Ep 3:  Hey everyone!  It's Episode 3 of Crayons and Tantrums.  It's time to get real today. Have you ever found yourself saying things like; “You should know better”, “Act your age.” “Stop acting like a baby”, “Stop that.”  “Keep it up and….”

Are you guilty?  Hey, I’ve been guilty of saying similar things and probably some of those same things.  I’m not afraid to admit it.  There have been plenty of times in the classroom that I've had to take a step back and PAUSE.  I had to quickly ask myself if I was fairly setting appropriate expectations for my students or was I wanting them to act a certain way because it would just make my life a little easier in the moment.  Being that honest with myself wasn't easy, but it was necessary.
