Pro Women's soccer is exploding with growth in 2024 and a big part of it is happening right here in Charlotte with the Carolina Ascent set to join the new USL Super League women's first division, with matches starting later this summer.

We caught up with Super League President Amanda Vandervort the morning after a big launch party for the Ascent, talking about how her background as an artist helps her with the business of the league, why she wants these new clubs to feel like Home for fans and players alike, and the process of making peoples' lives better through soccer.
