Jimmy Hall is one of the founding members of the rock band Wet Willie. Hall has had a long and storied career, playing with everyone from Hank Williams Jr. to the Allman Brothers Band. Hall toured extensively in recent years with Jeff Beck and Beck’s show from the Hollywood Bowl was released on DVD on Oct. 6.
“Jimmy’s a terrific, soulful singer and an accomplished blues harp player, adding a depth to the Jeff’s searing guitar work,” said ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons to the Sun Herald. “We were delighted to spend time on deck with Jeff and Jimmy as the compliment of ZZ Top and Jeff Beck’s outfit together made a romp around the world.”
Jimmy Hall joins us on the #ClarkCast where he discusses his career and his friendship with the late Gregg Allman.
Plus, Sun Herald Features and Sports Editor Scott Hawkins stops by to preview Friday’s Marquee and we talk about Mike Judge’s new Cinemax show “Tales From The Tour Bus.”
