Carey Davis-Munro and Julian Roberts are interviewing coaches, to understand their story of why they became a coach and the journey that got them to here today. We want to get behind the coach and reveal the person in the coach.
Back in the summer of 2019, a chance meeting at a training event run by the Coaching Academy, found us both eating lunch on a table together. It’s one of the best things to come out of days like this. A bonus on top of the event itself! Finding like-minded people with whom you immediately form a connection and with whom there is a very obvious synergy. Since that event, we have kept in contact, followed one another’s progress and observed that there is more than just casual congruence between Leadership and Well-being. In fact in discussions about our individual approach and ethos, we have found much common ground. So much so that we started to observe areas of interest that we would like to pass on; to both open up the conversations on coaching, and to validate the concept itself. Coaching is often misinterpreted and indeed, with the market swamped by those both unqualified and qualified, it can get some bad press which lowers the reputation of the invaluable work we do. Excited by our own exploration in to who we are and why we do what we do, we both wanted to offer a platform for other fellow coaches for whom we both have immense personal respect, to do the same. The result….Coaching Conversations.
