Desiree lives in Richmond, VA with her two daughters, husband, and handful of animals. She is a fierce advocate of postpartum mothers and works to change the landscape of maternal mental health in the US. Desiree believes that trusting our instincts is the only right way to parent, and she works closely with mothers to learn how to get in touch with their mama gut. Additionally, she is in the process of getting certified as an IBCLC and hopes to start work as a lactation consultant ASAP.
