The Bay of Plenty District Health Board has apologised for wrongly requesting passports from Pacific people in line for a Covid-19 vaccine. While there's no requirement to show ID to get a vaccine, some members of the Pasifika community say they were asked to produce their passports to get a vaccine in the Bay of Plenty. Director General of Health tried to clear up the confusion saying identification is only required if people don't have an NHI number. Andrew Mcrae has more.
