could only, I

1:21:39

couldn't link my YouTube.

1:21:41

It only let me link one link. So I did the, uh, Facebook group.

1:21:45

So we're streaming to the, to the

1:21:45

corner inverse community group and they.

1:21:50

You should be able to send

1:21:50

stars, but I don't know how

1:21:53

to enable them to send stars.

1:21:55

So it is what it is. I got two thumbs up from

1:21:57

Facebook on here so far.

1:22:00

So I don't know if those are stars or not,

1:22:00

but I can see that on my screen over here.

1:22:04

You're doing a good job then John. Um, so twin maples here says, uh, are

1:22:07

any of you using tallow in your cooking?

1:22:13

I rendered down about 12

1:22:13

pounds of beef fat last week.

1:22:16

I have been using that to cook

1:22:16

eggs and steak in versus butter.

1:22:20

Um, I love tallow when I'm

1:22:20

cooking steak on the Blackstone.

1:22:23

Um, it really gives it a good, you know,

1:22:23

a good, uh, crust on the outside edge.

1:22:28

So I, I do use that when I have

1:22:28

it, but, uh, It's a commodity.

1:22:33

I'm not going to go out and buy it. And so unless I come up with

1:22:34

something I can render myself, I

1:22:37

don't have them very much of it. You guys ever, what's that whip tallow?

1:22:43

The I'm going today after this

1:22:43

live stream, I've got a farm.

1:22:47

I'm going to be picking up some meat. She also said she does like

1:22:48

moisturizer whipped tallow.

1:22:53

There's a lot of that out there

1:22:53

and it's good for your skin.

1:22:56

Yeah, yeah, so if you guys, uh, you can't

1:22:56

cook with a whipped tallow, but, uh,

1:23:00

you, regular tallow you can, uh, purified

1:23:00

tallow you can, but they also have what

1:23:04

they call whipped tallow and, uh, if you

1:23:04

want, you could, uh, moisturize with the

1:23:08

tallow too, uh, if you get it whipped. Just something I learned today, actually.

1:23:12

So I, I told her, I said, and she

1:23:12

had lavender scented and non scented.

1:23:15

I said, I'll pick up some lavender and

1:23:15

cause we lotion my son up after his bath.

1:23:19

So it's supposed to be

1:23:19

really good for your skin.

1:23:22

So yeah, let me know how that works for you. Yeah.

1:23:25

This place had, um, uh, Smoke

1:23:25

dog bones and beef tongue and

1:23:29

uh, just it's got everything. It's real cool, man.

1:23:32

I uh, half the stuff Uh, i'm

1:23:32

gonna do a video link them in

1:23:35

and people want to order too. They can order One of my

1:23:37

favorite things we used to go.

1:23:40

Sorry. Go ahead. Oh, nothing I'll just say I

1:23:42

use some tallow soap that I

1:23:44

really like but go ahead Sean. Yeah.

1:23:46

So like I, I used to get

1:23:46

this before carnivore.

1:23:49

I used to get this sandwich from this

1:23:49

authentic Mexican restaurant spot that

1:23:53

we used to go to the Lingua mm-hmm. . And the beef is beef tongue, man.

1:23:57

It's some of the best eaten you'll ever

1:23:57

do this if it's, if it's done right.

1:24:01

So if you get the chance to get any of the

1:24:01

beef, heart or beef tongue, man, get it.

1:24:05

They've got, oh man, I, I left

1:24:05

the street pocket beef tongue.

1:24:09

Oh my goodness. Yeah, that, how do you cook the beef? That makes me hungry.

1:24:11

Just thinking about it. How would you guys cook it?

1:24:13

If I did get, I have no idea, but I'll

1:24:13

promise you, I will, if I could find it,

1:24:17

like, I probably can, but like, I must

1:24:17

stop back down there at the little spot.

1:24:21

We used to get them the leeward sandwiches

1:24:21

from and ask them how they do it.

1:24:27

I just Googled grass fed beef near me,

1:24:27

and then it brought up a bunch of, uh,

1:24:31

local farms that were selling their meat. And, um, I just went through on

1:24:33

their websites and kind of looked

1:24:36

at what they were offering. And this one, uh, was not

1:24:37

only close to me, but, uh,

1:24:40

offering a bunch of great stuff. That's family patch too.

1:24:43

Um, if you have a, if you have a a, an

1:24:43

ethnic market, there're, you're gonna find

1:24:50

that type of stuff there easily enough. I do find it, you know that in

1:24:52

the grocery store from time to

1:24:55

time, um, you're gonna cook it. You're gonna either, probably

1:24:56

either slow cook it in a, in a crock

1:24:59

pot, or you're gonna cook it in a

1:24:59

pressure cooker because it's gonna

1:25:02

be a little on the tougher side. So it's gonna need a little

1:25:04

time to break it down. Um, but it's amazing.

1:25:08

A little bit of seasoning. And, um, you know, have it in,

1:25:09

you know, some street tacos.

1:25:12

You can use the egg wraps. I get those, those egg life wraps and you

1:25:13

cook those on the Blackstone, you know,

1:25:18

just for a little bit to Brown them up a

1:25:18

little bit and you put your, your stuff in

1:25:21

there and you think you're eating a taco. You, you wouldn't even know that

1:25:23

you're eating an egg wrap that John.

1:25:26

See, I'm learning. So every live stream and I

1:25:26

learned something, how to

1:25:28

be a better carnivore, man. I love it. Um, it's hard to convince others.

1:25:34

My wife is happy that I'm so much

1:25:34

healthier, but does not want to.

1:25:38

to do the same herself, she eats meat in

1:25:38

moderation, but still sad, you know, just

1:25:43

set example every time, you know, it just

1:25:43

gives time, you know, some people that,

1:25:48

uh, you know, snub their nose at me before

1:25:48

and now coming up and asking me questions.

1:25:52

You just never know. I mean, you just got to put it out there.

1:25:54

Um, ultimately it's your health and

1:25:54

you're the only one that can control it

1:25:58

and it's their health and they're the

1:25:58

only one to control it for themselves.

1:26:01

So, you know, lead by example.

1:26:04

And, uh, you know, hopefully they'll, uh, yeah. Uh, they'll, uh, be able to, uh,

1:26:06

to get John before it's too late.

1:26:13

You know, I know this is really

1:26:13

important with carnivore people.

1:26:15

I always get the butt. And what I mean by that is like, yeah, you

1:26:17

look good, but you're just eating meat.

1:26:22

Yeah. You, you know, you're,

1:26:23

you've got rid of your IBS.

1:26:25

But that's a wild, I just, it's like,

1:26:25

but what dude, but what, you know, like I

1:26:30

didn't, I didn't go get plastic surgery. I went on a diet, you know, like

1:26:32

there's no, but about it, right?

1:26:37

The craziest is when they're

1:26:37

over there eating like a

1:26:40

cupcake or cookies or something. They're like, but in the longterm, you're

1:26:41

going to get heart attack or something.

