On June 18, 2021, Lauri Detherage was found shot dead in her home in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.  Her ex-husband, Robert McCloud had the key to her house.  They had remained friends since their divorce years ago.  However, her new remarriage sent ol' Bob over the edge.  He sent flash drives with confession videos to his family, entered Lauri's home and shot her, then proceeded to have a 10-hour standoff with law enforcement before being taken into custody.
