One awesome listener of the podcast emailed me with a huge list of the different Easter Eggs in CotBP and DMC... so here they are.Special thanks to Christopher Kawamoto who sent these to me!*Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl Easter Eggs 1. Monkey Steals a Coin: When you are through watching the movie, wait through all the credits. At the end there will be one last short sequence which is humorous! 2.Hidden CGI Scenes: On Disc 2, from the Main Menu, access the 'Below Deck' option. Now, highlight the 'Set Sail' option and press LEFT twice. The skull on the medalion should light up. Select it to watch various CGI scenes within the film! 3.Keith Richards Interview (Johny's Inspiration for Capt. 'Jack Sparrow'): On Disc 2, from the Main Menu, access the 'Moonlight Serenade' option. Now, highlight the 'Main Menu' option and press DOWN twice. The tooth should highlight. Select it to watch an interview with Keith Richards "Johny's Inspiration for Capt. Jack Sparrow"! 4.Japanese Trailer: On Disc 2, from the Main Menu access the 'Beyond Deck' option and select the 'Scene Index' option. Go to the second page of chapter stops. Highlight the 'Pirate Ships' option and press LEFT. This will highlight the "ring" on the skeleton's hand. Select it to reveal the Japanese trailer for the film! 5.Hidden Gold Coins: On Disc, from the Main Menu, access the 'Fly On The Set' option. Press RIGHT twice. This will select one of the "monkey's teeth". Select it to reveal a video of the creating of the set on the island where all the gold coins are hidden! 6.The Bulding Of The Cave: On Disc, from the Main Menu, highlight and select the "right fang". This will reveal a time lapse film showing the building of the pirate treasure cave! *Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl 3-Disc Edition 1. Disneyland Pirates Ride Commercial: On disc 3, go to the "More Fly on the Set" option, highlight "The Dock" and press UP 3 times. A "gold plate" should now be highlighted. Select it by pressing ENTER and you'll hear an original commercial for the Disneyland attraction from 1967, when the ride opened. *Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest 1. Twin Pirates On the first menu of the second disk, highlight "CREATING THE KRAKEN", then press left, up, up on your remote. A yellow bunch of grass will appear near the bottom of the screen. Press enter to view a short feature about the identical twin brothers who play the Twin Pirates. 2. Chopper The Dog On the first menu of the second disk, select "MASTERING THE BLADE". In the next menu, highlight "RETURN TO BONUS" and press left, down on your remote. The twin keyholes of the chest in the background will turn yellow. Press enter to view an amusing feature about Chopper, the key-holding dog from the first film who reprises his role for Dead Man's Chest 3. The Painter On the second menu, highlight "FLY ON THE SET: THE BONE CAGE" and press left, down, left on your remote. A yellow leaf will appear in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Press enter to view a short but entertaining clip featuring a stand-by painter 4.Catering On the first menu of the second disk, highlight "ACCORDING TO PLAN" and press left twice on your remote. A yellow leaf will appear in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Press enter to view a short feature on the production's catering crew 5.The Coconut Man On the first menu of the second disk, highlight "ACCORDING TO PLAN" and press left twice on your remote. A yellow leaf will appear in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Press enter to view a short feature on the production's catering crew.
