Love love love this podcast! One of my favorites.
This was one of the first True-Crime Podcasts I started listening to and it still is my favorite and model podcast. It is engaging, well-researched, and most refreshing of all for this genre, it isn't exploitative. The host and the team deal with these sensitive topics and cases with respect for the victims and the appropriate amount of reverence. If you want to truly learn about a case, Casefile will always be the place to go. They have the most information on the case and they can really immerse you in the narrative.
The narrator's voice is too soothing, so I miss a lot of what he is saying.
Great podcast, excellent research and detail provided in each episode. One of the first true crime pods I listened to, and still one of my favorites. The Australian accent is a bonus.
It's not bad but I'm not sure why this show is so highly rated. Overly long episodes which could be half the length. The writing is very turgid and the narration is monotonous. It will appeal to those who are new to true crime, but if you've been listening to podcasts for a while and are a genuine true crime fan, you're better off with shows like Prash's Murder Map, Evidence of a Crime and Trace Evidence.
The detail in this podcast is outstanding, for every case you seem to find out more than you would from any other source. The way it is done is brilliant, none of that stupid pointless often giggly chatter between presenters that you often get that can make you just want to turn it off, unsubscribe, and find an alternative. Incredibly informative, each must be researched to the nth degree. Superb.
This is far and away the most consistent and strong true crime podcast I have come across. I found it when it already had 100+ episodes in the bank and I binged them within a few weeks. Still a weekly listen.
Love the way this podcast is presented. Always interesting and well researched.
I love this podcast! I Thoroughly researched and informative. Anonymous has a fantastic voice for storytelling. He keeps me on the edge of my seat. I am never bored listening to this podcast.
My favourite true crime podcast.
Straightforward storytelling of gripping crimes.
Great stories. Sounds a bit low budget though. Slightly monotonic.
Extremely interesting, amazing format. No ads! In casefile podcast it will introduce you with many true crime stories and often some you haven't heard before by one who know very well how to do podcast.
Three months ago I started at the beginning. This is fun and thorough story-telling. I love when red herrings seemingly get thrown in, and you actually wonder if this is the one who "did it." Excellent Writing Excellent Narrator Excellent Music & Engineering
Regarding informative and atmospheric true crime, this is for sure one of the best!
The best true crime podcast out there, stories are told with compassion and fact. I cannot recommendation Casefile highly enough!
I wish all podcasts were like this one.
I absolutely love this podcast! One of my favorites! Its so well done and the narrators voice is soothing and nice to listen to. The quality is great. I can harldly wait for new epidodes! Thank you for putting out an amazing podcast!!!
Hands down my number one favourite podcast. I love true crime, especially when it’s well researched and an effort has been made to make it interesting. It’s nice to find a true crime podcast that is t just two knobs crapping on an out their opinion of crimes and is filled with ads. And big bonus points for one that is actually voiced by an Australian. Please keep the episodes coming. Probably the only podast I would consider actually paying for if it wasn’t free. ?
