I have to be honest: I don’t like crafts. I love celebrating in over-the-top ways and hosting others in my home and building balloon arches and my heart truly does beat faster for a well-executed themed party. But I don’t enjoy crafting. Or truly any tedious tasks where there is potential for my inner-critic to get real noisy and to suck the fun out of the whole process. As I’ve learned to build confidence in party planning and still like myself by the end of it, there’s a few “hacks” I’ve turned to that are simple, but a big help for this. And I’m sharing them with you here today.

In this episode we’ll cover 5 hacks for hosting an intentional, personalized party without a bunch of artistic ability, such as:

  1. Customized themed graphics
  2. Signage solutions when you don’t like your handwriting
  3. Food that tastes good and looks good
  4. Do it once... and then repeat, reuse, recycle
  5. Pay attention to your strengths and press in to those

Don’t miss how I’ve made these five hacks serve me and my people well in the course of hosting and party-planning!
