Whether you’re off on some remote island serving the Peace Corps, working 90-hour weeks in a bustling city, or unemployed and living at home, we recent graduates are bound by the common experience of navigating the world after graduating from college. This time, there is no course to teach us how to do it, and no grade to measure our success.
Commencement features the stories, music, advice, and honest reflections of graduates across the globe (myself included) as they tackle the challenges of post grad life: living and working in new cities and countries, combating illness and social isolation, starting professional careers, dating, and becoming financially independent. This podcast is not a ‘how-to-graduate-for-dummies’ guide, but rather an open dialogue about the reality of the world we face after graduating and a forum where recent graduates can support each other in a multiplicity of domains.
