You may remember we had three members of the band Westbound Situation on the Chenango Sessions back in 2019. Today, we have the full quartet for you. The four met in 2016 at Mike Marshall's Acoustic Music Seminar (AMS) in Savannah, Georgia. Each year, AMS accepts 16 talented string players under the age of 22 from around the world to participate in a week of intense improvisation, composition and performance training. Westbound Situation is now based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and they stopped through Binghamton in March of 2020 for a living room show, which I recorded for you. So find a comfy spot on the couch, sit back, relax, and please join me for the next hour as we give a warm welcome to Westbound Situation, on the Chenango Sessions.
