Today’s guest is a friend of mine Karen Maurice O’Leary – Karen is from New Zealand and she and her husband Rua travelled to Ireland some years back and Karen and I were working at the same PR firm and I just loved her instantly. They were the most beautiful couple and literally adored each other – they certainly left an impression on me.

I’ll let Karen tell her story of what happened when they left Ireland and travelled back, settling into life in New Zealand. She has an important lesson for all of us about the ordinary in life and how important all that is. We talk about work life balance and why we get so wrapped up in what we do for a living that sometimes we forget it’s only a small part of who we are.

Karen has poured a tough experience into helping others and is making changes in some of the biggest corporations in the world helping people work smarter, not harder.
