On this episode we get into some of the best battle scenes of all time. Ranging from the one man armies of Bruce Lee and Hit Girl, the bloody scenes of WW2, wild west shootouts and of course the greatest cinematic siege of all time at the Battle of the Hornberg in the Third Age of Middle Earth. We compare notes on why these battles take on such a lasting impression, from more than just the excitement and action of which they contain, but the interesting ideas and motivations of those involved. There are people who go to war without ever taking up arms just as much as there are others who take up arms to lay their lives on the line to save people for no reward save the fact that it is the right thing to do. As wars are such complex concepts, we're sure you'll enjoy the discussion of all the ways and forms that they take place across cinema.
