Welcome back to the nerdy news you need to know throughout the week on I

0:11

Heart Rady went by Gosh services around the world because my name's that Kevin and

0:19

you're official listening to this Thursday marvel packed episode of What cav Crisis Odd Infinite

0:27

god Hood You we're closer, inching close to that part of year. I

0:33

don't have to try my life soone for the whole podcast and I like it.

0:35

Well, this part, no, because we're recorded lady later than we

0:39

normally are. But you know in normal recording, yes, you're right two

0:43

months away, just like ooh dogg And guess what's two months away less than

0:48

that? Now wrestling? How many podcasts can I go without saying zero?

0:56

I am. I'm excited. I looked at some time. I'm looking on

1:00

the tickety talks of people in boxing those said titles, and I think I

1:03

know what I'm gonna get. I'm a little bit apprehensive though, on the

1:07

issue of Cody not winning and finishing the story and us being in Philly.

1:12

Well, here's the thing, He'll win one night at least, so that's

1:19

all I'm going for. That's a good point. But we got a jam

1:23

packed show for you today. Obviously, as in the title, we're talking

1:26

about that fantastic forecasting. We're talking about X Men ninety seven's trailer. Reacting

1:30

to that. I didn't give you update on what's happening with Xbox. Should

1:34

you invest still invest in one or not? Gon tell you about them.

1:37

Brell Academy talk about Invincible and if we have time, what would we want?

1:41

A Mace wind Do show. Maybe at the end of the podcast,

1:44

revenge that's all you want? He pops up in the race show some of

1:49

the ray movies somehow Oh you Palpatine's granduate you are under arrested, That is

2:00

what he would say. But yeah, you can see everything we talk about

2:02

so much more. We're going to Hot ninety nine five, dot com,

2:06

Slash Crisis Screw stay up to date with us on the social medis at Infinite

2:17

whenever they want. You can go watch dot tv, Slash Infinite Underscore Pods

2:23

2:30

2:39

Jac it jake it. Yeah, I like it all right, I

2:44

dig it, I dig it. Uh. But we always properly start the

2:46

podcast with what you're doing. We give the door closed over there, the

2:52

wind took it. Okay. There is a ghost in my apartment. Her

2:58

name is more Skelly, you know, just kidding. It happened to me yesterday I worked. I was just like walking in the hallway and the elevator

3:04

came out to my floor and the door opened, then the closed and went

3:07

away. I was like, m definitely on it. I'm not staying here

3:10

after five o'clock. I'm good. It's a good life model anyway. When

3:14

we talk about the things, we've been watching, games, we've been playing, lives we've been living. Because it is Thursday, yep, boy,

3:21

it gets to go first. Hello. My name is Hoodie. I love long walks on the beach, but I don't love going in the ocean.

3:27

That's a fun fact about me. I hate the ocean. I hate the

3:30

whole beach experience in general. I think it's over right. I'm a pool boy. You know I loved We're pool boys. Yeah, clean water,

3:37

no sand, sand, I'm fine with. It's just the pool. Just

3:40

the ocean gets everywhere. That's true too, that's true too. I just

3:45

want to bring a jar of sand if we go meet Hayden Christiansen and like, hey, can't give you this? He signed my sand? Like what

3:52

price range is a bottle of sand? Is that the low tier? Or is that the height tier? That's the highest? Here? Is that lightsaber

3:59

and Darth Vader home? It's the most expensive thing? But for me,

4:02

pretty much, I haven't done too much. Oh. Actually, I've been

4:06

catching up on God of War. I'm doing a lot of the side quest.

4:11

I just went into Tears Vault in the first Got of War twenty eighteen.

4:15

How far does that mean? I am Kevin if I'm going to Tears

4:18

Vault, not for the technically the first time, because you get attacked the

4:21

first time. But so you got a text person on you fought Thor's kids.

4:29

I just got I got the blades and a trace back. Now,

4:32

yeah, so you're you're in like the last the last third of the game.

4:36

All right, look at me. I did some man, I did

4:39

some work the past two days. Then the tray is still being a jerk.

4:43

Well he hasn't gotten nice again yet he knows he's a god, now

4:46

I'll say that. Okay, so it's about to get a little bit more one more, one more crazy things about to happen. But after that you'll

4:51

be kind of a nandgame, all right, Because because I was doing much

4:55

a side quest and I was like, wait a second, there's only four

4:58

spirits I had to raise. Oh okay, cool, doing great, doing

5:01

great? Have you freed the dragons? I freed one dragon. I haven't

5:08

seen the other ones. I'm like afraid to like go explore things, and

5:12

like, wait, I gotta get leveled up a little bit because I took

5:15

on two valkyries already barely survived. Thank God for the resurrection still because that's

5:20

helped me every time with those battles. And let me tell you, I

5:24

just hate the ice dudes. I don't even know if they're technically ice dudes,

5:27

but they're the stupidest thing to attack because either the shields or your weapons

5:30

don't work on them. Yeah, that's why I used to blaze man.

5:34

See the ice guy switched the fire switched a fire baby, But yeah,

5:39

enjoying that. I did this whole I guess it was Death Aisle, which

5:42

was a whole thing, and I really liked that because it was like three

5:44

separate islands that you thought were separate. We're all like chained back together once

5:48

you got to the top of it, which was cool. So I enjoyed

5:51

the story so far. I really like it. I mean, for me

5:56

not knowing anything God, I mean a base knowledge obviously of the original God

5:59

of War games. When they cut to Athena, I'm like, yeah,

6:02

I think that's what the end game of the last the original God of Wars

6:06

was about, and that's why he's like immortal and stuff. But besides that,

6:10

good you know, I love that line. You will always be a

6:14

monster, but I am your monster no longer. Yes, yes, that

6:17

was a good line. I like Brock a lot too. I look at

6:20

him. He's good. Brock's awesome. Sindry's awesome too, So Sindy's really

6:26

good in the second game, Oh God, Sindry, Oh my gosh,

6:30

can't wait. And then on top of that, we're doing more and I

6:33

are watching Traders season two. We talked about the first season. The second

6:38

season is all like Reality star people, and uh, it's pretty good.

6:41

I think having the reality star people may obviously added the drama more to that

6:46

show compared to like with normal people they don't know what the hell they're doing,

6:48

whereas the reality people like, oh yeah, I'm gonna play it up

6:51

and ham it up right here. But another dating show was on Netflix this

6:56

week, Love His Blind is out now. Yes, More doesn't want to

7:00

watch it. I kind of want to watch it, just it's part of

7:03

the conversation. You know, you want to. I want to. I want to have a seat at the table, but not the head of the

7:06

table. I don't know who's that. I acknowledge that I like him,

7:13

but you gottacknowledge that's Roman Reigns reference there for you. But yeah, and

7:15

then next week, you know, we already talked about it preview. What

7:18

we're gonna talk about next week. We have Avatar coming out I think all

7:21

of its episodes, and we have the first two episodes of Bad Batches final

7:25

season. So good weekend, good week next week, good good weekend in

7:29

store. It's really really excited. Yes, Uh, And Kevin, I'll

7:33

flip it over to you. What you've been doing buddy, uh, you

7:36

know, being being a girl. Dad. I take lead to school every

7:40

day now and that's all. Every day's an adventure. It's something like this

7:45

morning it was, oh my god, Daddy, I lost my stitch lunchbox.

