We don't just keep secrets from others, we keep them from ourselves too. Those un-forbidden conversations we will not allow ourselves to have with ourselves, or with anyone else either.

Brene Brown said: A person's success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he or she is willing to have.

What makes us believe our lives should be comfortable, and if they are not, we can't go on? We can't face it? What if the discomforting thought or conversation is all happening in your mind and isn't even real - at all.

Is it just something you tell yourself?

When we experience internal emotions What would happen if you did something different? What would happen if you could? What might change if you didn't use the old ways and instead went for what is different, this time?
