Black American culture has always been the inspiration— but now it’s “mainstream.” … but still often times we don’t even get a seat at the table during the discussion. Black Americans care about national news, entertainment, family life and politics. Because of the sheer history of this country, our perspective will always be different.. and it will always matter. Forget a seat— this IS the table. This is what happens when we get a chance at Controlling Our Narrative.
