Or, from her sophomore novel that was published in 2020 called Follow me. Kathleen told me all about the role of the author when their work is adapted for the big screen, talking to her producer AKA REESE WITHERSPOON on a conference call(!!!), our mutual love for Lizzy Caplan and the cult-esque film Bachelorette (seriously watch it if you’ve never seen) and how Isla Fischer inspired the protagonist in her second novel.
