This week I’m taking you along as I remember my military experience, why I enlisted, how September 11th played a crucial role in my soldier experience, and what war really does to a girl from the suburbs.

After going back through and listening to this episode, I will admit, I definitely glossed over a few things. It certainly wasn’t intentional, but I will make sure to circle back around in another episode to get into the gory details of basic training and war in Iraq.
