There may never be a more critical offseason and upcoming season for the Boston Celtics then this offseason and the 2020/2021 NBA Season. The Boston Celtics after losing for the 3rd time in 4 seasons in the Eastern Conference Finals. Now face the realty that they are no longer alone at the top of the NBA mountain as the Lakers have tied them for the most championships in NBA History and are primed to potentially pass them next season if the Celtics dont do something or get the benefit of someone else stopping the Lakers for them. However before the Celtics can even start planning on what they are gonna do to try and prepare themselves to right the ship in what will be a more tougher Eastern Conference next season they and all the other NBA teams must wait for the NBA Owners, Players Association and the Commissioner to come to an agreement on several key issues for next season. From what the salary cap and luxury tax amounts will be so teams know what they are faced with once they are ready to start making deals in free agency and the trade market. To the discussion of when the season will actually start and what the parameters of the scheduled will look like.