7:48

I'll never see it again. I don't want to eat lunch now because

7:51

I want that lunch box. I want to my old lunchbox. I'm like,

7:55

so either either, don't. I don't know what to tell you. Like there's as a parent where the I guess the patients kind of leaves you

8:07

and it's like, we'll be hungry. You don't. I'm gonna put the

8:09

one gend there. You make a decisions. I witnessed that was like two weeks ago, and you were like, anything about McDonald's And I was like,

8:16

I don't know, man, that would be the go to for my

8:20

parents would be McDonald's exactly by the way I would. I will never forgive

8:24

my parents for telling me that we don't have McDonald's money and being an adult

8:28

realizing that back then happy man able to donald anything McDonald's have reale, then

8:33

we don't have two dollars, Like, come on anyway. I'm also work

8:41

is work is pretty crazy. Right now because of the election cycles. Every

8:43

time somebody somebody announces something, I got to pour through PR contacts. That's

8:48

that's always fun. Other than that, I haven't really been doing much or

8:52

nothing, just you know, getting used to being the dad of two kids.

8:56

Now it's still still we're all have to now still crack. I have

9:00

a kid. I mean I have kids. I don't have this one kid.

9:03

I have two. Patiently counting down the dates at w W TWK twenty

9:09

four, I'm really excited for that game nineteen days and your boy's going to

9:13

try to work as magic as usual. I think we can get because that's

9:16

that's gonna make Wrestlemanning even hyper because you and I are gonna be like we

9:20

know everybody, We know all the potential storylines they could do. Now,

9:26

I guess a lot of people got got to handle on it very early, and everything looks great again. Looks like a big like not a big improvement,

9:33

but uh incremental improvement from last year and last year. We really liked

9:37

it, and it almost could have been a top game for both of us

9:39

because the amount of time we've both taken too. The just twenty three alone,

9:43

My god, I'm buying Teching. So here's the thing. If you

9:50

buy tech in, I would do it now because you have like nineteen days

9:54

and once you have wwe like I don't need to play Teching. Yeah,

9:56

I think about it too. I think like that, I'm buying it now,

10:00

gonna play it. But I keep hearing so many good things about the story. I'm pretty familiar with the Teching story. I've I followed the last

10:07

three or four, but the general storyline, I get the mischionist or the

10:11

bad guys. Everybody else is on the good guy kind of whatever. But

10:15

just just it's it's I guess design as a fighting game, a lot of

10:18

a lot of fighting and fihalities. I'm saying, like Mortal Kombat's street Fighter

10:22

six and this this is the best one out of all three and that lot.

10:26

It is funny how Mortal Kombat kind of came and went oddly enough,

10:30

because I feel like Mortal Kombat was the one, I think street Fighter and

10:33

tech and took some time off and now they're back with a fire and now, hey, Mortal Kombat, gotta get your ish together. If you are

10:39

going to come out with a maybe yearly installment, sometimes like you usually do,

10:43

especially since it's like the researchers I have Mortal Kombat techn' kind of taking

10:46

a back seat to Mortal Kombat and Street Fighters. Now we're better exactly.

10:52

Uh anything else? keV uh? Is there anything else? No? All

10:58

right? Well, JB. Perry, we did go to ww RAW this

11:01

week because it wasn't I think Lexington, Kentucky. Fortunately he wasn't on the

11:05

camera side. So if you were looking for that crisis cruise sign, unfortunately

11:09

it wasn't there. But in our hearts we'll say, we'll say, you

11:13

were on camera and we saw it. You know, thought I saw it

11:16

in my mind's IGB, so I was pretty proud of you, exactly. And then before we get onto the news, just want to say today,

11:22

as this podcast according is Teddy's adopt diversary four years ago today we adopted Teddy.

11:26

So hey, you can go back to the archives whatever the episode is,

11:31

four years ago, timeline wise, either before or after. No,

11:35

Teddy and Teddy didn't learn to do the intro till like about six months in. So someone say, who rescued who? That is true? That is

11:41

true. Let's get on into it because it is time for the news.

11:48

It's toughs and first things first, we have to talk about Xbox making a

11:58

pot video podcast to tell you about news you need to know. AKA,

12:03

don't watch or listen to it, just wait until IGN posts about it.

12:07

That's what I did, because I'm lazy. I had on the background while

12:11

I was playing God of War oddly enough, so that was fun of just

12:16

like, yeah, I ain't nothing important, ain't nothing important going on right

12:20

now. But essentially, you know, we've kind of talked about this last

12:24

week, I think when I had the solo episode two about Xbox potentially getting

12:28

rid of its exclusivity if it's games, sending them all to PlayStation, potentially

12:33

down not down grading or downsizing, but focusing more on game pass and usually

12:37

maybe the stick we've all kind of been hearing about. Well, thanks to

12:41

their Xbox Official Xbox podcast today, we now know only four games so far

12:48

are going to be coming to PlayStation Nintendo Switch didn't say specifically the consoles,

12:52

they said other systems. They didn't say also what those games will be,

12:56

but they will not be Starfield or Indiana, and so rest assured can play

13:01

your little n D hard out not I E. But for why yeah,

13:07

yeah, yeah, I mean last week, I really talking be able to

13:09

join you last week, I already want to talk about that, but we

13:13

all kind of lost our collective minds for like say, three hours last week.

13:16

It was kind of kind of leaked out. But I'm still of the

13:20

of the mindset of exclusive or not a lot of exclusive. I still think

13:24

Xbox is more into the games. That's a service, literal service model,

13:30

like a Netflix, like an Amazon Prime, like a Disney Plus. And

13:33

hardware is like you know, if you if you got it, we got

13:37

this hardware too if you want it. But if you know, like you

13:39

said, by the Xbox Game Pass stick for sixty bucks, then play us

13:45

seventy to seventeen bucks a month to play the games on there. H So

13:48

kind of think where they're moving. Interesting thing is they didn't, like I

13:52

said, they didn't say what games are coming, But experts, you know,

13:56

our video game repundits, are saying grounded High Fi Rush, which you

14:01

aren't even about Pentiment, and what's the other game Thieves see A Thieves yes?

14:07

Or will be the four games? Two live service games with c A

14:09

Thieves and grounded technically and then to normal high Fi Rush Pentiment coming, which

14:16

great I think if anything extends their mileage, especially for SA thieves and Grounded

14:20

is Hey, we don't have to close up shop because we've done everything pirate

14:24

related in the game. Now, hey, PlayStation can enjoy it. Yeah,

14:28

but by the way, I went down a huge rabbit hole. I

14:31

know, I'm like four years late, but the Hoyster color is high all

14:35

base rendition on YouTube. I don't know why I'm so obsessed with it,

14:43

but it's Kevin's always late to the party, but you know he's gonna have

14:46

a good time with that party exactly myself in the corner. Also is confirmed

14:52

Diablo for technically the first real Activision Blizzard game. We'll be coming a game

14:58

pass on March twenty eight. Uh so not you know, an immediate thing.

15:01

We're still slowly trickling out that Activision thing on game pass. But hey,

15:07

that's besides called Duty. I think that's Activision Blizzard's new hotness game.

15:11

So that's pretty dope. Yeah, I have a cue colders. I love

15:16

the Yablo. That's like their game game passes what they need to be getting

15:20

so they can play it a year later for free. And I'm still the

15:24

mindset for me because don't get me wrong. I love Sony exclusives. I

15:28

love Sony PlayStation because pupum stations I was, you know, I don't know,

15:31

ten eleven, twelve years old. But Xbox Games Pass is a better

15:35

service than whatever the PlayStation thing is called Sony PlayStation plus, PlayStation plus pas

15:41

plus. It's not as good. It's just not as good. Yeah,

15:43

that's what games Passes is where it is. I mean, that's kind of

15:46

what we've kind of talked about. Is that's what Xbox is really reveling and

15:50

is Hey, for fifteen bucks, you can play all these games. Granted

15:54

it's not the one game you want to play potentially if it's like you know,

15:58

with Spider Man or you know, God of War or something like that.

