What would you do if you did something you weren't supposed to do? Are you going to come forward and be honest about it? Are you going to hide it and try to find ways to keep it hidden? David chose the latter and it didn't turn out that well. He was caught and though he was "a man after God's heart" he still had to face the consequences of his choices.
