The Lord taught in the bible that we should not cast our pearls to Swine. In D&C 10-11 we see a good example of what happened when we do. Joseph cast his friendship to Martin Harris who betrayed his trust which resulted in the loss of the 116 pages.  

In our lives, we sometimes trust too much in the wrong people and have faith in the wrong programs. In this episode, I touch on a few red flags that we should look for when inviting people into our lives.

 Avoid people that can't tell the difference between pearls and rotten tomatoes
Avoid those that follow the crowds rather than lead it
Avoid those that will that betray friends when times get tough
Avoid those that are easily influenced by other people
Avoid those that require proof of your integrity
Avoid those that love darkness rather than light

We become like the five people we hang around the most. These points will help you decide whether people in your lives are worthy of being an influence in your life.
