This episode looks at M&A opportunities across EMEA and what is changing in deals. Whilst, as anticipated, we are seeing distressed M&A, there is plenty of “business as usual” activity too, including deals that went on hold during lockdown or have been revived where the pandemic has operated as a driver. We are also seeing governments as parties in M&A, acting to protect companies and sectors of particular national importance or critical sensitivity.