16:02

But I mean, the flip side and this we wouldn't really have this plan of news, but it's more good for this case. PlayStation said this

16:07

year probably won't have any big games coming out this year, first part,

16:12

first party side. Obviously, we have Final Fantasy seven Rebirth coming out in

16:17

like a week, but like nothing on the levels of a God of War,

16:22

Spider Man or an un Charted anything from Naughty Dog at all. Besides

16:25

obviously Last of Us Part two remake that came out in January. You kind

16:30

of forecasted that we were at the video game release potential list. This year

16:36

it will be more of a multi platform year what last year was because even

16:40

with Xbox at Starfield and what was the other game, nobody like the vampire

16:44

game Blood not Blood Born. I don't know that it was bad. So

16:51

last year wasn't more a more first party exclusive type of year. But Red

16:56

Fall is what it was was. Yeah, But at the same time,

17:00

if it happens to you a lot, somebody in your family, somebody is

17:03

in your circle, comes you say, hey, my kid wasn't a video

17:06

game, which I get them. If they don't want spend a lot of money out there, do go buy him a Chromebook and get them Xbox hit.

17:14

Here's the thing, I think those will get cheaper that Xbox did say

17:17

they will potential later this year announcing the next leap in hardware generation Blue black,

17:22

Blue blah blue buzzwords. I'm assuming it's probably a console refresh. We're

17:27

due for that for both that and PlayStation five. Place in five technically did

17:32

that with the Slim but more of like on the hard the guts side.

17:37

You know, I hate to be like, you know, the person and

17:41

that teared articles apart. The fact that he said that kind of kind of

17:44

feels like he's waving the white flag of this generation, like Okay, you

17:48

got this. Yeah. I mean, I think there's no way to come

17:51

back. I mean, it's it's wild to think that even PlayStation said,

17:55

oh, you know, we're cutting on. We had a bad year because

17:57

they didn't make twenty five. They didn't sell twenty five million consoles in twenty

18:02

twenty four, but they sold twenty one million, whereas like Xbox is selling

18:06

maybe like five million or something. But it is wild just to think,

18:11

you know, I just got a PlayStation five. A lot of people just

18:14

got a PlayStation five because a year, Yeah, because we had we've had

18:17

the drought and you know, parts weren't here and all that good stuff.

18:22

So I think it'll be interesting how this works because this console generation was very

18:27

impacted by the pandemic, and I think that really skews us as like consumers

18:34

of like, wait a second, I didn't get what I wanted, you

18:37

know, on Xbox and PS four, Like we had six solid years of

18:41

bomb bomb, bomb, bomb bomb, hits. Yeah. Yeah. And

18:47

even with Sony, one reason why did you didn't catch your goal was because

18:49

even at the beginning of twenty twenty three, you were still going through the

18:52

pandemic shopfold out. I don't think the PlayStations became like, you know,

18:56

oh my god, I'm gonna go to the store and get one now until

18:59

summertime, like maybe middle of the summer. But so I see, I'm

19:06

still not like I am still a Sony fan above Xbox this generation. I'm

19:11

not one of the crazy you know, tribal Procersoft has to win, Sony

19:15

has to I'm not doing that kind of stuff. But it's if you if

19:18

you have found ad dollars to PLoP down on the system, there's clearly one

19:22

system you should get, not only tax tax refund and just saying that time

19:27

a season, I haven't. I can't do mine yet because I'm still waiting

19:30

for four, three or four things. Do I use it to buy a

19:33

TV or for a wedding TV or pay for some of the wedding You want

19:40

new TV? Now? Well, I mean, you know, I got a fifty inch you know, hoo? Do you need something nice? You

19:45

know? Yeah? It is, it is you know, it doesn't fit

19:48

on like it doesn't fit on a dresser like a thirty two actually does.

19:52

But you know when I bought ours, I was like, I want I

19:56

went there for a sixty I was like, well, step he's like forty

20:00

bucks more, I might as well buy that one. That's why I tell

20:03

people on Disney, I'm like, well, if you're gonna stay at All Star Resorts, you know Pop Century is only forty bucks more, might as

20:08

well go there. But I won't do it. Who cares? We're bad?

20:11

We're very very bad. People like do it to do it at the

20:18

Meme says I'm not rich, I'm financially a responsible. Well, I mean

20:21

that's this podcast. I look behind me and behind you right now. Anyway,

20:26

let's get on over talk about some video games. Let's go on some

20:29

TV shows, because hey, the super Bowl might have happened, but everyone

20:33

this week said, eh, I'm not gonna put body on super Bowl.

20:36

We'll just make our own announcements and it'll get the same amount of buzz that

20:41

kind of spells data for super Bowl honestly too, And we're not going to give you seven million dollars. We want to give you about two as they

20:45

go to YouTube. I mean, it's the same thing we've talked about video

20:48

games, is why would have why would Xbox advertise on E three when they

20:51

can do their own thing on YouTube exactly, And that's what they're doing and

20:55

might have an exposition direct direct big stoodcast. Look just saying Marvel paid less

21:03

money for the thirty second Deadpool trailer and watching making people watch it than having

21:07

people put in the full trailer on Super Bowl. You know, it makes

21:11

financial sense. They're financially responsible. We're not. But Netflix has revealed Umbrella

21:17

Academy's fourth and final season coming out Thursday, August eighth, twenty twenty four,

21:23

so still a ways to go makes sense, though we don't have a

21:26

We got sort of a glimpse of like five seconds of a trailer during Netflix's

21:33

announcement make a couple weeks ago, but they also shared a bunch of posters

21:36

showing them in the series, obviously, in case you forgot, it's about

21:38

the hard Greaves family. They're all adopted. You know, they had the

21:42

developed superpowers because of they're all born on the same day. At this point,

21:47

I'm like, I don't remember how they got all the powers specifically,

21:51

but their adopted dad adopted them all because they were born on the same day.

21:55

I think it was last season we found out he was an alien the whole time. You know, Oh really, I never finish last season.

22:00

I'm like, not bored. There you go, no worry. But Elliott

22:03

Page, Tom Hoppers, Luther, David Castagnatos, Diego, Emmy Raver,

22:10

Lampton's Allison, Robert Sheton's clause which very fun, Justin h Ben's Ben,

22:15

and comb feor as Sir Reginald Hargreaves all coming back. And it looks like

22:21

apparently Nick Offerman and Meghan Malali will be joining the show for its final season,

22:25

which is dope. Well that if you want to watch it. I love them two together on screen because they're married. They have unspoken chemistry.

22:32

But I gotta tell you, man Klaus, their dad, and Diego on

22:37

the three characters after a while to kind of great on me. I was like, oh God, why are you the way you are? I think

22:41

that's interesting is like all the characters on this show have ebbs and flows of

22:45

like you really like them and then you really hate them. Yeah, like

22:49

mine was the girl who rumor has it and like we hated her for like,

22:56

I don't know what it was, but she did it, and we're like, how damn you say that. Yeah, it's just one of those

23:03

shows that just make you like, maybe maybe it's a good job to writers,

23:06

make you two invested to them. They make it like, ah, so I don't like you, it's good, don't turn tv ot. Yeah,

23:12

maybe maybe I'll give them the last season a quick peek through to kind

23:17

of skim through it caught up, but the sort of you know, Umbrella

23:21

Academy and The Boys, which were due for a trailer for that tenchnical week,

23:25

we got an in Universe trailer which was okay, but we want a

23:30

real trailer for that. You would assume probably come out June or around when

23:33

this is coming out. They always do interfere with one another. But it

23:38

is funny to see that those two shows were kind of paving the way of

23:42

the modern superhero shows we have now that we see everywhere, which is fun.

