The characters of Masks are going to live in my heart for a long time! The players and GM bounce off one another very well, making for deliciously complex relationships between their characters, who are all, in their own ways, really very sweet. Tonally each episode balances the serious with the sweet in a way that I find lovely to listen to :)

Like any good actual play podcast, Chapter and Multiverse rests on the shoulders of the relationship that the players have with one another at the table and outside of the table. Chapter and Multiverse is another fantastic product from Rusty Quill, and Rusty Quill seems to be it's own little family and what's better then listening to found family sitting around the table and rolling the dice with one another. It's also lovingly produced by folks who love the format, the players are all fantastically witty and fun, and each episode seems to approach the listening experience with a well guided hand

The spiritual successor to RQG! It only has one of the same players (Lydia) but in true RQ fashion, it becomes a socially awkward found family in an incredibly short amount of time anyway. Having learned from the grueling experience of running a 7 year long Pathfinder campaign, C&M promises instead to tell many stories cycling through many different TTRPG systems, all set in the same fictional city of Chapter. The first and current campaign uses the Masks system and features characters being recruited for an organization of superheroes, but they each have their secrets. If you really like character driven narratives then I can't recommend RQ enough just in general, but ESPECIALLY their actual plays. The oneshot specials often include guests alongside some of the regular players and are always a lovely chaotic time.