1:26:46

But I would have to get up my

1:26:46

moose tracks ice cream, but I

1:26:48

don't want, but, but whatever, man.

1:26:52

Everything you, everything you eat

1:26:52

is produced in a factory somewhere.

1:26:57

Yeah. I, I, I had a, I had a coworker,

1:26:57

you know, that, that, that, you

1:27:02

know, I had a coworker telling me,

1:27:02

Oh, I'm just as healthy as you are.

1:27:04

And I'm thinking, yeah, probably

1:27:04

not because, you know, one of us

1:27:09

was just recently in for surgery

1:27:09

and it wasn't me, so probably not.

1:27:14

Let's go back next year and see how

1:27:14

that statement is still there too.

1:27:18

Right. Circle back. Exactly. Let's let's revisit this.

1:27:23

Yeah, let's put it. Yeah, I see here. I agree with the carnivore soldier.

1:27:26

My personal personally jumped in full

1:27:26

carnivore on day one was much success

1:27:31

over 2 months later for you pure bride.

1:27:35

Yeah, I mean, that's I didn't I

1:27:35

didn't even really speak to that a

1:27:38

whole lot but that's kind of like I

1:27:38

have to agree with you on that too

1:27:41

because like I I was in a hopeless

1:27:41

place that I needed change now and so

1:27:47

when I started it was literally Yeah.

1:27:49

I tried, I tried a month of it

1:27:49

to see what it was about and I

1:27:52

could tell by that one 30 day time

1:27:52

period that that's what I needed.

1:27:57

And so on April the 17th 2022, like

1:27:57

the day before I was eating sad and

1:28:03

the next day I was eating carnivore

1:28:03

and it like that's a done deal.

1:28:08

And it's, you know, so, I mean, I guess.

1:28:11

I get at the end of the day, you got

1:28:11

to do what is sustainable, but you

1:28:15

also can't ride that line with half

1:28:15

your foot in your desires and your

1:28:20

addictions and the other half searching

1:28:20

for the benefits from carnivore.

1:28:25

That's not a line you can teeter on. You got to either get in or get

1:28:27

out, you know, but you have to find

1:28:30

what's sustainable for you as well. You know, like, like, uh, we were saying,

1:28:33

man, like, you are going to probably

1:28:37

experience if you're eating a carb heavy,

1:28:37

which is what everybody is absolutely

1:28:43

doing, you know, before they come to

1:28:43

this eating usually typically, um, so

1:28:49

you're going to have those withdrawals. You're going to have those issues.

1:28:54

So some people do better easing into it.

1:28:56

Some people like for the mental aspect

1:28:56

of it, the determination, you need

1:29:01

to flat out, just change your life

1:29:01

and make some decisions and have

1:29:04

a come, come to Jesus meeting and,

1:29:04

and do the thing, you know, there's,

1:29:09

there's those both types of people. So that's, that was me.

1:29:12

It was an all or nothing kind of thing. So that's kind of where I land on that

1:29:14

issue, but yeah, jump in, get in, you

1:29:20

know, yeah, I had to cross the Rubicon.

1:29:24

, I basically made the decision

1:29:24

that my life was going down so

1:29:27

fast, my life, my quality, that

1:29:27

I had to make a radical change.

1:29:32

So that's why I talk about

1:29:32

like Cortez landing on the new

1:29:34

world and burning his ships. Mm-hmm. , I burned my ships, man, those soldiers

1:29:36

had no chance to get home, so they

1:29:39

had to defeat the, they had to make it

1:29:39

work then with 600 soldiers and that.

1:29:42

So that was my motivation. So what I did, And I see people are

1:29:44

like, well, I got food in the pantry.

1:29:47

I'm going to eat it down first. And then go carnivores. Like that's like dumping alcohol

1:29:49

to finish your alcohol cabinet

1:29:52

before dumping it out, dump that

1:29:52

in the toilet and then start over.

1:29:55

You don't want to continue down that path. One more minute.

1:29:58

If you're in a state like

1:29:58

I was in, not everyone is.

1:30:01

And if your goal. is losing 18 pounds, then

1:30:03

that's not big enough.

1:30:06

That's not a big why, because

1:30:06

you've failed every diet you've done

1:30:10

until today because that was your

1:30:10

goal, to lose pounds or whatever.

1:30:13

Your goal has to be big. My why was not to die like my mother did.

1:30:18

Not to, um... You know, go down like my dad did not

1:30:19

and to be there for my son when he

1:30:23

graduates college and gets married

1:30:23

someday and hold my grandchild.

1:30:26

So that's a big why that you can

1:30:26

hold on to, you know, losing 18

1:30:30

pounds is nothing that's fleeting. You got to get a big why.

1:30:34

And then you got to get to

1:30:34

that determination, man.

1:30:37

When you like, you got

1:30:37

to quit with the excuse.

1:30:40

Like I've seen it. Too many times, like you got to

1:30:41

be willing to do what it takes.

1:30:45

Find what works. If you're going into the situation and

1:30:46

you're already looking for the reasons

1:30:50

why you can't do what you're saying that

1:30:50

you want to do, you might as well just

1:30:54

reevaluate and figure out what you can

1:30:54

do, because like, honestly, I understand

1:30:59

that the skepticism, I was a skeptic too.

1:31:01

Um, however, if you're

1:31:01

going to do it, do it.

1:31:05

Do it all out. Um, we, we get so wrapped up in that

1:31:07

finding the, finding the excuse,

1:31:11

finding, well, I would do it, but this,

1:31:11

but, you know, I got whatever issue.

1:31:17

Yeah, it's going to like I said,

1:31:17

a while ago, it's going to sell,

1:31:21

you know, but when you get to that

1:31:21

point, like you just said, you burn

1:31:24

the ships, you burn the bridges. Where you either, you know, what, what was

1:31:26

that old song back in the day is all rap

1:31:30

song, get rich or die trying or something.

1:31:33

Yeah, you're, you're either, you're either

1:31:33

going to, it's a do or die situation.

1:31:38

Like many people are at that

1:31:38

point with their health, many

1:31:41

people are on their way there. They just don't realize it yet.

1:31:45

Yeah, I'll burn the ships, man. My coach would say seal off all exits.

1:31:49

Don't, you should have no

1:31:49

exit door, no exit plan.

1:31:53

There should just be the new

1:31:53

way forward and that's it, man.

1:31:56

And you're stuck there until you crawl

1:31:56

your way out of the new way until you,

1:31:59

until you get back into the light. You know what I'm saying?

1:32:02

But so yeah, seal off all exits, man.

1:32:04

Don't look for the escape hatch, man.

1:32:06

Get rid of it. Concrete it up, man.

1:32:08

There's no more escape hatch. You're stuck.

1:32:11

And then you'll, you'll crawl your

1:32:11

way out and you'll be a new person.

1:32:14

I don't think that means you

1:32:14

can't do a transition phase too.