23:48

Yeah. I will still never understand how The Boys is literally so good

23:52

all the time. Well, we'll find out in the next season, you

23:55

know what I'm saying. That nothing to do but drop, but it could

23:57

all go up. Still, that the coaster like we'ds neop. They don't

24:02

miss, they just don't ever in a way of one. Carmelo Hayes mellow,

24:07

don't miss, Melo, don't miss. I know I know some XT

24:11

people now then gude, I'm infecting. What happens during WrestleMania season It always

24:18

happens, like I get really into it. And then about a month after,

24:22

who Roman, Who? What's he do? Rains on? What rains

24:29

on My parade? I like the rains down in Africa? Great song,

24:33

great song, but also what is great? Invincible? And we found out

24:37

Invincible Season two, Part two got a brand new trailer. We're not gonna

24:41

watch it just because there's a lot that goes on, but we're gonna play

24:45

it on the background. So Kevin, play it whenever you want because I'm

24:48

having it on mute. But we pretty much make sure actually too. We

24:52

find out that Invincible Part two of season two continuing season two. I mean,

24:59

that's all we wanted to do, so just funny, I forgot about

25:03

this until it was announced I was coming back like two weeks ago, two

25:06

weeks ago, and that's oh yeah, sweet, that's something to look forward

25:08

to. So funnily, enough. We're gonna talk about x N ninety seven

25:15

as well. That's coming out I think a week after this comes out on

25:19

March fourteenth. And I love that the Invincible whoever is running the boys and

25:25

the Invincible social media pages a plus because they're already like, let's make Invincible

25:30

X Men a thing, right the hashtag Invincible X Men do it? I

25:36

mean in the comic books they come from with Spider Man once or twice, so I mean, this is the season that canna happen. I do have

25:42

both Invincible one and two's Ultimate Collection the kind of their companions, So I'm

25:48

excited to watch part two and then read those two books to see, like

25:52

where we're at on the show can we go? We can't go further because

25:56

it's like four more of those books back there, but we'll see what happens

26:00

with this season because they kind of pick and pull from the comics to make

26:03

this, which has been fun and it's sometimes very busy. We've also said

26:07

at the same time, Yeah, I wonder too because they're also working on

26:11

my live action series with this too. I want to have what the protest of that is because that's interesting. Yeah, I think I hope we're far

26:17

from it, because it's like I want them to with this cast. We

26:21

have a very talented voice actors to finish this and then all right, we'll

26:26

condense it even more for a movie or whatever they want to do for a

26:30

live action show or something. Yeah, and again this is another show produced

26:36

by Seth Rogan, The Invincible that hasn't missed yet. But the only complaint

26:41

I had about the first part season too, there was too many things going

26:44

on. I don't think they were bad. I said there was too many things going on. I mean, my main thing is remember that tiger guy

26:49

that killed Mark in the first season. Oh yeah, we'll probably get there

26:55

one day. You know, we're dealing on this trailer, we see that we're dealing with the Aliens again from Mars finally. Oh yeah, because that

27:00

was the whole thing went Why not a whole planet? It was like,

27:03

what happened with that? They're upset? Are you still upset? We'll find

27:08

out? Uh. I mean, I'm excited March fourteenth when it comes back

27:11

out. I think as of right now, a week every episode a week,

27:18

but we're getting like there's an episode where it's gonna be like why is Mark's not on Earth? Is Earth okay? Do they need them? And

27:22

it's literally all the Guardians of the Globe going up against a mini Thanos threat,

27:27

and it's like, oh, this is epic, but the hero of

27:30

our show isn't even here. But the character work on the show is so

27:36

strong that when Mark is not there for episode or even like you know,

27:38

a couple of scenes in the show, you don't feel like that that means

27:42

where It's like kind of like I was talking about how how I watched and

27:45

I was like, where's Andy? And or I don't care about this right

27:48

now? And okay, he's in jail. And oddly enough, just because

27:53

this is the back half, obviously we have anstrom Levy who you know we

27:59

in the first and our first half the season was in like the first two

28:02

episodes then wasn't in any at all. I'm like, wait a second, I thought we were doing on multiverse stuff. But oddly enough, the season

28:10

ends on the cliffhanger. Don't worry because Prime already renewed it for a third

28:12

season, so we're good for at least one more of these seasons, has

28:17

you I don't pay for it. The scaleies paid for it. So this

28:22

this coming out will be the first test of how's that ad model working.

28:26

You know, I haven't watched Prime since Invisible first half stops. I don't

28:32

even know if mine got adds yet. Oh, actually, this is a

28:34

fun story. Stop me if I said this on the podcast, but notorious

28:41

on this podcast, I said, I'm still rolling off a paramount plus free

28:44

trial that they've never charged me or whatever. Well, the other day they

28:48

signed more and I out and we were freaking out for the longest time,

28:51

Like no, we were in the middle of a show, and then we

28:55

just signed back getting nothing happened, So that worked. You're like there,

29:00

like, I don't know it blind Spot for some reason, somebody's on vacation

29:03

and they were falling over your account and they haven't checked it in years.

29:07

I'm not telling them nothing. You won't tell them nothing. All right,

29:10

Well, Kevin, let's switch back to the normal view for now, because

29:14

there we go perfect. We have to talk about Fantastic. No, not

29:21

Bruno, some read Richards, some Sue Storm, some Johnny Storm. It's

29:26

a Ben grimm And prediction that we made months ago, and with no one

29:32

in that information, we just said this would be cool. And it happened. I'm just saying because in case you missed it, obviously, we retweeted

29:38

a lot. It was exciting as hell. Even in the morning show,

29:42

Your Johnny Mornings show's talking about it. Fantastic four announced they're casting on Valentine's

29:48

Day through a sort of pseudo Valenine Valentine's Day graphic, officially announcing Pedro Pascal

29:55

will be read Richards mister Fantastic. Sue Storm will be played by Vanessa Kirby

29:59

aka She'll be Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn from Stranger Things Eddie who may or

30:04

may not have died. We're still waiting on that outcome. Uh. He's

30:07

gonna be Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss Barak, who

30:12

you know as Cousin, will be playing Bang Graham aka The Thing. This

30:18

is great. I love his casting. It's it's very, very must the

30:22

word. It's not like they cast it the brady bunch of somebody that's been

30:27

in a lot of stuff. It's a hot cast. Let's face it,

30:30

Kevin. They're all attractive. It's a very attractive cast. But also all

30:33

four actors that have done four different things and Joseph Quinn is the newcomer technically,

30:40

but he did trage your things, so like, yeah, they're all

30:44

attuned to be it in a big franchise at least. And of course Panta

30:47

Pascal is just you know, space daddy, so we're excited about this is what you know. He's Mando, He's this, he's Obrad Martel. And

30:55

then he should have won. He had that fight one, he had one.

