This was one of the first True-Crime Podcasts I started listening to and it still is my favorite and model podcast. It is engaging, well-researched, and most refreshing of all for this genre, it isn't exploitative. The host and the team deal with these sensitive topics and cases with respect for the victims and the appropriate amount of reverence. If you want to truly learn about a case, Casefile will always be the place to go. They have the most information on the case and they can really immerse you in the narrative.

Love this...difficult material sometimes but always brilliantly and respectfully presented.

This is the best true crime podcast out there. The episodes are thoroughly researched, maybe even too thorough but I'll take that over lack of research any day. I really appreciate that the host keeps his opinions out of the narrative and tells the story of the case as it unfolded. He handles the topics with sensitivity and overall it's just a really great podcast.

Extremely interesting, amazing format. No ads!In casefile podcast it will introduce you with many true crime stories and often some you haven't heard before by one who know very well how to do podcast.

Regarding informative and atmospheric true crime, this is for sure one of the best!

This is far and away the most consistent and strong true crime podcast I have come across. I found it when it already had 100+ episodes in the bank and I binged them within a few weeks. Still a weekly listen.

I wish all podcasts were like this one.

Great podcast with many episodes, but there is WAY too much detail in these episodes. We don’t need to know what a victim ate for lunch or what they wore to school, or know the background of every person involved in the story. So much of this could be left out and it wouldn’t hinder the story one bit. This makes many episodes take too long to get to the meat of the story, and I often say out loud to “get on with it!” Detail is good but this goes way to far, far too often and I often end up fast forwarding until I get to information I actually want to hear. I’ll keep listening, as there are many stories in the series and overall they are done well.

One of the most informative, well-researched and narrated true crime podcasts I've ever listened to. This is the podcast which all others get compared to! I definitely recommend this without a shadow of a doubt!

All hail Casefile! Casefile is quite frankly one of the best true crime podcasts out there and I view it as the gold standard based on the CS team's excellent research, fact checking, production and story-telling. The Narrator delivers factual and engaging cases in a way that empathizes with the victims. The music is subtle and effective, adding to the atmosphere without taking away from the main focus: the story. The research and production continues to be high quality. I don't know how many people i've recommended this podcast to but its been a fair few. Keep up the great work!