1:32:18

Cause you can, you can do both, right? You can get rid of almost all your stuff.

1:32:22

Like you don't, if you're going to be

1:32:22

transitioning to carnivore, you should

1:32:25

never be eating macaroni and cheese. I mean, so that's the, it's

1:32:27

not mutually exclusive.

1:32:29

We get rid of that stuff. But then if you want to still try to

1:32:31

really just get rid of seed oils and go

1:32:35

to whole foods, that's the first step. If that's what you're going

1:32:37

to do, that's the transition. So, okay, I'm going to still have

1:32:39

some whole food vegetables or

1:32:42

whatever, but I'm not going to

1:32:42

cook with, uh, seed oils and stuff.

1:32:46

And I'm not going to use sauces. I'm going to start cutting that out.

1:32:49

If that's what you're going to do. That's a real transition, right?

1:32:53

But to say, well, I'm going

1:32:53

to eat the rest of my food.

1:32:55

Cause I got pudding and I

1:32:55

got ice cream and I got that.

1:32:58

That's not a transition. That is not what we're talking about here.

1:33:02

My dude, my dude that I was communicating

1:33:02

with that I still communicate, and

1:33:06

I'm not going to say his name cause

1:33:06

I didn't ask his permission to share

1:33:08

it, but I am going to share the story

1:33:08

he like was going to start carnivore.

1:33:12

So he put it on a community. Like community post on

1:33:14

Facebook for the community.

1:33:18

Anybody that wanted food to come

1:33:18

get it, they came over to his house.

1:33:21

He gave all the food out of his cabinets

1:33:21

and replaced it with carnivore food.

1:33:25

That day when I, when you, I'm not

1:33:25

saying that everybody has to do that,

1:33:30

but whenever I heard that, like, I

1:33:30

felt, I feel the chills going through

1:33:33

my bones right now, that's somebody who

1:33:33

wants to change their life conviction.

1:33:38

That's somebody who means business. You get to that point right

1:33:40

there, you're going to see some change come in your life.

1:33:44

You don't just start giving food

1:33:44

away at your closet, you know, out of

1:33:47

your cabinets and out of your house. And then the next day going and buy,

1:33:49

you know, I don't know, man, it just

1:33:53

hit me up because I'm, I took mine

1:33:53

to the food pantry because I know

1:33:56

there's people that are starving

1:33:56

and this is good starvation food.

1:33:58

You will not starve eating macaroni and cheese. You will live.

1:34:01

And that's what I was like, all

1:34:01

right, I'm going to give that away.

1:34:04

Now the seed oils I dumped out

1:34:04

because I realized how bad they were.

1:34:06

I didn't want. to give those to anybody,

1:34:07

but all bless your heart.

1:34:10

But you know, I did like almost

1:34:10

everything out of my pantry.

1:34:14

I did keep some, um, survival

1:34:14

food because I'm a survivor.

1:34:17

I'm a military guy, so I have canned food

1:34:17

that I won't eat unless I'm starving.

1:34:22

I have MREs and dehydrated food

1:34:22

that I won't eat unless I'm starved.

1:34:26

But, um, anyway, so,

1:34:26

see we got a question.

1:34:32

We do. I was letting you guys go, you guys were

1:34:34

on a roll, so I wasn't interrupting that.

1:34:38

Sorry. The power of that conversation was

1:34:40

too strong to interfere with the flow.

1:34:45

Alright, did you all start

1:34:45

with this way of eating for

1:34:47

weight loss, illness, or both? Uh, let's start with Brian,

1:34:49

we'll work our way around. For me, it was both.

1:34:54

I, I was very overweight and,

1:34:54

you know, definitely felt like I

1:34:59

need to do something about that. But I also had a lot of pain.

1:35:03

I had, you know, the a fib issue

1:35:03

that I talked about earlier.

1:35:07

And, um, so the idea was, you know,

1:35:07

as I lose weight, I was hoping

1:35:13

that some of those, um, illnesses

1:35:13

and health issues would go away.

1:35:18

So for me, it was definitely both. Now that it's happened, the I can

1:35:21

say that the illnesses, the health

1:35:26

issues far outweigh the weight loss.

1:35:29

Um, and really, when, when we say

1:35:29

weight loss, we don't mean weight loss.

1:35:34

We mean body fat loss. But, but, um, for me, definitely

1:35:36

the, the illness now that I've

1:35:41

looked at it is really what I do.

1:35:44

I am very thankful for and um, even

1:35:44

though I did it for both that, that's

1:35:49

the, the huge point for me is the,

1:35:49

the, you know, the health issues.

1:35:53

All right. Who wants to go next?

1:35:57

Uh, I, I started it for both, both

1:35:57

reasons, like all the above and more

1:36:04

like, so I was, I was nothing but

1:36:04

visceral fat when I started, I don't know

1:36:08

that I even have bones at that point. I know I got 208 bones in my

1:36:11

body, but I'm not sure that any of

1:36:14

them could be found at that time. Like I was literally.

1:36:17

I was extremely overweight, you

1:36:17

know, I mean, like, I was unhealthy.

1:36:22

I had type two diabetes, non alcoholic

1:36:22

fatty liver disease, sleep apnea,

1:36:26

gout, um, and many other things.

1:36:29

Like, so it was, it was a combination

1:36:29

of all the above the mental health, you

1:36:34

know, like I didn't know, I didn't even

1:36:34

know it could cure all those things at

1:36:38

the time when I started, but I just know

1:36:38

that whenever I start, when I found Dr.

1:36:44

Berry and started listening to Dr. Berry, like, The things that he

1:36:45

was saying that could be fixed.

1:36:49

I was like, yep, got that problem. Yep. Got that problem.

1:36:52

Now, is all that going to happen? I don't know, you know, but I

1:36:54

knew that if I didn't do anything,

1:36:58

it wasn't going to fix it. So, you know, it was

1:36:59

basically all the above.

1:37:06

I'll, uh, I'll jump in here. So this will answer the question.

1:37:11

Plus talk about a non scale victory.

1:37:15

And I've not talked about this on

1:37:15

anybody else, or you brought this up

1:37:18

because it's kind of personal, but

1:37:18

I think thinking about it, it came

1:37:21

to me that this is a huge victory.

1:37:23

So in February, I had a major hemorrhoid

1:37:23

flare up and, um, it was like sitting

1:37:31

on a base, you know, on a baseball, you

1:37:31

know, um, I started bleeding at work.

1:37:36

It bled through my clothes. It was, it was horrible.

1:37:38

I'm not going to go into all the details

1:37:38

of it, but anybody that's ever had it or

1:37:41

dealt with it, know that it's horrible. And.

1:37:44

That's related to the sad diet and the

1:37:44

amount of waste that you have to expel.

1:37:50

It causes you issues in that department. And so, um, being on this diet

1:37:52

has resolved all those issues.

1:37:58

So that's a non scale victory for me.