30:59

He's Joel for the last of us he had. But hey, thank

31:03

god he did, because now we have a whole thing because then he's in

31:06

everything. True, he is everything now. And Marvel may have their new

31:10

Tony Stark. Yes, Vanessa Kirby also in case, oh yes, I

31:14

guess well this is yeah, this is Marvel. Vanessa Kirby is in case

31:18

you haven't known, she I guess more famously in the Mission Impossible movies,

31:22

the more recent ones as kind of like the Broker, I forget what the

31:26

character's name was. Also, she was in Hobson Shaw She's she saw his

31:30

sister, so she was in that one fast perious spinoff. Yes, Hobbs

31:34

and Show was a fun afternoon. But Kevin not to be alarmed too,

31:40

you know, kind of looking at the logo we got, and we know now that Matthew Matt Shackman, who notoriously was kind of the set lead runner

31:51

on Wanda Vision, this show's gonna be set in the sixties. It's gonna

31:55

be dope, or this movie's gonna be set in the sixties. I've been

31:59

saying for years the way to send this movie up is that when go wherever

32:02

they go to get their powers, and they come back it's literally years later.

32:07

I've been saying that that's the best way to do it. And maybe

32:10

they were so high up in Shield that they never talked about anybody else because

32:14

we don't know w they are. So but yeah, I mean the image

32:20

is really dope. I mean, I don't know anything else besides that Matt Shackman's director. Actually we do know coming out officially July twenty fifth, twenty

32:27

twenty five, so that's moving up. And I think I believe Thunderbolts is

32:30

taking its place, which was originally going to be in May. And also

32:35

article does say that Shackman has taking inspiration from Always Sunny in Philadelphia, So

32:39

I hope there's a line in this from Joseph Quinn as Jonny humans storms.

32:45

He says, anyway, I came out, I just saw a blasting and

32:51

in case you for you were like, wait a second, where's Captain America going to go? That's coming out February fourteenth next year. So we got

32:57

a year till that movie comes out. And it makes sense. You know,

33:00

we have Black Captain America. Let's come out in February because Black Panther

33:05

worked, so let's do it again. That's weird. I guess it's on

33:08

a Friday. That's why val time today. That's gonna be a hard ticket

33:12

to get because that's that's a date night. That's a movie. That's where

33:15

you reserve going to your Almo draft houses or the you know your movie whatever

33:20

that sell food and then hey, let's do dinner in movie. I know

33:22

it's cliche, but you want to see Captain America just as much as I

33:27

do. I don't usually do the whole ticket by tickets now thing when in

33:30

the commercial, but for that I'm going to because not even because I want

33:32

to go on a date with my wife, is it's gonna be a hert

33:36

ticket to get that weekend? Yes, which it was dope. I hope it gets maybe that's why Marvel moved it. It gets the black Panther treatment

33:43

because we went I mean, I know that was different and it was,

33:45

you know, kind of a first and everything, but it'd be dope to

33:49

have a cool cultural moment again of just like everyone's in the theaters because it's

33:54

you were know, Anthony Mackie is now our Captain America. This is a

33:58

big deal. This is the really big deal because not everybody is keen on

34:05

the lineage of Captain America. Basically in the comics like Steve Steve Rogers and

34:10

Samuelson aren't only to Captain Americas allowed Captain Americans books, And it's kind of

34:15

like the Spider Man. Everybody. Anybody can wear a mask. A person that has that shield is a very trustworthy person. That's why they have a

34:20

shield. Hopefully that translates on screen into some of these knuckleheads that go knuckle

34:27

aheads and that's where they are get some of the nerves. I'm just saying

34:31

real quick. Captain Marvel two is a good movie. And because people's clothed

34:35

minded this, it didn't make any money. That that's my opinion. I'm

34:38

sorry, but regardless, you know, we have a slow year this year

34:43

for Marvel. You know, we have ninety seven technically coming out too,

34:46

but you know we have Deadpool. That's it as far as we know.

34:51

TV show wise, who knows. We're still figuring that out. But it

34:54

looks like next year'll payoff because February, that may in July Boovye movie movie.

35:00

Yeah, and there's still no word on she was movie calling the Iron

35:04

Heart the show. Yes, that's what we released. It's done. Maybe

35:07

they're going to do how they did Echo. We're just you know a month

35:10

before. Hey, it's coming on next month. All right here, it

35:13

is great, have fun, cool, we'll finally find Mephisto, hopefully Memphisto.

35:21

But back to Fantastic Four real quick. Also, it was I did want to mention that the four weren't the only ones in the poster because they're

35:29

lovable. Robot Herbie also on the poster, which is such a sixties ass

35:35

move of having a robot that's cute and won't murder you at all. An

35:37

eighties version of that robot would murder you, isn't Herbie also the team's assistant

35:43

on Microsoft. No that I have no idea. I came back do not

35:49

know that, but interially enough, they'll probably have like a Ben Schwartz or

35:52

some Bill Hayter voice Herbie like that. Jason man Zukis would be fun too.

35:58

Jason man Zukus for everything. I wish he could be everything in Hollywood.

36:01

Man zuka Is is the best. Uh, but not to be outdone

36:06

by that, Yeah, there you go. We also found out that Deadpool

36:10

and the Wolf and Wolverine and the Wolverine and Wolverine is now the most watched

36:16

trailer of all time within the first seventy two hours of its release. Yeah

36:22

believe it beat Spider Man No Way Home for that title. Correct. Interesting

36:27

because I mean the trailer didn't show them too too much about the movie.

36:30

Yeah, it really just Deadpool action, you know. Yeah, yeah,

36:35

and just a dead Pool suit up scene and him grabbing his butt because you know, it's Deadpool. That's why we love him. But it's very surprising

36:42

that this once maybe even like a I don't know, f list Marvel character

36:47

from the nineties, is now one of the biggest characters in their film franchise.

36:51

It's kind of cool to see so for for trailer wise, these are

36:54

kind of the top five most few trailers within the first twenty four to seventy

36:59

two hours. Dead Pullin Wolverine has number one with three hundred and sixty five

37:06

million views. That's as of this podcast, according to probably got a ton more already. Uh. Spider Man No Way Home three fifty five point five,

37:13

which that was a big trailer because it was like, oh, Stamp,

37:15

we're doing all the villains. We know the heroes are coming to Uh.

37:19

Then you have No Way Home under that. Avengers all right, annoy

37:22

home? Yeah, Avengers endgame with two eighty nine. Uh, and then

37:27

Avengers N Game's final trailer with two sixty eight. Then Lord of the Rings

37:30

The Rings of Power with two hundred and fifty seven million views within the first

37:35

twenty four hours. Oh, I have about a Lord of the Ring show.

37:37

Everyone was hired for it, and then that show came out and this

37:40

is not one I wanted. It looks great, but I do not want

37:44

this. I a don't get a season two. Uh they are will when

37:50

will it come out? Who the hell knows? Because that's why Amazon's charging

37:54

anymore so they can film that show. Yeah, any Amazon promina to day

38:00

and see if I'm if I'm getting their heads that's gone me sad uh,

38:05

But it is interesting, you know, this trailer getting that many views.

38:07

Obviously super Bowl and inflated it helps it too. But we could be on

38:13

track for Marvel coming back finally to the box office and playing around of pushing

38:17

the needle on box office records and all that good stuff. Because for the

38:22

past you know, a year or so, it's kind of it came out

38:25

nothing record wise. The biggest two successes of the last few years has been

38:30

Guardians and Wakana. Forever that's been That's been two main successes. Other than

38:36

that, there have been movies that come out that may be well received by

38:40

the Marvel fandom but maybe does not make as much money. Yes, and

38:46

I still contend that marvelod movie. It's the Marvels. You mean, the

38:52

Marvels, great, great, great movie. Doesn't even remember the titles.

38:57

I get the genuine it was Captain Marvel, yes, correct, But yeah,

39:02

I mean I hope really that movie does well because it's Deadpools intro them.

