Eyewitness misidentification is by far the leading cause of wrongful convictions. Nationwide, 75% of wrongful convictions that were overturned by DNA testing involved erroneous identifications from victims or witnesses. About Jules Epstein:

Jules Epstein is a Professor of Law and Director of Advocacy Programs at Temple University Beasley School of Law. He has authored dozens of articles and book chapters on criminal law and evidence topics. In recent years, Professor Epstein’s work has concentrated in eyewitness identification where he testifies as an expert witness.