1:38:00

Um, and so my motivation in February,

1:38:00

and then when I watched that, you know,

1:38:06

video that led me down this road is. I was like, man, this, I, I'm,

1:38:08

I'm not doing this, you know,

1:38:11

I got to lose some weight. I was linking that to weight, but

1:38:12

it was, it was diet, obviously, but

1:38:16

I said, I got to lose some weight. I got to get myself in better health,

1:38:17

you know, in better condition.

1:38:21

And so that was my

1:38:21

motivation was weight loss.

1:38:24

I, at the time I had some things

1:38:24

that, you know, illness wise that

1:38:28

were my forethought, but I was like,

1:38:28

I got to lose weight for, for, you

1:38:31

know, for this, so I'm not dealing

1:38:31

with this type of stuff in my life.

1:38:35

And so that's where, uh,

1:38:35

that was my big motivation.

1:38:38

And that's why I probably

1:38:38

went so hardcore in March.

1:38:40

It was like, I'm doing

1:38:40

this, I'm done with it.

1:38:42

I'm going to make it happen. Um, Larry.

1:38:49

Yeah, I, I, okay. So I, I, I was athletic most of my

1:38:50

life from college playing sports.

1:38:55

And then in the military, I would

1:38:55

work out a lot, of course, because we

1:38:58

have to keep a certain fitness level. But I noticed when I hit 50, because

1:39:00

I was still active in the military

1:39:03

until I retired in 53, my body stopped

1:39:03

responding to exercise like it used to.

1:39:07

Uh, I was having a hard time getting

1:39:07

weight off and I crept up from like

1:39:13

when I entered the military at two 40,

1:39:13

up to two 50, at 2 55 when I was in my

1:39:18

fifties, and then it got up to two 60.

1:39:20

By the time I retired, I think I was 2 65. And then after I retired, it

1:39:23

just came on and I went to 280.

1:39:26

I just ballooned up and, and of

1:39:26

course I had all these injuries.

1:39:30

So I, I knew I couldn't

1:39:30

work out like I used to.

1:39:32

And what I saw when I watched

1:39:32

Dante Fragno's video, he wasn't

1:39:36

doing anything except for body

1:39:36

weight exercises and walking.

1:39:39

And I said, I can do that. So that's when I started.

1:39:43

And of course, all the things that

1:39:43

changed after that, I I'd seen him.

1:39:46

And like Sean says, you

1:39:46

know, you don't believe it.

1:39:48

You're like, well. Maybe that happens for some people,

1:39:49

maybe, you know, but until you

1:39:53

experience it, it is game changer.

1:39:56

Right now. So all the things it's a, it's kind

1:39:56

of like a cascade, like an avalanche,

1:40:00

like first one thing changes and

1:40:00

another thing, then all of a sudden all

1:40:03

your symptoms start changing, right? All your illnesses start,

1:40:05

uh, cascading your body.

1:40:08

Basically what happens is the inflammation

1:40:08

leaves your body and now your body can

1:40:11

actually heal the stuff that's been

1:40:11

outstanding Uh, on, you know, on your

1:40:15

body that's been sitting there and then

1:40:15

it starts like, like, um, Sean was saying

1:40:19

with his, uh, hernia, all of a sudden

1:40:19

things that you didn't even realize get

1:40:23

healed and you're like, wow, that's gone. And I didn't realize I had that.

1:40:26

I forgot like your mental stuff

1:40:26

for me, I didn't expect it.

1:40:30

And when it happened, it was kind

1:40:30

of a surprise as a welcome surprise.

1:40:33

But, uh, yeah, so I, I would

1:40:33

say started with weight, but.

1:40:38

Now that is secondary because, well, of

1:40:38

course the weights off, but, uh, now it's

1:40:42

just life, it's like, I am energized.

1:40:45

I am motivated. Uh, like I haven't been in forever.

1:40:48

Uh, so I wish I would have known this. And I used to, I say this to, you

1:40:50

know, I wish I would have learned

1:40:52

this 15, 20 years ago, but I'm so

1:40:52

grateful I did when I did because.

1:40:57

It has changed everything. It's great.

1:41:01

Yeah, for me, uh, it

1:41:01

was mostly just illness.

1:41:03

Um, growing up, I was always a chubby

1:41:03

kid for about since like nine years old.

1:41:08

And, uh, I had no problems getting

1:41:08

a girlfriend at any time in my life.

1:41:12

So I figured, you know, if the

1:41:12

girls didn't mind that I was chubby,

1:41:15

uh, I wasn't going to mind either. So, uh, the, the weight never bothered

1:41:17

me, but it was the health, man.

1:41:20

I almost died from the sleep apnea.

1:41:23

Um, I had. I just sprang up in the middle of the

1:41:25

night and I just couldn't get any air.

1:41:28

Like this is, that's all I could

1:41:28

get after a couple minutes.

1:41:34

And, uh, but the first couple of minutes

1:41:34

I was getting no air and I hit my knees,

1:41:38

man, I had no power left in my body. I just, I wasn't breathing.

1:41:41

Everything was starting to clock out. And, uh, it was that voice, this

1:41:44

voice, man, to this day, it wasn't

1:41:47

a male voice or female voice, but. He told me if I wanted to still be around,

1:41:50

I had to, had to try to breathe in man.

1:41:54

That was the scariest 15,

1:41:54

20 minutes of my life.

1:41:56

I sat there on the kitchen floor,

1:41:56

staring at the, the, the clock on

1:42:01

the oven and just trying to breathe. And I didn't know what, what minute on the

1:42:03

clock was going to hit that I was going to

1:42:07

die, but I just kept trying to breathe in.

1:42:10

Thank God I did, man. And so for me, it was, I wanted to

1:42:12

start carnivore and hopefully never,

1:42:17

ever have that experience again, where

1:42:17

I just woke up, but my lungs weren't

1:42:21

awake, where I just couldn't breathe. And, uh, you know, when you can't

1:42:22

breathe, I'm telling you, man, like it's

1:42:28

just the scariest thing in the world. And, um, you just, even just a half a

1:42:30

breath, man, is just, you're so grateful.

1:42:35

And I think it's the free things in life. We forget, man, this diet's free.

1:42:40

Um, you know, uh, just our faith is free.

1:42:44

Our life is free. You know, like we were so blessed.

1:42:47

Uh, people don't know you

1:42:47

fill up your lungs with air

1:42:50

and it's a blessing from God. So I started carnivore because I couldn't

1:42:52

fill my lungs with air that well.

1:42:56

And, uh, I realized I was

1:42:56

pretty soon they weren't going

1:43:00

to be filled with air no more. And I was going to be in another

1:43:01

dimension, which is fine.

1:43:04

But, um, For me, I wasn't scared of dying.

1:43:06

I was just afraid that I had

1:43:06

squandered my opportunity at life.