39:07

So you we got you know, Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine, and chaos shenanigans will ensue most likely. Plus we're gonna have to wait eight months

39:15

at least to the next movie. And so I think this might work out

39:19

for Marvel of doing one a year in some years, having a slow year

39:23

that a heavy year. It could work out in their favor like a big

39:28

movie and then three not as big, but big movies, but not like

39:35

this is the tentpole movie. You know, Yeah, Tempole support and supporting

39:37

Tempole support and sporting Temple. That that's the way it should go, going

39:42

for it. Yes, Now, Kevin, my last question with this,

39:44

because we're just talking Marvel in general before we move on to the next Marvel thing, actually, Fantastic four. Do you think they'll introduce Doom in the

39:51

first movie or do you think they will try to save him because it's kind

39:53

of, you know, we kind of been saving villains now for things.

39:59

Especially Doom is a bigger deal. He didn't hit the button. He said

40:02

that, by the way, hit the button, Yeah, the Doom button.

40:06

Oh sorry, I was looking in your eyes instead of my button board

40:10

over here. Okay, Doom should at least be the first guy. So

40:20

you think end credits for sure that that maybe the first movie is them dealing

40:23

with their powers whatever, and then some random ass right or whatever. I'll

40:29

even say maybe it shouldn't even Doctor, it should be Victor von Doom.

40:31

His actual person just has sort of a Lexolu Thori role, and then he

40:37

becomes Doom. So maybe maybe he's the villain in the second one, but

40:39

he's not Doctor Doom yet, he's just Victor von Doom. Then they quotations

40:43

to feed him. And then the third one, that's when you have actually have doctor now, Kevin, this will lead back to though your always Sonny

40:51

in Philadelphia mentionings is I took I typed in Fantastic Four Villains. Oddly enough

40:58

do Doctor Doom on this list, So I don't know what this list is

41:01

automatically wrong. Top of that list Moleman and who could infamously play Moleman that

41:08

we all love, but you know, maybe I want to see him be

41:10

a douche one Danny de Vito. Anyway, that just came out blasted,

41:15

just came out blasted. He can literally just quote lines from Sonny and like

41:19

that's they told me not to say anything from the scripture is improv They also

41:24

have another I don't know if he was a villain, but he's definitely a

41:31

sore subject for mister Reed Richards in the comic books. At one point the

41:37

more had an affair with us suit that would because I kind of want to

41:42

see it because no More and to Storm and the MCU they hot, so

41:49

I am no mortal. Yeah, so any of that happens. So we

41:53

have a year and some change. So I'm assuming they're filming right now compare

42:00

to anything else, and that movie is coming out next summer. They're at

42:05

least doing some kind of pre work for it. At least at least they

42:07

definitely helpfully have the thing and human torch animations figured out this time. Oh

42:13

do you want the thing to be practical or CGI? I think you do

42:16

CGI? Okay, I like, I like practical thing where you know,

42:21

Michael chitt Liss is almost passing out because how much rubber latex fhomias on.

42:27

I just hate like that one quick little thing you can see when when like

42:30

sitting or compressing your arms like that, you can see the phone. I

42:32

can see it's fake. They're supposed to be broke. That's awes. It

42:36

makes sense exactly exciting times though, but also exciting is we have to head

42:43

back to reaction theater, Kevin, if you're ready with that one. I

42:45

am ready for Loop backed Reaction Theater because to me, my X Men,

42:55

we got a new t we got finally the trailer for Marvel's X Men nineties.

43:00

And no, technically this isn't Marvel Studios, it's Marvel Animation. Marvel

43:07

Animation doesn't have as I guess greater as a reputation that DC Animation does,

43:15

but they still do some pretty award well. I think Marvel Animation this is

43:17

the new thing. I don't think this is like, yes, there's been

43:20

Marvel Animated things, but this is now the like, this is our house

43:24

of branding of animation. I'm assuming what if would go there? Marvel Zombies

43:29

as well, and whenever Spider Man comes out, Spider Man if it ever

43:32

comes out, tbd how that works with like the Spider impals and all the

43:37

good stuff. But everything that's like Marvel Studios but isn't MCU Cannon. This

43:44

is great. I think this makes sense. It's sort of separated, like, well, so this is what the X Men will be doing for the

43:47

MCU. No, this is its own thing. Yeah, And if you

43:52

were around like me, who do you were during this period when the show

43:57

was on? This is definitely hits you writing in Nostasia Field as well.

44:00

Well, here's the thing, Kevin, I'll say this before we start the trailer. Maybe only watched one episode of the original X Men cartoon. I

44:07

know the theme song because it's in everything, but uh, and I have

44:10

the Wolverine toy back there, just because the wolverine toy look cool and you

44:15

kind of can see one of them right there, which is really dope. You know, the trailer, which is cool, But I think we're gonna

44:21

do a rewatch, or not even rewatch, but a first watch before this

44:24

comes out in a March. Yes, I'll watch a watch. What's one

44:30

and you know More is out of town this weekend, so what a perfect

44:34

time. Just got chudes, hang out in whatever you want to wear,

44:37

and then just just watch some god tudes. Let's watch them bringing cartoons.

44:43

But Kevin, for you, what so you were probably prime ags for this,

44:46

like you kind of mentioned, right, Yeah, I am not the

44:52

biggest fan of the show as a kid, I wasn't conditioned for Cereal I

45:00

guess programming yet, Yes, Powering just started. They were in they were

45:05

in the Angel Juice Bar, and then something happened. They morph theyre waiting

45:09

to kill the bad guy and then everything's okay next week. But this was

45:14

always like next week, tune in for the like I don't want next week

45:17

because I mean, i'd be home next week because who knows my mama will

45:20

do. I'm not gonna be here now. I won't be here though,

45:22

what I gotta do now? And and and a show that was like that.

45:27

I was on the same time as Batman's the same way. They had

45:30

a few uh serial arcs, but most of them were all containing episodes,

45:34

so for me, I was like, I'm not gonna watch they never ends.

45:37

Yeah, so I think this will be obviously we never watched the trailer

45:39

yet, but it will be an interesting Also, they're totally gonna re release

45:44

these as Marvel Legends. I know they kind of have a little bit,

45:47

but they're gonna release the whole line again because it's already are advertising this make

45:52

bookou money once again. Also, oh my god, when they do the

45:55

huge jack in Marvel Legends in the costume dead ball Man, I'm gonna buy

46:00

it. That's gonna be the first Marvel Legends I truly buy. Ever,

46:04

I may buy, I may look into figure out how to get the hot

46:07

toy of that. Okay, there we go. All right, we've already

46:13

we got playing the budget again once again, back to the unfinancially irresponsible podcast.

46:20

We are okavin, Let's watch the trailer, talk about a little bit

46:23

and figure out, you know, will it be good or not? All

46:27

right? Yes, all right, kind of three? Get hit play one

46:30

A two A three, watch the series finale of X Men next Saturday morning

46:37

check come back home TV. Like that spoilers for the show. Fate lies

46:49

in our hands now now now yeah, yeah, yeah, just off the

46:57

rip. Yeah, it is funny though, Like the State Vigilant, the

47:06

Professor entrusted us with. I feel like in the nineties every cartoon show looked

47:08

like this or is dystopian as city like that looks like Detroit Cot. Everything

47:14

was like that, terrible We must believe in each other. Do we get

47:25

this done by working together as a team? Jeez, bomb, keep buzzing

47:30

in my ear. Wait, character, this is the coolest. That was

47:47

the coolest thing. That's pretty cool to me. My X Men Magneto,

48:06

the last will and testament of Charles Xavier. Everything he built now belongs to

48:13

me. They say, damn should have been an X the plus should have

48:19

been an X logo, but you know it is what it is like that,

48:22

yeah, but when it makes sense, but yeah, so off the

48:27

rip looks dope. It is weird just what you see what the old animation

48:30

looked like and then seeing the new animation, like, I don't know how

48:34

I feel about that. The main thing I was like, I get that

48:38

we're painting homage to this show and the way animation was done at that time,

48:44

but seeing that kind of two D slash three D animation with c G

48:49

I, it's kind of like how I feel about Attack on Titans some the

48:54

Uncanny valley that hits my eyes wrong. It was weird. I like it.

