Sermon for Epiphany 2. The Scripture readings are Amos 9:11-15; Ephesians 5:22-33; and John 2:1-11.

Human marriage is defined by Christ’s relationship to the church. Marriage doesn’t give us a picture of the Church’s relationship to Christ. Christ’s relation to the Church gives us a picture of what our marriages should look like (Eph. 5:31-32).