1:43:09

Uh, squandered my opportunity

1:43:09

to be a father, to be a husband,

1:43:14

uh, to talk to you guys. That's what scared me.

1:43:16

Like I was already dying that the

1:43:16

process of dying didn't scare me.

1:43:20

I was already going through it. It just, what scared me is how bad of

1:43:21

a decision I made to get myself there.

1:43:25

So hopefully you guys, um, don't have to

1:43:25

hit that much of a rock bottom or that

1:43:30

much of a low to experience a good high.

1:43:33

You know, so yeah, it was illness

1:43:33

for me and the weights just,

1:43:37

that's just icing on the cake, man. I've never looked this good, but uh,

1:43:38

it's for me, I never want to go back

1:43:42

to not being able to breathe, man. Scary shit in my life.

1:43:45

You do look good, man. Thanks. You're doing good.

1:43:48

I have to throw this out there. I, the last time I wore a medium

1:43:49

shirt, JT was probably, I was

1:43:53

probably two years old, so, you know,

1:43:53

I couldn't believe it either too.

1:43:58

I ordered it. I was like, no way, dude, I

1:43:59

might ordering a medium shirt.

1:44:01

And the whole time it was said

1:44:01

it was shipped from Arizona.

1:44:04

So I was like, dude, skinny

1:44:04

thoughts, Paris, Paris Hilton,

1:44:07

Paris Hilton, Paris Hilton, skinny

1:44:07

thoughts, showed up and I put it on.

1:44:12

I was like, all right, it's now or never. I put it on. I'm like, holy shit.

1:44:15

Does this fit or what? The shirt I sent you is

1:44:17

scheduled to be there tomorrow.

1:44:20

Mine showed up, by the way. Oh, man, you lucky ass dog, man.

1:44:25

All right. So, uh, um, really quick here.

1:44:28

We got over 60. 70 people here at one point.

1:44:31

I appreciate every one of you guys. If you hit the like button, hit

1:44:33

the subscribe button, hit the share

1:44:35

button, share this with friends,

1:44:35

families, people you don't know.

1:44:39

We don't care. We want to talk to everybody. Um.

1:44:42

You know, reach out to all these

1:44:42

guys channels, give them some love.

1:44:46

If you have any further questions, put

1:44:46

a cue in it, put it in the comments now.

1:44:50

We're going to go for another 15

1:44:50

minutes here, and then we're going to

1:44:53

call this good for today, and we'll

1:44:53

do another live next Sunday at noon.

1:44:58

And, you know, we might have

1:44:58

some same faces in here.

1:45:01

We might have some new faces. I was talking to a former fat girl.

1:45:05

She might join us next Sunday. So, definitely, uh, Definitely

1:45:06

look forward to this every Sunday.

1:45:11

All right. So any more questions put them

1:45:11

in the comments now 15 minutes

1:45:15

and we're calling Moving on.

1:45:18

All right. We got this one here from twin maples. It says, uh, we are seeing carnivore ice

1:45:20

cream recipes Is that something any of

1:45:24

you have tried heavy cream and egg egg

1:45:24

yolks, maybe some vanilla It's custard.

1:45:31

It's good. I make it.

1:45:34

I don't do it very often and I

1:45:34

don't do it since i've been online

1:45:37

But I bought the ice cream machine. I used Dr. Kiltz's recipe, but I

1:45:38

added more egg yolks.

1:45:40

I want more fat in it. Uh, so I put in three egg yolks per,

1:45:42

uh, quart of heavy whipping cream.

1:45:48

And then a little bit of vanilla. And that's it. No sweetener.

1:45:51

You don't need sweetener. Your taste buds have changed so much

1:45:52

that it'll taste sweet just like it is.

1:45:55

But, again, that stuff, that's

1:45:55

part of what I cut out when

1:45:58

I went from 250 down to 236. Uh, cutting that out.

1:46:02

That's part of the dairy. So just be aware.

1:46:05

You can do it. Playing with fire, folks. Playing with fire. Yeah, I just, I don't, I don't do it.

1:46:14

I haven't done it. I, I just feel like, uh, anything that,

1:46:14

uh, you know, like they've got these beef

1:46:19

patties that are made from vegetables

1:46:19

to try to make it look like beef.

1:46:21

Like, just let things be what they are. You know, ice cream's ice

1:46:23

cream and I, it's not really,

1:46:26

I, I'm not against it, man. Maybe it fits in the carnivore.

1:46:29

It's just, I'm not gonna do it

1:46:29

because then I'm gonna start

1:46:31

getting, uh, ideas to eat other

1:46:31

ice cream that's not good for me.

1:46:34

So, for me, it's just something

1:46:34

like the popcorn machine.

1:46:37

When I smell it, I'm just

1:46:37

gonna walk farther away from

1:46:39

it so I can't smell it no more. That's just me.

1:46:42

Yeah. Yeah. I'm kind of, I haven't, I was just

1:46:44

gonna say, I, I haven't tried it and

1:46:48

I'm kind of the same way as JT, you

1:46:48

know, I'm thinking like, if I do try

1:46:52

it, am I going to want real ice cream? You know, that not real ice

1:46:54

cream, but you know what I mean?

1:46:56

Am I going to want ice cream that

1:46:56

is not for, you know, Carnivore.

1:47:01

Um, so I, I've just kind of stayed

1:47:01

away from it and it is dairy.

1:47:04

So it's not optimal. It's not preferred.

1:47:07

Yeah. Yeah. I stick to meat and meat.

1:47:11

We got another question here. Um, what do you guys think about

1:47:13

rebranding cardboard and meat based keto?

1:47:18

Seems to get a lot less

1:47:18

pushback from family and friends

1:47:20

concerned about my health. You know, if you got a, if you got a

1:47:22

dumb it down for friends and family.

1:47:27

Uh, sometimes I'll tell them, look,

1:47:27

I eat a high, high, uh, meat, high

1:47:32

protein, high fat diet, no carbs.

1:47:35

And they'll understand that. You say carnivore, it just

1:47:36

throws their head into a spin.

1:47:39

But in, in the end,

1:47:39

carnivore is what it is.

1:47:41

You can tell it's keto,

1:47:41

it's keto isn't it?

1:47:44

Isn't that just keto, meat based keto? Yeah, that's just keto.

1:47:49

We've already got a name

1:47:49

for that zero carb diet.

1:47:52

That's a way to say where people

1:47:52

are used to hearing about low carb.

1:47:55

So if you just say zero carb there,

1:47:55

they won't push back as much as like

1:47:58

carnivore sounds like a caveman. That sounds like fricking extreme, right?

1:48:02

But zero carb doesn't sound that extreme. I think it's too close to cannibal.

1:48:06

You know what I'm saying? That they think like, like,

1:48:07

no, I don't eat people.

1:48:09

I just eat meat. Dear Lord. Oh, that's we're starving, right?

1:48:15

Yeah, yeah. My barbecue up.

