Four. Yeah,

0:06

very proud of this team. A big turnaround from

0:08

last year. Being in this same locker

0:11

room talking to you you guys, it's a whole whole another

0:13

different feeling than pretty much opposite

0:15

from last year. Um, so

0:18

it feels great, but we

0:20

also realize like how we've got to this point,

0:22

and that's just taking care of the little things, taking care of each

0:24

other, coming to work every day, loving what you

0:26

do, love the guy next to you, and just taking

0:28

it one game, one day at a time. And then you just look

0:30

back and you got twelve wins and

0:33

you're playing at home in the playoffs, and we're excited

0:35

for this next opportunity, and uh, if

0:37

we just keep doing what we're doing, hopefully we could do something special

0:40

and uh and keep it rolling especially

0:49

Yeah, for sure, just taking it one play at a time

0:51

really is. Um. We had a couple

0:53

of big conversions there, and we did

0:55

a great job running the ball all day to keep him

0:57

honest, and it all start ups up

1:00

front. The only reason we're able to get those conversions

1:03

and in big run game is because

1:05

of our offensive line. The wholes they're creating. The

1:07

pass pro all game didn't light

1:09

up a sack didn't really have much pressure, did

1:12

a good job mixing up with a quick game and running

1:14

it. And then when you get into the third

1:16

down, that's the money down you got to convert, and

1:18

especially against the defense who was really good on third

1:21

down. We know that. So just

1:23

just for me, it was just finding completions, moving

1:25

the sticks. But it

1:27

always starts up front, them giving me time, just

1:29

seeing the defense and making the throws that we

1:32

do in practice all week.

1:37

You guys, yeah,

1:43

it's tough. You got three of our top

1:45

receivers out and you knew, you guys how to step

1:47

in. Step in. keV made a couple

1:49

of big catches, Javan made a couple of great

1:51

catches, and uh, it just it's

1:54

a testament to how they're working in practice,

1:56

just waiting for the opportunity, and when their opportunity came,

1:58

it took full advantage. And and

2:00

it's great to see. This was a tough environment. We

2:03

are already in the playoffs. They're fighting for one

2:05

and U for us to come out and play the way we did

2:08

all three phases, I think it says a lot about

2:10

this team. And but now you just got

2:12

to erase that it's a blank slate. And we're getting ready

2:14

for this run and we're excited to play at home, but

2:18

I think it'll just prepare us

2:20

for this run we're about to go

2:22

on. Playing in a tough environment like that and having

2:24

young guys step up and make plays when

2:27

your numbers called upon. You just gotta do what you gotta do for the

2:29

team. And it was awesome to see out of those guys

2:34

for sure.

2:37

Yeah, yeah,

2:40

I think you are. What

2:42

you've been through and the experiences you've gone

2:44

through, and obviously our tough road wins this season

2:47

are going to help us in any situation. So

2:50

if we just continue to do what we've done all your long

2:52

stick together, play one one play at a time,

2:54

and be great communicators. That's the toughest

2:56

thing when it gets loud, just communicating personnels

2:59

in the huddle, getting to the scrimmage and not letting

3:01

them tee off on the snap count.

3:03

So if you just communicate and we

3:05

work on that all throughout practice and it pays

3:07

pays off a big time and a win like

3:09

that. So, um, we're at home

3:11

this week, and when we get to an away game, we'll

3:13

deal with it then. But we're just focused on

3:15

one day, one week, at a time and getting back to work

3:18

and preparing for the next game. Uh.

3:23

It didn't going off our favor, and we weren't

3:25

very efficient on offense

3:27

last year. So I just got to go back to work this

3:29

week, prepare and and make sure

3:31

we don't have that feeling from the game when we play them last

3:33

year. It's

3:36

nice he creates creates some big

3:38

holes up front. I think he just gives confidence

3:41

to everyone on the offense just having that presence

3:43

out there, him moving guys and getting

3:45

it going and with pass pro in and

3:47

the run game. So very

3:50

very happy for him. I know it's just

3:52

tough being out for that long,

3:54

especially when when you want to be out there so bad with

3:56

your guys. And I'm happy for him and the way he played

3:58

today and stepped in and hopefully

4:00

he could play even more next week because it is

4:02

a tremendous presence to have him back in the huddle.

