Charles and I were both volunteers at Making Midwest and were filming all of the talks. Charles has also made the short films for the Maker Series which feature some of the speakers at Making Midwest. One thing about Charles is that he does have a full-time job and Nuge Media is his side hustle. He does intend to make the jump to Nuge Media being his full-time gig in the near future and I’m glad he took the time to share his story because I think a lot of people don’t consider that as an option. I know I didn’t. I always thought I needed a well thought-out and bulletproof business plan before making the jump. But no, you can work on it on the side, build it up, and then make the jump. So I hope Charles’ story will inspire you to do the same because the main thing is to just start.
