Jake Nannen is the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Elkhorn South High School, competing in Nebraska’s largest classification (Class A). In the beginning of his sixth season as a head coach, Nannen owns a 70–53 overall record, with a proven track record of building fast paced offenses.

Since taking over at Elkhorn South in 2023, Nannen has led one of the most statistically improved teams in school history. During his first season, the Storm set multiple offensive school records, including 222 made three-pointers (Top 10 Class A History), 17 made 3s in a game (Top 5 Class A History), earned the most wins since 2019–20, and saw major gains in scoring (3rd most PPG in school history), ball movement, and efficiency. His impact earned him recognition as a Top 5 finalist for the Omaha Metro MBCA Class A Coach of the Year.
