Dave Kelly is that mythical water housing maker that you hear about..but you can't quite tell if you know him or just know about him. His name is spoken by many a professional IN ocean image maker and he's responsible for providing the housing for some of Australia's most iconic surf footage and art.A surf photographer that carved out a living shooting for magazines Dave decided he needed a water housing to get unique images that he could continue to sell to publications..thus was born Dave Kelly Water Housings...a former trade qualified car body repairer Dave honed his skills in the Australian mining town of Newcastle, where he still resides. The regular image taker of a young Matt Hoy and Luke Egan, Dave tells us his thoughts on all things ocean imagery, life and what artists today should be doing to succeed.I love talking to the veterans of the game, this one's a long one...but a good one.
