On this episode I speak with my old co-worker at the Ko'olau Mountains Watershed Partnership (KMWP) along with ride or die friend. Dylan comes from a background in Botany then pursued a career in conservation. Dylan is a self taught GIS Data Manager and he has made that position his own. He has created great advancements at KMWP by creating more efficient ways to identify invasive species through the use of drones and GIS technology. We walk through memory lane lamenting on our experiences in the field and how conservation has shaped us as humans. If you are looking to increase your knowledge of the tools used for acquiring data in the field through open source software then this is the episode for you!!