48:59

I see. In case you didn't know, you can watch the original

49:01

series on Disney Plus B T dubs in case you didn't know that that's what

49:05

I'm gonna be doing soon. But Andy Jogon says, Magneto always looks so

49:08

fabulous, and yep, that's what he looks like in this. I think.

49:12

The weird thing for me is I think for us, for most people

49:17

that know the X Men, you picture the not not mainly what they look

49:22

like, but their voice and what their Cadence is supposed to sound like based

49:25

on the X Men movies, and you're like, wait a second, Wolverine

49:30

does not sound like you, Jacobin or but like the bub was off, like was off. It wasn't how like you think it. Or it wasn't

49:36

Stephen, it wasn't Steve Bloom. That's the other thing. I remember how

49:39

Wolverine sounds in that show, and that just sounds nothing like Wolverine. Everybody

49:44

else sounds pretty faithful to the way they sounded. That sounds like a different

49:47

person, don't Uh, it does look like ma George Jennifer Haill's gonna be

49:54

Jean Green to get Gray, George Buza's beast Alison Seely Smith is Storm.

50:00

Then they have Matthew Waterson as Magneto. That's the other one that threw me

50:04

off. I'm like, why does Magneto sound so young? But his whole

50:07

like that doesn't make sense, you know, and doesn't think I don't think.

50:12

I just you know, Magneto didn't. He wasn't as as villainy villainous

50:17

as as Magneto as in the movies were uncause he was more just like the

50:22

anti Professor X but at the same time, Like you said, see that

50:28

they were the same age. He sounded like an older guy. That guy

50:30

sounds really young. Uh so oddly enough, let me get this right,

50:37

uh Castle cal DoD was the original voice actor for Wolverine, so and and

50:45

he was in Spider Man too as Wolverine too. It was funny is that

50:47

we were in that shared universe at the time and didn't appreciate that, like

50:51

the X Men would pop up in the Spider Man show and there was so much fun Iron Man and Fantastic Four shows kind of going off at the same

50:58

time too. I think for I was more of was X Men evolution,

51:02

which is when they're all like back in college or whatever. They introduced Toad,

51:06

and that was Nightcrawler. That was like my X Men cartoons, and

51:08

obviously the movies happened, so be interested in going back. And obviously Jubilee

51:14

a big part of this bishop as well. They haven't really get didn't get

51:17

their dues so hot in the movie. So'll be interesting to see that Gambit.

51:21

I think it will be fun. And this scene of Gambit, you're kind of powering up Wolverine's claws. That's that's dope. That's a hot toy

51:28

right there. You know, I do remember that that faithful morning though,

51:30

when I'm watching Spider Man and suddenly at the end of the episode, Wolver

51:35

show up in the alley and there's funny My little mind was blown. Oh

51:38

my gosh, on the same screen this this amazing. Well, I think

51:42

it was, like was it. There's a Spider Man episode where he's like,

51:45

who's your roster? He's like, I want Human Torch and I want

51:47

Storm and I'm like, well, he's just picking everybody and Iron Man because

51:53

they only have cartoons at the same time. But it's part of me and

51:57

X Men were the ones that kind of cut on. I wasn't great the

52:00

theme songs, That's what. Now here's the thing. I saw a lot

52:04

people in the comments. If we get this, cancel the Spider Man show,

52:07

just keep going the original one from the nineties, and I wouldn't be

52:10

mad about it. They know. Well. The thing about that is,

52:14

though, even though I'm not a big biggest fan of the X Men nineties

52:19

show, it stands up to time pretty good. The Spider Man show does

52:22

not stand up the time. Okay, the overacting is script like, oh,

52:28

I'm a well, I mean they redo it and then we're good.

52:32

You know, that's all they need to do, but it's worth noting the

52:37

show is also getting a prequel comic coming out March twenty seventh, so a

52:42

week after the show comes out of March twentieth. No, I don't think

52:45

there's word yet if it's coming out weekly or all at once, at least

52:50

a premiere date. Would you want this weekly or all at once? All

52:54

at once? It's because of what we want. We've learned from the Bad

52:59

Batchel the Fast few years, the animated weekly storytelling. Unless you're going to

53:04

put how much effort as Invincible puts into their show, you need to release

53:07

them all the ones. First season will consists of ten episodes. The second

53:14

season's already in development, got greenlit Jesus, so it'll be interesting to see

53:20

if it actually it will probably be weekly, so I would say March,

53:24

we'll go to April and in May. Pretty much okay, I can see

53:30

that. I like. I hope they will do some all that once, but if it's weekly, I definitely understand it. Because there's no role shows

53:37

on Disney Puss right now, because Priscy Jackson just ended Await from Bad Batch

53:40

after that, what is it? Well, that's all we need is a

53:43

bad batch. Damn it all right, I don't want a bad batch and

53:45

get overshadowed again how it normally does, where it's like, yeah, it's

53:49

on, but other stuff's on too. That's a very good point. Yes,

53:52

so get ready for that. I'm excited. Obviously it's the comic's gonna

53:57

bridge the gap between the original show and the new one. But then this

54:00

will continue that on and I think if anything gets us ready for the actual

54:06

xpen because by the time season two happens it comes out, we'll probably be

54:09

getting ready for that X Men movie finally or whatever or Somethingfully well, we'll

54:14

see because Kevin keeps saying don't don't hold your breath, that's coming. But

54:19

you know what I'm saying, says win though. Also, I just want

54:22

to share that the chat at twitch dot tv, slash if on the score

54:24

pods, my site on X Men Evolution is superior by what I'm saying.

54:30

Oh no, that was a good show. I am more of a fan of that will ring the X Men. Remember that show on Nickelodeon, Like,

54:36

was that after Evolution? That was Way of Evolution? Yeah, that

54:39

was like probably three or four evolutions that came out, like right after I

54:45

believe the first Iron Man movie two thousand and nine. Man, this is

54:50

now, this is you going back to two thousand and nine with your damn

54:52

Spectacular Spider Man. This is yours again to that. You know, let's

54:58

do some digging, Kevin. I'm gonna see is any of these other X

55:00

Men shows on Disney Plus? Because Spectacular Spider Man was good, so I

55:07

think Wolverine X Men was on there. I'm not sure if it's still on

55:09

there, and no, Spectacular Spider Man's gone, so it's not on Disney

55:13

Plus anymore. Yeah, Oh, Wolverine and the X Men is on Disney

55:17

Plus, Kevin. Only one season. It was only one season. It

55:22

was pretty good though. I liked it, all right. I'm gonna add that. Let's see X Man Evolution. We're at it to our list right

55:25

now. Evolution that's on there too, all right. Got four seasons of

55:30

that bad boy, all right, and then you know, let's just go

55:32

ahead. It's X Men in there too. We have a lot to watch

55:39

if you have a weekend, just a weekend afternoon Despair of the MTV Spider

55:43

Man animatesery wasn't that bad? I don't care. But that's not on Disney Plus, so I can't now it's not I think it's you watch on YouTube.