4:05

Uh. And every single play,

4:14

yeah, for sure. When uh, I mean

4:17

when you get single high and pressed up on the outside,

4:19

we gotta make make teams play so they can't stack

4:21

the box against us. And they had

4:23

to change something up on defense because when you

4:25

when you're running the ball as well as we did. Uh,

4:27

they change it up, so we just called

4:30

called a great play a call. It all started starts

4:32

up front, like I said, in great pass protection, and

4:35

Taylor ran a heck of a route and I just put it in a spot

4:37

where he could go make a play. So he made a heck of a catch,

4:39

and I felt like that was a big play for momentum

4:42

and finishing that drive and just making uh,

4:45

those big plays you gotta have throughout the game. So

4:48

it was when we get pressed up and sing

4:50

them up on the outside, we gotta make teams play and we just got

4:52

to continue to work on that and get better to

4:55

run game success. Yeah,

4:59

Um, they gotta an extra hat down the box

5:01

when you're moving guys creating holes. Um,

5:03

you can't just tee off and play

5:07

too high the whole game. You got to bring an extra

5:09

hat in the box, which they did, which creates

5:11

one on one matchups opportunities on the outside.

5:13

And you just change it up. But for us,

5:15

it's just we just want to keep defenses off balance. We don't

5:17

want them to tee off on the run or the pass. Um

5:20

just keep being efficient, staying out of third lungs.

5:22

I felt like we were pretty good on first and second down today.

5:24

Just keeping that rhythm and when

5:27

you get the run going, game going and have positive

5:29

plays, then it's just it makes it harder run

5:31

a defense. We

5:36

had, we had a good game. Uh in the run

5:38

of game. Every every day game is different and

5:40

you never know how you're gonna have to need

5:43

to win the game. You just come out and you

5:45

play every single game. So we know we

5:47

got talented running backs, we got a great old line

5:49

who creates those holes. So we're just taking

5:51

what defenses give us, and when something works,

5:53

we're gonna stick with it and if it's not, then

5:55

change it up and do what we got to do is offense. But those

5:57

are just adjustments you make throughout the game. But

6:00

we got a little bit of everything, which is hopefully

6:02

tough for defensive to defend,

6:05

and uh, whatever's working, you just kind of just kind

6:07

of roll with it. And uh, but we feel like

6:09

we have a really good run game and when you when

6:11

you have that going, then it kind of opens up everything else.

6:23

Just having a different mindset and preparing

6:26

really hard on a weekly basis, watching a lot of

6:28

film, started doing with the quarterbacks

6:31

and just knowing exactly what is

6:34

expected of me on every single play and

6:36

just go out there and do it. So just making great decisions

6:38

and being out there with my guys and

6:41

doing what they need me to do. So it all

6:43

starts on the huddle, communication leading, getting

6:45

them to the line of scrimmage and just going through your reads.

6:47

And when you have great pass pro and

6:49

guys getting open on the outside, it

6:52

makes making good decisions decisions

6:54

a lot easier. So that's what I've been doing, and it's

6:56

kind of just been a mindset, take what the defense gives

6:59

me. Man Hopefully the splash plays

7:01

will come. We only had one deep one today, but

7:03

uh, it was pretty efficient moving the ball

7:05

and the big on third down, so I just got to do my job.

7:13

It was good. We got a lot of reps in practice

7:15

this week and they continue to practice their tails

7:17

off, and uh,

7:19

I mean it's really tough when you don't get a lot of

7:21

reps um and the only

7:23

repster are getting or against practice squad, going against

7:26

our defense. But they're constantly competing and

7:28

we see the routes they run, and then it's just getting those extra

7:31

reps after practice, getting on the same timing and just

7:33

going out there and being in the right spot at the right time. And

7:35

they're both gifted athletes and great receivers,

7:37

so um, they they they

7:39

got big frames and they just go out there and embody

7:41

people up and get open. So it was good

7:44

to see. And if they get more opportunities,

7:46

they just need to continue to make a great place

7:48

for this team.

7:53

Yeah. Uh

7:56

yeah, so the original it

7:58

was for but then if the clocks run down,

8:00

then you got short n it to two, which he probably liked,

8:03

but coaching as one to see four, so he

8:05

called time out, uh to get

8:07

the plan, and yeah, it tired

8:09

him out a little bit, but he said he's the he's

8:12

the most in shape person on the team, So, um,

8:15

I guess that's why we use them there. And it was a great

8:17

distraction and a big two point conversion

8:19

and the heck of a catch by Quick

8:21

So the

8:26

second Yeah,

8:32

for sure, every time we step on the field, we want to win.

8:35

And I think it just shows the

8:37

maturity on this team that we

8:39

weren't looking ahead, we weren't thinking about sitting

8:41

out. We just do exactly

8:43

what's asked for us. And then when we when we when

8:46

you strap it on, when you put that Bears Jersey

8:48

on the Your only thing about one thing now, and that's going

8:50

out there competing and trying to win.

8:52

So I think it was important

8:54

that we were just focused on the main thing,

8:57

and that's just playing one snap at a time

8:59

and doing the best we can. Thanks everybody,
