Martinique Mims is a slam poet and a children's book author of "Through the Colors of a Butterfly". Her mission with both her book and new platform, The Color of Stories, is to uplift children and encourage them to be who they are. Martinique shares with us her own journey from not knowing what to do after college, to navigating a quarter-life crisis, to finding a community and mentorship, to bravely stepping into her own as an author and leader. She also shares some great tips on finding an illustrator for your book, self-publishing, as well as launching your book into the world.
