Welcome back to Catwalk Through Life.
It’s a complete honor to be joined in today’s very important episode by Grief Specialist, Death Educator, Author, Speaker, and my old Psychology college professor, Dr. Bob Baugher!
This episode goes out to anyone who is grieving or trying to cope with loss. Dr. Bob explains the stages of grief, some different types of grief, ways to find support, helpful practices to incorporate in your grieving process, and so much more. He offers books, videos and articles to help guide one through each grieving moment.
Author of many books, like Coping With Grief, Dr. Bob is incredibly knowledgeable and decades of experience in this field. His website www.bobbaugher.com is a wonderful resource to help those who need support. He is also part of an amazing support group that offers friendship, understanding and hope for bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents called Compassion Friends (www.compassionatefriends.org).
We discuss many aspects of grief and loss, how to explain death to children, the feeling of guilt, suicide, and much more. Dr. Bob also answers a few questions from listeners and shares his own stories of loss and how he went through his own grieving process.
I truly hope this episode can help many through coping with loss and anyone needing support while grieving.
