Join the guys as they answer a few questions aimed at Brits! (Shamelssly pinched from Reddit. Link in “more”)

In this episode Fox and Cohan answer questions from AskReddit (http://ribba.co/5T)! Let us know if you enjoy this format as it was something a little different than what we’re used to. If we do more like it we’ll rehearse the questions rather than just rattle them off a Kindle. Probs add some tasty graphics too!

Questions answered in this episode:

  • One of my coworkers is British. He asked me if I’d like him to make me a cup of tea. I politely declined, and he has been cold and stand-offish with me ever since. Did I violate some sort of sacred rite or something by refusing this man’s tea?
  • Spaniard here. Can you behave when you come down here?
  • How do you spend your one day of sunshine each year? Is it considered a holiday?
  • Is it true that each city or county has its own accent?
  • How is your relationship with the Irish?
  • You alright?
  • Is tea really that big a thing there?
  • Any luck catching them swans then?
  • How realistic is The Inbetweeners?
  • Is your PM as big of a douche as he’s portrayed as being in the news?
  • But really, how much do you love Fish & Chips?
  • Is the healthcare system really that great? In the US, those against universal healthcare talk about the long lines, the lack in research and development, and other problems that develop as a result of universal healthcare. What is your experience?
  • Does it get confusing using metric, imperial and English units of measurement in day to day life?
  • Can anyone tell me what happens when the queen reaches 100, like does she send a card to herself or?
  • Does everyone really love Stephen Fry as much as I (non-UK person) do?
  • What… What are crumpets?…
  • Are there no commercials on BBC TV channels?
  • Beans on Toast?
  • Why does Nando’s have to be cheeky? what’s wrong with regular Nando’s?
  • Why aren’t you shipping Jelly Tots abroad anymore?
  • What character on Peep Show do you fancy the most? I’m partial to Big Suze.
  • Like eskimos with snow, do you have 100 different words for rain?
  • Why vinegar? ALWAYS with the vinegar…
  • Do you like your accents as much we like your accents?
  • What do you think of how multicultural Britain is?
  • Is getting drunk then getting a kebab really that popular? Why?
  • Is Mr Blobby supposed to be terrifying?
  • What do you think of the current gun laws in the United Kingdom?
  • How do you pronounce “Worcestershire” in Worcestershire sauce?
  • Mcvities Digestives are absolutely fucking fantastic, I eat a whole package whenever I find them in the states. Do you guys find them as amazing as I do or are they boring to you? Also, why are they called digestives? They don’t seem to be anything more than a cookie.
  • Why do you have carpet in your toilets?
  • What is the difference between arse and ass?
  • Are there any warmer weather areas in the UK?
  • What is it with the banter? I have a bunch of friends from the UK that I play games with and everything is banter. It seems to me that some of the younger (and the immature older ones) ones use it more like an excuse to be a dick rather than for it to be actual banter.
  • Is there a line where you guys draw where it stops being banter and someone is just being a knobhead? Or as an American am I just more sensitive to things like that?
