Today, pastor Eddie teaches from 1 John 5:1-5. We can have assurance of our salvation. A person who believes Jesus is the Son of God is born again. The Spirit testified that Jesus came by water and blood. Anyone born of God does not continue to sin. God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. The true Christian overcomes the world by his faith and demonstrates his salvation by obeying God's commands—and they are not burdensome.
