In this episode we discuss 4 concepts.

1. Breaking through obstacles .. being and elephant in a sense. Nothing stops them.
Meet your obstacles head on your body can handle it , your mind will lie to you and negotiate.
2. Making space fop yourself vs adding something new all the time. Example " I need to lose weight so I'll exercise 2 x a day." Really ? how about not having that bowl of potato chips every night or ice cream ?

3. Judgement vs prospective . This is a tough concept I work on daily.  We are so quick to judge ourselves with words like " should have , could have , would have and hindsight " . Vs seeing things for what they are. As well others our quick to judge us and other people. example " You are being foolish !"  " Why can't you do this or that ? " and on an on. As well we do it to ourselves many many times a day. I'm not talking about personally responsibility , I'm talking about seeing the forest from the trees and getting out of the weeds.

4. Victim vs Victor.  We all want to be heard. Don't we? This is why we have one mouth and 2 ears.  It's okay as a warrior to take a knee from time to time and ask for help. This is one of the key concepts of humanity , compassion and empathy. Now that doe not mean you can sit in your closet and suck your thumb for a year. That means recognizing what you have gone through. Realizing it's not your fault , it just is. Then making a plan to work through it with the right support people.  The journey to greatness  of a 1000's miles starts with the first step.  Take the step ands trust yourself . Move forward and don't look back!

This episode is dedicated to my Yoga mentor and good friend Anthony DiLuglio and Woods Yoga Lincoln RI