55:49

What Spider Man shows are on Disney Plus right now, here's the thing,

55:52

because we were champion Spectacular Spider Man when I rewatched it. You have

55:57

Spider and his amazing friends the nineties one Iconic Man. What is this one?

56:01

Twenty twenty Spider Man, twenty twenty Spider Man. Oh, that's the

56:06

one that was on Disney XD for a while. Okay, then you have the Spider Man. No Ultimate Spider Man in twenty sixteen. There should be

56:17

another one Disney XT. And then there's Spider Man Unlimited. But I know

56:21

that's like from the nineties two thousand. Yeah, the twenty twenty one is

56:24

one actually with him and Miles in the same show. Especially, it's not

56:27

that bad. Actually, well, I know we'll be watching this weekend and

56:30

it involves a lot of cartoons on the couch. Ultimate Spider Man is like,

56:36

low key, really funny. I'm just saying I'm gonna get really deep

56:40

into the X Men and be like, all right, here's the thing.

56:43

Wolvery not my favorite anymore and be like, I'm all in on Toad. You know, I don't even know who my favorite X man is. I

56:50

couldn't even say it. Maybe we'll have to find out when we watch this show. They're like, well, this is my favorite modern interpretation of an

56:55

X man. I don't have a favorite X man. I feel like you're

57:00

a Colossus Man or beast man. You know. I like you like Bishop.

57:05

Bishop's cool too, But I don't know a lot of Bichop to be a huge fan of him. Maybe it might maybe he's morph No. I

57:14

love Nightcrawler because Nightcwewler's backstory is pretty true. Well guess what, he's not

57:17

in the original n show. So I'm gonna move you out of that one.

57:21

And then one last thing we have to talk about it. Samuel L.

57:24

Jackson once a Mace Windo show and he deserves one. Dang it,

57:31

So Casey missed it. Empire Magazine has been doing as it was releasing two

57:37

Deep Dive. It's the same magazine, it's two different covers, a Sith

57:40

and a Jedi side of Comic or Not comic magazine dedicated towards the prequels.

57:46

We found out Palpatine fs to put it best, because they interviewed Ian mcdermy,

57:52

like, hey, does Palpatine get around and he said, I'm sure

57:55

he does around the set of Chambers or whatever. It's like, okay,

57:58

I didn't want to know that. I mean, if you saw him in

58:01

Phantom Mannas, he was a very charming person and that just that one that

58:06

was uh. Well, it turns out they've been interviewing all the actors and

58:10

everything. They interviewed Hayden Christen really dope. I'm just saying, I mean,

58:15

can announce he's going to be Shadows of the damn Hedgehog and then before

58:19

Austome Cohn and then I'm gonna I'm gonna be crazy. Uh. But they

58:22

interviewed Samuel Jackson, uh, asking him about being hurled out of a window

58:27

in Star Wars episode three, Red of the Sith Uh. According to Empire,

58:31

Samuel Jackson's response to that is he's not dead. Uh. He says

58:36

he didn't see him die, so there's still a possibility for him to come

58:39

back. That's what I've been saying that And that's the Star Wars way,

58:45

y'all. He can see it. He could be living in the bows of

58:49

course, I'm just you know, scraping by and not using the force and

58:52

then realized, oh, Paple Teen's come. Maybe it's tough to come back out of hiding. I mean, Heyhsoka wasn't hiding for a while. They're

58:58

in the entire original O G trilogy, so exactly he could still be.

59:04

I believe that Mace survived. I believe. Uh. Obviously, Samuel Jackson

59:09

made a voice cameo as a forced ghost and Rise of the Skywalker, so

59:14

did a Soca. But the whole thing, we're figuring that out how that happens. But you know, Star Wars has a habit of bringing back dead

59:22

characters. I mean, we we had Darth Maul, we've had Palpatine is

59:28

the other one. Somehow Palpatine returned, so would be pretty cool. Interestingly

59:34

enough, you know, Boba Fedt also was a big one too. I

59:38

think there was a comic that showed like or an extended universe thing that was

59:44

like he died pretty much where he survived and died later immediately. I think

59:49

it'd be cool if he's up to it. I mean, he did Secret Invasion, he got you gave him his Nick Fury Show, give him his

59:54

Mace Windu show make it up one a short series, you know, the

59:58

last you know, last je I Stand or something like that, you know. And if Mace, oh women dark Jedi, that that sounds good.

1:00:07

And if Darth Mall I about to say the same thing. If Dolph Maul can survive at the pure rage of being cut in half, and don't that

1:00:13

exhaustion thanked, Andy Mace can survive just because the guy talk about a little

1:00:16

lightning, just saying, tackle of the clones and can dove out of that

1:00:20

damn speeder and somehow navigate it through an entire course on traffic exactly. It

1:00:25

makes me just missing the hand is missing the entire bottom of his body.

1:00:30

Kevin's logic, his hand versus half a body. I'm just saying. And

1:00:35

the same thing happened. It was caught her eyes, so no blood coming

1:00:37

out of it because a lightsaber. So how did he go to the bathroom?

1:00:42

He's still does it. I don't know how it goes to the bathroom?

1:00:45

Got robot legs. Now, when you think about a lot of yeah,

1:00:51

that's when you think about Star Wars too much, and then they go ahead and tell you, oh, yes, bathrooms are now refreshers because of

1:00:57

the Mandalorians, so exactly that they're on the ship. Think about again just

1:01:01

forget what you know. But yeah, i'd be down for that. I

1:01:05

think that'd be cool. Even if it's on a Star Wars. What if we're making the tales of the Jedi, like an episode of like what Happened

1:01:10

to Him? That'd be cool. I don't think we need a Star Wars

1:01:15

show more than anything. I think that that's that's the one thing they really need to do. I believe all the time would tell hey, may fourth

1:01:21

getting here quick. Star Wars celebration. We get one this year. I

1:01:28

think it's in this year. No, there's not one this year twenty twenty

1:01:35

five, but they do announce stuff around Star Wars Day, so just keep

1:01:38

it ready. But that was sort of your food food for thought to ponder

1:01:43

on as of what do I want to Mace Wind do show? And should

1:01:46

he have a double bladed purple lightsaber? Yes, I should have a tribe

1:01:52

a try bladed he needs one. He needs an inquisitor one that's all purple.

1:01:57

Baby. They can be like they could be like purple do purple rate

1:02:00

with it? He should have a double blade at one and then where his

1:02:04

hand was just being on a lightsaber. They need to take from Star Wars

1:02:07

visions the one uh Sith got Samurai Sith who like or no, it was

1:02:13

one who had like a lightsaber Brella and it was like being shot things.

1:02:19

It's cool. So here's amazing that you really did incorporate this in the Star

1:02:22

Wars. But that does it for us on this episode of the podcast,

1:02:28

we'll be back on Monday talking about our Avatar and bad Batch last minute predictions.

1:02:34

What do we think will go wrong? What will go right on both

1:02:37

of those shows? Well we were talking about on Monday. Plus maybe we'll

1:02:40

go through the best movie presidents and or TV show presidents of all time because

1:02:45

the President's day good idea. I like that. Harrison Ford top of the

1:02:50

list, Get off my plane plane and that's the only one I can think

1:02:54

of. Bill Pullman, that's the other one I know so far. Today

1:02:58

we celebrate our independence, yes, so we'll be talking about that on Monday.
