In this next installment of Clay's Cortex Podcast Curtis & Jazz talk about how exercise is ESSENTIAL.

 

During this COVID-19 "Pandemic" most gyms/ studios/ personal training services were put on halt. But from the research and science behind exercise it should be categorized as an ESSENTIAL service for what it can do for you immune system and for the overall health benefits.

 

Jazz and I dive into the reasons why exercise is ESSENTIAL for ALL of us to either build up your immune system, repair it, and even optimize it.

 

During the episode we both came to realization that yes exercise is ESSENTIAL but... working with a true exercise professional is where the word ESSENTIAL should be inserted.

 

For the majority of the episode we talk about why working with an exercise professional is ESSENTIAL to help exercise become as beneficial as possible.

 

We talk about:

- Exercise is Medicine (dosing exercise appropriately | movements, reps, sets, frequency, etc...)

- Why we do an Assessment

- Why build a plan from an Assessment

- Taking Notes

- Communicating with Medical Providers

- Doing copious amounts of research to remove our bias to maximize our clients training experiences with us.

The list goes on.

 

Jazz and I first met in 2012/2013 at a course in Denver, Colorado which led us to where we are now. We talk a bit about the Muscle System Specialist Program (Exercise Professional Education) and how it has been helpful to showing how ESSENTIAL exercise is for our bodies. Movement is crucial for cognitive health, physical health, emotional health, and immune health.
