On Thursday, the Supreme Court tied in a 4-4 decision on the United States v. Texas case, preventing President Obama's executive action on immigration from moving forward. As a result, the more than 5 million immigrant families awaiting implementation of DAPA and DACA+ that would provide them much needed relief from deportation were left to continue to wait. Juanita and the production team were able to be at the Supreme Court minutes after the ruling was announced to talk with families who were directly impacted by the decision. Sons, daughters, mothers and fathers talked about their devastation and their anger, but also their hopes for the future and their motivation to keep fighting.