1:48:19

I mean, honestly, I don't I do

1:48:19

what I do for my health and for

1:48:23

the better advancement of what

1:48:23

I can provide for my family.

1:48:26

And honestly, I don't get I don't

1:48:26

catch a lot of opposition like that.

1:48:30

But if I did they would

1:48:30

understand to that.

1:48:33

Look, I'm not rebranding what I do to, to

1:48:33

please people at a certain point, right?

1:48:38

Like, I mean, I, I love people. I want people to get it.

1:48:40

I want to get along, but at

1:48:40

the same, at the end of the

1:48:43

time, I'm big about boundaries. I set boundaries.

1:48:46

You don't get to break 'em and neither do I. And I think that's what we gotta get to.

1:48:50

Like the people pleasing. You can love people without becoming,

1:48:52

what's the word I'm looking for?

1:48:56

Um, a doorman. Yeah, a doormat.

1:48:59

That's a, that's a good way to put it

1:48:59

to you can, you can love people and

1:49:03

get along with people without being

1:49:03

a doormat and allowing them to walk

1:49:07

all over you to where you rebrand

1:49:07

and recall things, other things

1:49:11

and, and, and all that stuff, right? Like, I mean, words mean things.

1:49:17

They really do. And we don't get to change them

1:49:18

just because it hurts our feelings.

1:49:22

Yeah, give, give him the straight talk though. If you don't, if you don't be

1:49:24

straight forward with someone, you

1:49:26

ain't going to help them either. Like my mom always said, man, if you're

1:49:27

in trouble and you don't tell me what's

1:49:31

going on, how can I actually help you? So if you're not, if you're not being

1:49:33

real, like how you can actually help

1:49:36

people and give them the real information. So don't sugarcoat nothing.

1:49:39

The carnivore diet is what it is. And, uh, it, it's not just a diet.

1:49:43

Tell him it's a, it's a

1:49:43

lifestyle and it's a good one.

1:49:46

It's a great one. It's the best one I've had. Absolutely.

1:49:49

All right. I've got another question here. Have you guys, uh, experimented to get

1:49:51

optimal results along your journey and

1:49:56

then follow up to it is, if so, how often?

1:49:59

What do you mean? Like steroids or something? I, I don't know.

1:50:01

What, what, what do you mean line diet? I did line diet.

1:50:05

Yeah. I've done lined diet line

1:50:05

diet Sealy, diet bacon.

1:50:09

I don't understand the

1:50:09

sea lion diet thing.

1:50:11

I, I have yet to, I, I, like,

1:50:11

I get it, but I don't get it.

1:50:14

Yeah. Like I don't, I don't even know. You can buy Sea Lion.

1:50:18

That's a joke. No, I know it's, it's, it's shrimp

1:50:20

and stuff, but that's my joke.

1:50:24

I thought it was funny. Yeah.

1:50:29

I think it's because Kip was eating

1:50:29

some shrimp or something or cook

1:50:34

some shrimp and somebody attacked him

1:50:34

and said that that wasn't carnivore.

1:50:37

And so then he came out with the

1:50:37

sea lion diet, which is quite funny.

1:50:43

You gotta watch my boy Kip, man. Kip will put one on you in a second, too.

1:50:47

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Kip's got humor.

1:50:50

I like Kip. I'm the smoker at Kip's.

1:50:52

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised. You open that thing up and there's

1:50:54

a sea lion flapping on there.

1:50:56

I wouldn't be surprised. My boy Kip will put it on

1:50:58

you if you ain't ready.

1:51:01

You don't mess with me. You guys see any other questions?

1:51:04

Have I missed it? Wait, here's another one. And Kip is running, too.

1:51:07

Shout out to Kip, man. He's got a great goal, man. Hit that 5K.

1:51:11

Oh, he'll get it. Charlotte, Charlotte's back on here.

1:51:13

High protein or high protein.

1:51:16

How does the fat balance out

1:51:16

the protein without gaining fat

1:51:19

versus gaining muscle weight? What are the fat and protein

1:51:21

you eat on carnivore diet?

1:51:25

Um, so there's a lot there, you

1:51:25

know, and we could delve into

1:51:28

a long conversation on that. And I got, I got videos on it and

1:51:29

these guys all have videos on it.

1:51:33

Um, but basically, um, your body

1:51:33

doesn't, does not convert fat into fat.

1:51:38

That that's, that's a myth. That's a lie.

1:51:40

That's been touted for 40 years.

1:51:43

Um, your body takes fat.

1:51:46

And we'll, if you're not feeding it

1:51:46

carbohydrates, your body will take fat and

1:51:50

will then convert it into, into energy.

1:51:53

Um, I can't think of the exact word

1:51:53

on it off the top of my head, but

1:51:56

anyways, it'll convert it into energy

1:51:56

that your body will then operate on.

1:51:59

So you become fat adaptive. So not only are you burning the fat

1:52:00

that you're consuming, you'll start

1:52:03

burning off the excess fat that, that

1:52:03

you have tucked around your body.

1:52:08

Um, so, you know, and the

1:52:08

protein is also good for you.

1:52:11

Um, what are fat? It's like, you got the gas

1:52:14

furnace and you finally turn that

1:52:17

off, you know, that's your fat. And then you're like, okay,

1:52:18

let's stop using the gas furnace

1:52:21

and let's use all that wood. We cut, you know, during the

1:52:22

summer and like the body fat

1:52:25

we're walking around with. And now you switch in your, your

1:52:26

fuel source to wood instead of,

1:52:28

uh, racking up that energy bill.

1:52:32

Yeah, you know, carbohydrates came

1:52:32

in seasons, you know, you didn't,

1:52:36

carbohydrates shouldn't be available

1:52:36

to you, you know, 365 days a year.

1:52:40

You can only get strawberries

1:52:40

in, you know, in June.

1:52:43

You can only get, you know,

1:52:43

berries in June and July.

1:52:45

You can only get apples in the fall. You can only get certain

1:52:47

carbohydrates at during seasonally.

1:52:51

And so your body. Is designed to run on fat.

1:52:54

And then when it has a carb

1:52:54

in there, it uses that first.

1:52:57

And then when it goes back to fat,

1:52:57

the problem with the standard American

1:53:01

diet for the last, you know, 80, a

1:53:01

hundred years is we've, uh, we've

1:53:05

taught ourselves to live on carbs only.

1:53:08

And what happens with carbs is, is, is

1:53:08

it's like, okay, we're going to store

1:53:11

that for a rainy day for when you're

1:53:11

living on fat, so we're going to store

1:53:14

that around your midsection and we're

1:53:14

going to store that on your body.

1:53:16

And then when you need it. You know, you'll have it promises.

1:53:20

We never have a rainy day. We live on carbs 24 7 Yeah So all that

1:53:22

that builds up and it never gets used

1:53:27

until you switch over to a low carb or

1:53:27

or no carb diet like Us and then your

1:53:33

body switches back and now it's like,

1:53:33

okay, we got all these reserves We'll

1:53:37

start burning through this, you know,

1:53:37

and that's that's the big difference,

1:53:41

you know, we've gone from a diet of Carbs

1:53:41

occasionally to a carbs all the time.

