North Clare residents have been expressing extreme frustration following a breakdown in their postal service. Liscannor's long-standing postman retired last week, and after An Post's succession plan fell through, the village was left without a delivery service for three days. An Post has since confirmed that full local service has resumed in the area and it's working towards a permanent solution. North Clare Fianna Fáil Councillor Shane Talty says the lack of planning is unacceptable and has caused severe distress for local residents.
