Some notes from the show:

Communication isn't just saying something, it's using strategies (ie sending emails after hours to make sure certain people understand you're putting forth your best effort)

Companies have to get better too - they're focused on numbers/next quarter etc... - It shouldn't all be focused on the parent.

Boundaries between work and home are blurred

Communication at home is critical too

What is OUR VISION for our life?

Figuring out what you want - it's constantly evolving

What are your priorities (not goals)

Stop, Start, Continue...

Stop:
What do i need to stop doing (give to spouse, outsource or get rid of)

Start:
What am I going to start doing to get to my goal

Continue:
What will I continue to do, what am i taking responsibility for

Maternal gate keeping "I can do it better myself" - how we can over come this?