1:53:46

And now we're, you know, some

1:53:46

of us are switching back.

1:53:49

Yeah. Turn the gas off, man. Start burning the wood, man.

1:53:52

We all got it. We carry it around on our bellies, man.

1:53:54

Burn that wood up. Anybody else want to answer that question?

1:53:58

Some anybody add anything?

1:54:01

So I would say that you want to

1:54:01

make sure that you should talk

1:54:05

about the balancing out, you know,

1:54:05

you want to get a fat heavy diet.

1:54:09

So, and it's by nutrient, not by volume.

1:54:13

So if you get a burger, that's 70 30.

1:54:15

fat. That is the perfect balance of

1:54:16

protein to fat that you want.

1:54:20

Uh, so it doesn't mean you

1:54:20

eat you know, 70 percent of

1:54:24

your plate is going to be fat. It's, it's, it's nutrients.

1:54:27

So, uh, it's, uh, and meat

1:54:27

is very nutrient dense.

1:54:30

So if you eat a ribeye, it's got a

1:54:30

lot of fat to, you know, calories

1:54:33

from fat versus calories from protein. That's the right balance.

1:54:36

And that's what you're looking for. So you're not looking to buy

1:54:37

just tons of fat, uh, by itself.

1:54:43

Go ahead. Every cell in your body needs. fat to be able to reproduce itself.

1:54:48

Your mitochondria is going to eat off of that. Like that's how you're, that's how

1:54:50

all your cells, all your hormones,

1:54:53

all your blood continues to live.

1:54:56

It's not like we just take,

1:54:56

get fat, store it, or use it.

1:55:01

Like our bodies continuously.

1:55:03

you know, reproducing itself to

1:55:03

stay alive every cell in your body.

1:55:09

So when you, when you're not shoving

1:55:09

toxic carbohydrates and sugars and

1:55:14

seed oils down your throat, causing

1:55:14

damage and locking off your body's

1:55:19

ability to use the stored fat and

1:55:19

whatnot in the correct manner, then,

1:55:25

you know, it's not that big of a deal. And I mean, you could

1:55:27

play with the balances. Nobody's going to be able to

1:55:29

give you the exact number of.

1:55:32

fat to protein ratio that you need to eat.

1:55:35

You've got to actually do that

1:55:35

and figure that out for yourself.

1:55:38

A good place to start is 2 to 1 or 1

1:55:38

to 1 according to, you know, the docs.

1:55:44

The beef, beef, butter,

1:55:44

bacon, and eggs thing that Dr.

1:55:46

Berry came out with was put together

1:55:46

basically because every item on

1:55:51

their beef, butter, bacon, and eggs

1:55:51

has a 1 to 1 fat to protein ratio.

1:55:55

Um, so that's what makes it complete like.

1:55:59

For that, uh, example, but, um, just

1:55:59

get in there and see what happens, you

1:56:03

know, uh, you know, try it for yourself

1:56:03

and, and see how you feel on it and, and

1:56:09

then reevaluate down the street down,

1:56:09

you know, down the road a little bit.

1:56:14

All right, so that's all of our questions.

1:56:18

If anybody else has any more questions,

1:56:18

you guys can reach out to us directly,

1:56:22

or you can catch us on another life. I want to go through each

1:56:23

person for a final thoughts.

1:56:26

And, uh, and then we'll, you know, we

1:56:26

got about what, four minutes there,

1:56:30

give or take, but we're going to

1:56:30

get each person's final thoughts.

1:56:32

And then we're going to call it a day. And I appreciate every one of you

1:56:33

guys for being on, on the live today.

1:56:37

Uh, I think this is probably one of

1:56:37

the best lives that I participated in,

1:56:40

you know, in a group fashion like this. So I really appreciate it.

1:56:43

Um, we've had up to 70 plus people,

1:56:43

you know, actively in the chat.

1:56:49

You know, we got it going on on

1:56:49

YouTube and Facebook on multiple

1:56:53

channels, so I'm excited.

1:56:56

We'll be doing it again

1:56:56

next week at noon on Sunday.

1:57:00

We'll have a topic that we're going to

1:57:00

talk about and answer questions, and

1:57:03

I hope that everybody will be able to,

1:57:03

you know, come out and join us again.

1:57:07

Um, we'll just work our way

1:57:07

for around from the top here,

1:57:09

so Brian, or I mean Larry. Once you start it and we'll work around.

1:57:14

I feel like I got the easy spot

1:57:14

because I always get to go first.

1:57:16

So I'm stealing everyone else's

1:57:16

ideas before they get to them.

1:57:19

And they have to come up with a new one, but I'll take it. So, um, I would say that, you know,

1:57:21

find your why, even if you've been

1:57:27

in this for three or four weeks,

1:57:27

maybe you've been in it for a month

1:57:29

already and you're, Oh, there you go. Now I'm at last.

1:57:34

Willingly asking graciously received. You know, if you, if you're thinking about

1:57:36

starting it, or you just started it, or

1:57:39

you've been in it for a month and your

1:57:39

why is still losing weight and losing 15

1:57:43

pounds shift gears, go to a bigger why,

1:57:43

and that'll help sustain you long term.

1:57:49

So that's what I say. If you have not figured out what your

1:57:50

long term, why is make that your goal

1:57:54

right now and spend some time reflect and

1:57:54

figure out what you want is going to be.

1:58:00

That's good. That's it. All right, Brian, you're up next.

1:58:05

All right. So, you know, Sean, um, talked about

1:58:06

his Facebook community and those

1:58:12

are great communities for people to

1:58:12

get support and just talk to other

1:58:18

people that are doing the same thing. And I think that's a key.

1:58:21

And that's something I see a

1:58:21

lot in the carnivore community.

1:58:25

Um, but if you're not doing a lot of

1:58:25

that, we're getting support talking

1:58:29

to other people go and do that

1:58:29

because it's gonna help your journey.

1:58:32

It's gonna, it's gonna help you

1:58:32

to stay on track and so forth.

1:58:36

Um, and those communities are great. So if you got a community like

1:58:37

carnivorous community, right?

1:58:41

That's the name, right? I think it's like you got a community

1:58:42

like that, that Sean has, you know, I

1:58:46

think most of us are in that community,

1:58:46

um, use that community, you know, and

1:58:50

you don't even have to post if you're

1:58:50

not the type of person that doesn't

1:58:53

like to post, just read everything that

1:58:53

everybody else is putting in there.

1:58:57

There's going to be so much in there

1:58:57

that's going to help you on your journey.

1:59:00

So that is a key and just

1:59:00

keep pushing forward.

1:59:04

Don't give up on it. No matter where you're at.

1:59:06

If you make mistakes, I

1:59:06

make mistakes all the time.

1:59:09

You know, if you make a mistake, it's okay. Go move on from there.

1:59:13

Learn from it and move on and

1:59:13

keep doing the carnivore diet.

1:59:18

That's it. All right. Thanks, Brian.

1:59:22

And there we go, JT. I just want to say thanks to John for

1:59:24

the invite and, uh, thanks, thanks

1:59:28

to you other guys here on the panel,

1:59:28

uh, and everybody in the comments for

1:59:31

fellowshipping with us here on a Sunday. And, uh, it's just great to connect with

1:59:33

you guys and, uh, to share wisdom and

1:59:39

to share support and stuff like that. But, uh, the thought I want to leave you

1:59:41

guys with is better food, better mood.

1:59:45

Um, get to know your farmers, get to

1:59:45

know how your food's being treated,

1:59:50

get to know what your food's eating. Um, and you know, even a butcher is

1:59:52

okay, but that's still a middle man.

1:59:55

Go right to the farm, man. Start, start supporting these people, man.

1:59:59

Because if we lose our farms, man, we're

1:59:59

going to lose our source of supply.

2:00:03

And, um, my coach always

2:00:03

taught me, um, you got to give

2:00:07

back to where you get from. And if we're getting all this

2:00:09

meat from the farmers, we need to

2:00:11

start giving back to the farmers. Otherwise, uh, the getting will be done.

2:00:15

We want to be go go

2:00:15

givers, not go getters.

2:00:18

So better food, better mood. Go to your farmers and I'll

2:00:20

throw this out there your farmer.

2:00:24

If you're buying meat from from

2:00:24

a local store Your farmer is

2:00:27

getting pennies on the dollar. Yeah, you know, but if you buy directly

2:00:29

from a farmer, that's go going into his

2:00:33

bank account That's helping him pay the

2:00:33

bills so, you know go to a local farmer

2:00:37

and support your local farmer because

2:00:37

they got bills to pay and they got

2:00:41

struggles and uh if they sell it to a

2:00:41

to Do wholesale retail they don't make

2:00:46

nothing period if you buy it directly

2:00:46

from them Yeah, what I did was Googled

2:00:50

grass fed beef near me and I found a

2:00:50

bunch of farms and I just went through

2:00:54

on the websites and uh, um, they, most

2:00:54

of them got pictures of them and their

2:00:58

family and their farm and just try to pick

2:00:58

someone, uh, that looks like they got a

2:01:02

good heart and could use the blessing and

2:01:02

then, um, you know, use that blessing too

2:01:06

of the internet, you know, like the Lord

2:01:06

put that for you on there for a reason.

2:01:09

There's farms on Google for a reason. Use all this stuff and start, uh,

2:01:11

go into the farmers, help them out.

2:01:14

Cause like I said, even a butcher

2:01:14

is a middleman, you know, like it's

2:01:17

nothing wrong with saying you go to a

2:01:17

butcher, but, you Go to the farms, man.

2:01:20

Help them out. Give, give back to where

2:01:21

we're getting from. All right.

2:01:26

Last but not least, Sean,

2:01:26

take us out of here.

2:01:30

Awesome, man. Yeah. Like, like these other guys, man.

2:01:33

Thanks for having me on. I appreciate the opportunity

2:01:34

to come share with you guys.

2:01:36

Um, Larry J T and uh, John

2:01:36

Wick, uh, Brian, sorry.

2:01:42

It's, it's all good, man. I enjoy being able to.

2:01:46

Converse back and forth with you guys and

2:01:46

share thoughts and actions and fellowship.

2:01:50

It's always good. Um, you know, It like a lot was mentioned

2:01:51

like brian was mentioning about the

2:01:56

community community is important. We're not meant to do life alone

2:01:58

Um, you know, we don't get to

2:02:01

choose whether or not we're gonna

2:02:01

struggle That's a fact of life.

2:02:05

We're going to struggle. We're going to face adversity

2:02:06

and circumstances are going to

2:02:09

not always be ideal, but we do

2:02:09

get to choose what we suffer for.

2:02:16

So there's no sense in

2:02:16

a suffering needlessly.

2:02:20

Whenever we don't have to and having the

2:02:20

community that's strong that's together

2:02:27

may not make the burden any less, but

2:02:27

it can make it lighter because there's

2:02:31

more of us to help carry the burdens

2:02:31

together and get to where we're going.

2:02:34

So just keep that in mind, get

2:02:34

involved with community so you can

2:02:39

get that encouragement so you can get

2:02:39

that inspiration so that somebody's

2:02:43

going to share something that might. Be the one little tip that changes the

2:02:45

trajectory of, you know, your progress.

2:02:50

So, um, I appreciate you guys

2:02:50

can't overstate that enough.

2:02:54

You guys come hang out with

2:02:54

us for 24 hours next weekend.

2:02:58

It's going to be crazy. See if I can stay awake. It's going to, be awesome though.

2:03:03

Sure. What does that start? What is that? Okay. I'm sorry.

2:03:09

When does that start and

2:03:09

end the 24 hour live stream?

2:03:13

Oh, so it's going to start

2:03:13

Saturday morning at 8 o'clock.

2:03:16

Well, I guess it's 8 o'clock. I don't know if it's 8 o'clock Eastern

2:03:18

time my time or 8 o'clock Central time

2:03:21

carries time, but uh I think it's 8

2:03:21

o'clock my time, but I may be wrong.

2:03:26

It's like 7 to 7, 8 to 8 on your time.

2:03:29

Yeah, it's, it's seven, seven or eight,

2:03:29

one of the two, but around next Saturday.

2:03:34

Yeah. It's a Saturday morning, Sunday morning.

2:03:37

So Sunday, next Sunday, when

2:03:37

we have our live on here, then

2:03:40

we'll, that'll be an after, after

2:03:40

we'll be able to talk about it.

2:03:44

So, yeah. Okay. Hey, Sean, I need your

2:03:46

photo for the thumbnail.

2:03:48

When you get a chance to email me a photo. Okay.

2:03:50

All right. Got you, brother. Yeah, no problem.

2:03:53

Yeah, this is fun. I appreciate the invite, man.

2:03:55

And I'm about to go buy some meat now

2:03:55

and some whipped tallow for the lotion.

2:04:00

I missed this. Somebody threw this

2:04:02

out in a comment to me. I just want to make sure

2:04:03

I put this out there.

2:04:06

2:04:26

2:04:35

of you for being here today.

2:04:38

2:04:38

2:04:40

2:04:40

want to get in here, let me know.

2:04:43

I'm going to keep it down to four to five. Carnivores and we'll continue doing this.

2:04:47

This was a great live. I think we did a lot of good

2:04:48

information and spread a lot

2:04:51

of good love to everybody. John, you got to end your streams

2:04:52

now to say, stay wild, stay wild.

2:04:57

You know, carnivore lifestyle, stay wild.

2:05:00

Absolutely.
